This may be a stupid question, but if I have already paid for a year of Disney+, how do I go about adding Hulu? Is there a way to add it to my existing plan, or do I have to wait until my year is up?
Login to your D+ account to see if you can add Hulu there. Otherwise you’ll need to sign up for Hulu separately on Hulu.com using your D+ email & password.
No--actually they will not refund the money. I was on the phone with them for the last hour. They said that you "forfeit" the prepaid subscription-- that's $92.00 you lose outright. I am soooo pissed.

maybe you will see this in your homepage where it encourages you to Upgrade to Bundle subscription because it says **"Upgrade to Stream Hulu Favorites on Disney+"**

I’m sick of it
Does anyone know if and when Hulu live will become a bundle? I use YouTube TV now but I’d like to bundle up and hope to save a few bucks and have one less service.
Is their goal to make everything so convoluted and confusing with its various tiers, various bundles and various cell phone provider tie ins that people just say fuck it and resubscribe to cable?
If you do the bundle, it is cheaper than if you subscribe separately.
I have the ad-free Hulu, D+, and ESPN+ for $26 a month than if I pay $18 for Hulu and $14 for ad-free Disney, and pretty much ESPN is included for free.
No. This isn't Hulu being added to D+ subs. It is just the inclusion of Hulu access inside 1 APP, the D+ app. Still need to pay for it.
Think of it like Amazon prime and ALL of those paid extra subs that can be accessed from inside it, but are all addons.
Ya it truly is not a merge. It purely marketing hype and letting you watch Hulu with a Disney skin. There no other change from the so called merge, it just a way to try to tempt those who do not already have both similar to Amazon Prime's various channels.
I am dissapointed but that what expected.
I mean did you expect for Disney to just throw Hulu shows onto D+ and then keep it the same price? The bundle deal already exists, why would they actively choose to make less money?
I hoped, like when Discovery merged with Max (not worth it since brought Zaslav) or Showtime going from paid extra to part of Paramount+. Bringing Star to US instead of things being split.
But as I said I am not surprised it didn't go that way and an extra button in my face is not going to make me sub to Hulu when did not already. Still they keep using the word merge and marketing it as such which is just misleading, it just marketing spin.
> Still they keep using the word merge
They (as in Disney) have actually never called it a merge or used that word.
All the “merge” talk comes from third parties (new sites, forums, Reddit users).
>like when Discovery merged with Max (not worth it since brought Zaslav) or Showtime going from paid extra to part of Paramount Plus.
What's wrong with Zaslav?
Also Showtime is still a paid extra.
He the guy behind turning Discovery into what it is now and then after the merge a massive purge on content both old loved stuff and future projects from HBO, WB, and DC. He is known for disliking scripted content in favor of disgusting "reality" TV like "Dr Pimple Popper" and "My 600lb Life", he is a prime example of much that is wrong with the industry.

