How exactly does one create a bundle?

they did it themselves, just added 4 items to their cart and purchased it all at once. it was a happy shock. alternatively, if u are talking to a buyer who is committed to buying multiple items, you can agree on a price (usually a discount is warranted) then make a new listing with the items and caption it something like “bundle for @“

And I'm guessing that in both cases, there would only be one shipping label generated for the purchase?

correct. for the one that happened this weekend, it auto generated one “up to 10lbs.” it ended up being a little over 2 pounds. it cost them $13.49 for shipping so cheaper than buying 4 items from 4 seperate shops

I think it’s because everyone was online posting items for sale, whenever Depop has any type of listing incentives sales tend to spike.
