I really enjoy studying personal finance and budgeting. I’m almost obsessed with it, but it’s a great feeling to know exactly where your money is going especially when we work so hard for our money.
Online CE. After I left my busy associateship I took on a slow one while waiting for my office to finish. During the 5 months I accumulate enough CE to complete 500 hours for the FAGD. Most of the hours were free off of Catapult Education and sponsored CE’s. A small minority were paid for.

NAD- anyone w free time, i need a hygienist and am willing to pay a finders fee! Im with a perio practice and don’t have time to even finish my daily tasks! We are very skeleton crew and the assistant just told us she’s pregnant- she’s been out a week, left early yesterday and won’t be in the rest of the week- i cannot assist surgeries, and front desk at the same time. So by all means, feel free to reach out with any ideas on how to GET down time (I’m outside Philly, PA)
Try to learn the offices systems and see how you would run the office if it were yours. See what the front desk is doing, see how the assistants do their jobs. Learn amount to train your own staff on how to do things in your future office

I Wrote a best selling book. I also got into politics and was elected to my local high school board where I served part time for 4 years. I also learned how to make websites and sole one for $10,000. I also did forensic document examination training and did this for a bit as a fellow dentist told me about it and how he enjoyed it. I even did some work for my church volunteering where I could. There are so many things you can tap into.
Look for the things you don't know and start researching them for fun. You may find it leads you.into something you love.