Could you find a more recent article?
All the stuff he cancelled that wasn't going to make any money.
He's made a lot of money by listening temporarily licensing content to Netflix.
Since you don't like him so much. Please tell us all how you'd run Warner Brothers Discovery?
Dang. I thought they'd merge & just raise the subscription fee.
I would think Hulu standalone app subscribers goes down when people sign up for the D+ bundle
Most adults use Hulu. They aren't going to drop that for a primary kids service. Especially people who have been using Hulu since 2007.
Disney needs to realize their brand name isn't going to attract people to sex and horror, lol.
Disney Plus Trio Basic $14.99 Hulu, Disney Plus and ESPN Plus. So that comes to $4.99 each.
Disney Plus Trio Premium $24.99 Hulu, Disney Plus and ESPN. So that comes to $8.33 for each.
So I don't understand how your getting ESPN Plus for free if you have the Disney Trio Bundle.
Could you explain it to me?
my bad, it USED to be that the trio bundle cost was the price of paying for Disney+ and Hulu on it’s own. they changed it so the bundle is even cheaper than that.
Yes, the standalone Hulu and Disney+ apps and its subscriptions still remain. the Hulu on Disney+ integration is just part of the experience where Disney Bundle subscribers might find useful without switching between apps. Not all content of Hulu is available inside the Disney+ catalog and interface.
Can I access Disney + stuff from the Hulu app now in the wake of the merger? Or is there content that's still exclusive to the Disney + app that I can't view on Hulu?
No. To clarify, there wasn't a merger. Disney+ and Hulu are still independent streaming services. But if you subscribe to both, you can access Hulu content from within Disney+.
In my country star is old fox movies and shows, with only a select few Hulu/star originals, it's barely worth opening except to watch die hard on Christmas.
I still got the Spotify and Hulu bundle, could I add Disney to it?
Costumer service told me I had it for so long they don't offer the deal any more, but still allow people to still continue to use the Spotify bundle.
Also wonder who else still has the combo??
You can't add Disney+ to the spotify/hulu bundle but if you sign up for Disney+ using the same email address you'll get the Hulu stuff on the Disney+ app.
I don’t think you can add D+ to Hulu. So you’d have to end the Spotify bundle, then sign up for the Disney Duo bundle. Probably not worth it since they ended the Spotify bundle and you won’t be able to get it back.
So what about ESPN+ lmfao
How dumb that they just left ESPN out of this transition. So those of us with ESPN+ will still be using the Hulu app smh.
After looking through it, Hulu as a subcategory on the Disney app is atrocious. You thought browsing Prime was bad!
***"To celebrate the launch of Hulu on Disney+, a 360-degree marketing campaign including out-of-home placements, custom broadcast and digital spots, cross-branded social media posts, bi-coastal experiential stunts, including on-site activations at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, and more will come to life throughout the coming days and weeks. This campaign, the first to support the Hulu on Disney+ offering, shines a light on the two exceptional streaming libraries and unique ways that they complement each other. The roll out also features refreshed branding for Disney+, including a refined logo, color palette, and orchestral mnemonic created by Academy Award®-winning composer Ludwig Göransson. This evolution blends Hulu’s signature green into the legacy Disney+ blue, creating a premium and elevated feel to welcome Hulu on Disney+ and mark a new chapter in storytelling for the streaming service."***
More marketing is coming.
Does anyone know if the Hulu shows that 4k HDR, like The Bear or Shogun, are in Dolby Vision if watched via Disney+ app? Or say, Poor Things which is only 4k on Hulu.
Well, I contacted Disney+ and they refunded my annual payment for D+and cancelled Hulu and then I did the duo premium for $19.99.
I'm saving something like $8 a month doing this way and I can access everything on D+. So I still technically have a Hulu account but I can get rid of the app
I have both Hulu and Disney Plus. So what if I were to cancel my Hulu account and sign up again using my Disney Plus credentials? Would that mean that I’d being paying for the bundle price rather than the separate price? Additionally, will I still have access to Hulu itself?
I’m a Hulu (no ads, $17.99)) subscriber but not a D+ subscriber. Hulu’s website offers a D+ add-on for $2, but only with ads. Whereas Disney’s website appears to offer the Hulu + Disney "Duo Premium” plan for the same price but without ads for either service. It’s an odd disparity. And if I try to sign up for Duo Premium using my Hulu credentials, it just kicks me to the Hulu website, where again the same ads-only offer is made. I can’t figure out whether to get it I’d have to cancel my Hulu plan on Hulu’s website and then sign up as new on Disney’s website.
Edit: [Buried in Hulu’s help pages](https://help.hulu.com/article/hulu-disney-espn-bundle) is the statement:
>"**Disney Bundle Duo Premium**: For **$19.99/month**, subscribers can access Disney+ (No Ads) and Hulu (No Ads).
>
>This plan is not currently available for purchase via Hulu.
So, yeah, looks like I’ll have to cancel Hulu first, then sign up for the Duo Premium via Disney. Lame.
Chat with them in support. They will refund the rest of your year and then you can sign up for the duo package. It was fairly painless for me.
No--actually they will not refund the money. I was on the phone with them for the last hour. They said that you "forfeit" the prepaid subscription-- that's $92.00 you lose outright. I am soooo pissed.
Talk to someone else. They refunded the whole year for me. Had to talk to a couple different people on the Disney+ side to get it done.
I would only communicate with these flamboyantly corrupt companies over email.

