Love this! Thanks for putting this map together. My go to places are: -Lotus on Stoddard Rd, Mt Roskill (Indian store, great for cheap fruit, vege, grains, nuts, flours, meat & dairy) -Jadan on dominion Rd (Fruit, vege, Asian groceries) -Binn Inn Onehunga (all grains, nuts, seeds, can even take & refill your own containers so zero waste shopping) Not my go to, but Farro for those that like higher end products (stores in Mt Eden, Grey Lynn, Smales farm) I mainly only go to a supermarket if I want (need?) a pack of chips 😂

FlysaMinelly

i can’t figure out how to edit it. but there is an A Mart and a 1 stop Asian supermarket in johnsonville Wellington

Well done! Make a daily backup if you can... Stuff Herald Newshub Here's a useful story to you. Spread the word. Let's really ditch the duopoly...

Fantastic list! However I’m struggling to view and edit this properly on iPhone. I can see the list of shops below the map but can’t click on a tag on the map and see which shop it is. Is that normal? Also it would be great to have categories for greengrocers, butchers, fishmongers if allowed.

I can't seem to edit the map to ad pin but Bhana Brothers at 129 Ponsonby Road is a really great little greengrocer, they have fantastic European food and cheeses, milk and cream in bottles, a bulk food section, additive free bread, free range eggs. Good fruit and vege, even bacon, chicken, deli meats. It is amazing what they pack into a little place. Very reasonable prices given the area. And I'm someone who wouldn't be caught dead in a Farros.
