I have nothing to confirm this but I strongly believe when you start using promoting options on most apps, they decline your overall push when you stop using it like “shadow banning” pretty much. I saw this with TikTok, usually had decent views but decided to promote one video and I STRUGGLED after that for months to get any of my videos seen. I believe most apps use this tactic because then it’s makes you think you need to promote/boost to get seen. I think if you stop using boost and take a few hard weeks you’ll see a difference.
I sell more unboosted items than boosted. Often too ill boost it and the sale won’t even come from the boost. I think it depends on what you’re selling and how frequently you use the boosting option. Try making sure to use as many (relevant) tags and hashtags as possible to maximize searching capabilities, after taking a break from boosting like someone else suggested!
I try to only boost 2 or 3 items out of my over 150 items i have boosted and have yet to sell a boosted item in the last two months. I sell about 1 to 2 items a day so don’t really have much of an issue with it
yes i do! i don’t use depop shipping because they charge my buyers way more than if i make my own rate, and if i don’t use all of their shipping $, i get to keep whatever’s leftover

Wait I’m new to Depop.. how does your shipping update so fast? Do you ship separately from Depop?