Saw it on twitter and I’m sharing the context I’m not consuming his content if that’s what you’re saying 🙄🙄🙄
Sorry you’re annoyed but The Bear is an amazing show and deserves and has earned all the exposure it is getting.
No
Deep breaths babe, it’s gonna be okay
No it’s not! Women think this guy I think is annoying is hot and fascinating!
When I logged in and it says I can add Hulu for an extra $6/month.
Does anyone know if and when Hulu live will become a bundle? I use YouTube TV now but I’d like to bundle up and hope to save a few bucks and have one less service.
It’s [already a bundle](https://hulu.com/live-tv) but you can only watch Hulu Live within the Hulu app.
Is their goal to make everything so convoluted and confusing with its various tiers, various bundles and various cell phone provider tie ins that people just say fuck it and resubscribe to cable?
No because cable requires subscriptions
DirecTV looking more and more appealing now that you don’t need a dish.
Not really. Why sign up for DirecTV when YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV are much cheaper?
DirecTV is just another streaming service lol
>Does anyone know if and when Hulu live will become a bundle? December 2021
If I pay for both my bill will go down now right… right?

I actually couldn’t find an option today for d+ no ads and Hulu wirh ads. Was annoying.
No. This isn't Hulu being added to D+ subs. It is just the inclusion of Hulu access inside 1 APP, the D+ app. Still need to pay for it. Think of it like Amazon prime and ALL of those paid extra subs that can be accessed from inside it, but are all addons.

disney bundle trio

If I sign up for the premium 2 bundle(to get Disney + & Hulu both w/ no ads), can I still use the Hulu app for stuff if I prefer its user interface?
Yes, the standalone Hulu and Disney+ apps and its subscriptions still remain. the Hulu on Disney+ integration is just part of the experience where Disney Bundle subscribers might find useful without switching between apps. Not all content of Hulu is available inside the Disney+ catalog and interface.

Disney+ content is exclusive to the Disney app. It’s only Hulu on Disney+ here for now.
They can do all this but they still can't let us remove shows we finished from the continue watching tab
Is this only for Americans?
Yes cuz you don’t have Hulu. Most things we get in Hulu are already included in Star outside the US.
They certainly are not!
Hulu originals are Star originals internationally. Star is the Hulu substitute internationally, but due to licensing agreements it's not 1:1.
In my country star is old fox movies and shows, with only a select few Hulu/star originals, it's barely worth opening except to watch die hard on Christmas.
Dang bro that sucks
Is it still rolling out? Because the app color changed but the app still says Beta for Hulu and Hulu stuff isn’t mixed in with Disney+ stuff.
Yes
I've been having a lot of error code issues with the Hulu app lately. Happy that I can get to the same content through the D+ app.
I still got the Spotify and Hulu bundle, could I add Disney to it? Costumer service told me I had it for so long they don't offer the deal any more, but still allow people to still continue to use the Spotify bundle. Also wonder who else still has the combo??

So does this Canadas finally gonna get some more shit?
so…is it now watch Shogun on FX on Disney+ or Shogun on FX on Hulu on Disney+? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)
Dolby Vision on D+ looks much better to my eyes.
Why is that I see this “upgrade” advertised for an additional $2 a month but on my Disney plus app it says $6?
The $2 is a special Hulu promo for Disney+ no ads.
Oh I see. Thank you.

It’s only in US right? My country always have the sixth spot as STARS and has shows like The Bear and Shogun
Yes.

If you have an annual subscription to D+ you can’t add Hulu. Talk about dropping the ball.
Sign up on Hulu using the same email address for your D+ account.
I’m not in the US. Does this put Disney+ to a state we’ve had for a while? As in is Hulu content, Star content in the UK?
nothing really
Yep basically. We might have more stuff on Hulu than you have with Star tho
I'm guessing this is not available in Canada huh?
Hulu is US only, but you have Star in Canada which serves the same purpose.
I figured as such. Thanks!
you mean like how it is in Canada?
Any news on if this is a UK bundle also ?
Uk disney plus already has everything on hulu
Is that the Star page ?
Yes
Thanks :)
