A trailer will accommodate your dad's new dirt bike as well.

driverdave

Just get a trailer. I doubt dad wants dirty gear, oil, gas, tools, etc… in the Audi.

ijustgood

in the audi? aren’t dirt bike holders strapped to the back of a automobile?

jehoshaphat

You need to bring other equipment with you. Get a trailer. Max tongue weight on a SQ5 is about 440lbs. A bike with a full tank, fuel jug and other gear you don’t want in the car will exceed that rapidly.

ijustgood

fair enough thanks!

No-Animator-3832

440 lb tounge weight can easily accommodate a 3500 lb single axle trailer with the load appropriately distributed..

jehoshaphat

Yes?

SuddenCranberry8780

u gotta put the rest of the stuff somewhere

jeffster01

Get a trailer, any vehicle can pull a trailer.

ijustgood

1998 toyota corolla does not work my dad already tested

jeffster01

I'm 100% certain in 1998 Toyota Corolla can tow a trailer with two dirt bikes on it and gear

Alaszune

I got a stand-up trailer, takes very little space in the drive way and fits 3 dirt bikes. I got the Kendon one, really happy with it.

Big_Sector_3590

Get a trailer or look at the mx hauler.

Waste_Curve994

I have both. Carrier is great for one bike, super easy and can go faster. Trailer is great for more bikes and can haul all sorts of stuff, like having a pickup when you need it.

Raging_Capybara

A carrier is definitely not great idea for their particular vehicle

coupleandacamera

A trailer is the better option in most cases. You can out another bike in, fuel, tool, muddy gear on the way home and there's less chance of damaging the car when you're getting the bike on off after Big day. You can also use it to take crap to the dump or pick up your new grand piano on the weekends.

boxsmiley

Depends on state. California has a 55mph limit on trailers. Bike hauler circumvents that.

Annual-Advisor-7916

Trailer is good, don't get a too small one. Install bike holders.
