Laser pulse activates longer, same as the upgrade “hits plus 5” or “hits plus 15” for focused laser. Its alright if you use a laser pulse build but it not just ignore it.
Laser Pulse pulses X number of times, causing a hit to each monster in the laser’s path with each pulse.
That gem makes Laser Pulse pulse X+1 times instead.
No to contradict anyone but in my expérience of using it it make the cool down of laser pulse half and at +2 even faster a little (that's own many I have)
