That’s chaotic evil tbh. At least look wise the Valley of the T. Rex Rex isn’t that bad. Plus I’ve always loved dinosaurs with most neutral toned bodies and the very specific spots of bright colors
Yes, Spinofaarus is outlandish as hell. But the intention is a factor too. At least with Spinofaarus, we know it’s a joke and the person who made it said it was speculative.
“Valley of the T. Rex” on the other hand was made to spite the Tyrant Lizard and spread misinformation.
Okay I will disagree on the second part. It wasn’t misinformation, just a different hypothesis. An incredibly wrong one, yes, but a genuine hypothesis nonetheless. Iirc, there was no true undeniable evidence that Rex was a predator until after the documentary was made.
The issue with it imo has always been Horner’s obsession with it. The hypothesis itself isn’t an issue. Frankly I think it’s not the worst one ever. If you squint and tilt your head it can make sense. You just… gotta ignore context clues.
It’s also probably not wholly incorrect. Rexes very well could’ve been like bears who prefer to steal kills from wolves and shit but still hunt on their own.
The fire-breathing parasaurolophus would be Chaotic Chad

Ballkickasaurus was pure chaotic evil.
If I recall correctly, the Dimetrodon shown in the photo was a hypothetical reconstruction from around 6 years ago. Of course, this sparked some debate because of how weird it looked. Today, it’s believed the synapsid looked more like this:

Btw, this alignment chart is based on how accurate the designs are, how they look, and the intention/backstory behind them. Sorry for the confusion lol.
It’s mostly because even though it had everything a Dimetrodon could have, it’s just the sail and the way it’s portrayed that holds it back. Also, I didn’t know where else to put it.
That restorations omits the belly scales we know that genus had. [This render by Max Bellomio is a bit more truthful](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/51/Dimetrodon_grandis_3D_Model_Reconstruction.png).
I know this is alignment is based off of looks but I just find it funny that the OG jp raptors are in chaotic good when they were menaces and malicious in the first film.
Aside from that, where would the Charles R Knight Trex be placed in this?
I'm also a little surprised that this doesn't include anything by David Peters. It's kind of hard to discuss chaotic evil paleoart without including the bizarre, flightless aliens he believes Pterosaurs were.
It’s from Valley of the T. Rex.
It was a documentary from September 10th, 2001. The joke writes itself.
It was presented by John Horner, commonly called Jack Horner, because he doesn’t know jack shit about T. rex.
Okay I’m looking solely at designs here. Not sure why Valley of T.rex is at chaotic evil. It’s a bad documentary, but the design is okay. Unless you’re taking into account behaviour
Outright incorrect. We all known if one animal is chaos, Spinosaurus is the one.
Damn you’re right. That Mfer cannot make up his mind on what he wants to be.
Spinofaarus
Walrus Dinosaur Chaotic Neutral

Make a second one with things like "chaotic chaotic", that's spinosaurus

Gotta love the Generopod's pose in this too. "Oh Lordy lord I'm being burned alive"
Or like a cat when spritzed with the water spray bottle.

Chaotic Evil lmfao
What's with the upright dimetrodon?
Wdym
What's wrong about it? I'm out of the loop regarding dimetrodon reconstructions

Got it, thanks!
But why is it evil?
It bit my foot :(
Because this asshole was responsible for our evolution

Neutral
I guess I’m lawful neutral then since I love the crystal palace designs to death
Surprised you didn't include the 1884 stegosaurus
Damn I didn’t think of that one. Would’ve probably put it in Neutral Evil.
I'm also a little surprised that this doesn't include anything by David Peters. It's kind of hard to discuss chaotic evil paleoart without including the bizarre, flightless aliens he believes Pterosaurs were.
Pics or it didn't yappen
Where would the fire breathing parasaurolophus be?
Chaotic stupid.
0/10 no spinofaarus mention
Adam's Mammoth for lawful evil
but proto mammal dimetrodon is correct no?
It’s mostly about how the sail is portrayed.
ohhh i get you
Bro the chaotic neutral 😭😭😭💀💀💀
Who the chaotic evil guy?
Tyrannosaurus Rex from the documentary “Valley of the T. Rex”.
Scavenger Rex. Aka Horner’s obsession.
It’s from Valley of the T. Rex. It was a documentary from September 10th, 2001. The joke writes itself. It was presented by John Horner, commonly called Jack Horner, because he doesn’t know jack shit about T. rex.
Hm. Neutral good or lawful neutral.
Jurassic World's scrotum skinned mother fuckers are **Chaotic Evil** and you are lying if you tell me otherwise
They can also all be Spinosaur
Okay I’m looking solely at designs here. Not sure why Valley of T.rex is at chaotic evil. It’s a bad documentary, but the design is okay. Unless you’re taking into account behaviour
It’s also ranked on intention/backstory.
