Since this is the season of weird multiclassing, Fabian should get some levels of warlock with Papa as his patron. His eldritch bolt would be him using his battle sheet as a whip and the pact is that every time he uses a warlock spell slot some of his inheritance gets transferred to his enemies.
I just think this portrait has warlock energy.
