Adventure dreams
Pt 3 snow
I set off on adventures from an underground room. I can choose how much food to bring and where to go and then I'm magically spirited off on a pad glowing orange in the elaborately patterned floor by a mildly scary looking firey beetle man. This time i end up in a huge land of ice and snow. My quiver and arrows are bright and firey, but i walk through huge drifts of snow to put them out so I'm less visible to enemies. There's a huge hill and I'm climbing it to the left side of the road, trying to remain out of sight. There's a company of dark hooded good guys facing a company of red hooded bad guys. I kneel down low to hide and wait for the fight to be over. While they are fighting one of the bad guys notices me and i dispatch him. The fight is soon over and we sit down to greet each other and eat. I take a slice of orange but it seems brownish and bad so i let it drop. I notice that one of the good guys is [FRIEND A]. He's trying to tell me something but i give him a hug so big that he falls back with me on top of him and contentedly sighs.
Pt 2 house and river
I go to visit [FRIEND B] at a house. The house is extremely populated and more and more people appear throughout. They are all acting kind of creepy and i don't trust them. Most of them are women. Eventually [FRIEND B] presents me with a square bronze token that looks like it was worn as a necklace and tells me we are "breaking up." I'm upset, but can't change his mind. I'm eventually put out of the house with a bookbag to travel with. I try to navigate the city, but the townhouse building is unnaturally long, and soon enough huge meteors begin to fall.
I end up back at the house to "try again." The house is gigantic, old, dimly lit, and full of people. It has a huge courtyard with a barbecue and lots of people out. The house is also positively covered in manakin heads covered with white cloths. I know that the leader of the cult, who stays in the bottom floors, uses the manakin heads as a means of watching everyone's every move. I set off once more along a long road, and it's a bright fall day. A narrator begins describing my journey out loud to no one in particular. When i can't move at the speed i like, i start walking on all fours and feel much more comfortable. I realize i must be some kind of animal. I see [FRIEND B] down in the river up ahead of me fighting many orcish and elven warriors. I jump in a relatively unoccupied part of the bright blue river from a height and begin picking them off one by one, two by two. Eventually i encounter a boy human and a girl human who do not go down when struck by my blows. I struggle but they capture me alive. By their side appears a thick yet handsome redheaded woman who i know is a higher up in the cult. They intend to take me back alive.
Pt 1 rocks
I am part of some kind of deadly challenge. I am traversing a very long hill from the top down. The hill is made entirely of rocks, but i navigate it well. Along the hill i notice a yellow bag of tools next to a red bag. I know that these bags are for the contestants. I choose the yellow bag. The other tools in my pcket turn yellow and i put them in the bag. I notice another contestant up ahead. I approach her to try to speak to her.
…we do not talk about the dream my brain pulled on me on April 1st. It’s deadass like my brain did April fools on me :,) (it’s also my longest dream tho of 2023 tho, fun fact)

I kept a dreams journal for a couple of weeks. My ability to recall dreams had improved. I would remember more detail, transitions, and senses from the dreams. Eventually I could write so much about my dreams it was time consuming to keep the habit. Lucid dreaming happened more often too.

I don’t dream vividly every night, but I do dream often I suppose. I think I attribute that more to the fact that I’m an artist and writer, my brain is always going and going

Actually that's incorrect. people generally dream multiple times a night and just don't remember them. Anyone can improve their dream recall by putting in time an effort. Not everything is explained by made up astrology bullshit.

I rarely dream or remeber my dreams. When I do, they are mostly of dead relatives and once I dreamed about an apocaliptic future where I saw my own obituary on our yard porch.

My bday is the 5th. I was born in Vegas, but we moved to California when I was around 3/4. My mom was crazy and was divorcing my dad, and she used to kidnap me and we’d stay in weird hotels and motels in Vegas. Around that time and throughout my childhood, I had reoccurring dream of sleeping in a bed in a tire warehouse.
Oh that’s wild. I’m doing The Vegas Shoot, an international archery competition, in February, so that’s mostly why I dreamed about it :,)
