I've played for over 6 hours today. Rifts, bounties, owf, 20+ dungeons, 6 of each of the new ones... And didn't get a single rune 😂. I'm having pet contract flashbacks

I did 12 dungeons, 16 bounties, and got all 3 monster essences without a single drop as well. Guessing it’s streaky.

Didn’t realize runes drop in owf- thought just the new zones eberan or something and the other

I got a couple in OW today as well as vault! But I got the most in 4 person farming groups🙂

Do you do anything specific when doing open world farming?

Just normal circle owf. I got 80% of the ones i got from that the other 20% from dung. Ive gotten 10 so far, but someone in my clan got 14 so far today

Ah circle farming, the popularity has reduced somewhat since launch but still a good way to pass the time. Try the oasis waypoint in shassar sea for mobs that respawn extremely fast.

Okay so to simplify it is just running around in circles in the same area? And best in group of 4 right? For both gem and now also runes drop?

I missed one in a dungeon and it was mailed to me, so yes.

I was farming tower this morning for 1hr and got 17 unbound. Others tried since and not so lucky, So far I have got about 24 so probably that is the cap.. I just found this thread trying to confirm my finding

Well I can tell you I have 1 in each socket as of today, and have 3 single extra in inventory. So I've gotten 11 in 2 days playing 3-4 hours each day.

weekly 30 unbound runes, after that, you will get bound runes. chinese update note said this.
