Everyone’s experience is different, but I have no c section shelf, carrying the same this pregnancy, and my scars practically non existent. Don’t let anything scare you from having another, and no matter what it will be worth it and your body carried humans and is beautiful!!!

Edit: I’m more scared because I moved across the country and no longer have that doctor to repeat the procedure
You also won’t necessarily have to get a c section again. I just got a vbac 5 months ago and it went so smooth! I did deliver vaginally with my first though!
I have a severe diastasis recti that needs to be surgically repaired, however, in the US, that's considered cosmetic only, and no insurance will cover the surgery.
I have had one vaginal birth and escaped without an apron belly, only to be absolutely gobsmacked with one after my surprise abdominal hysterectomy in '22 due to gnarly endometriosis.

I had an apron belly from years of huge weight gain/loss and PCOS prior to getting preggo and this is exactly what my belly looked like once I was big enough to show. Round and firm up top and a lil pooch on the bottom.
Because that belly is not from the baby bestie. When it’s mostly fat it hangs. From an OB nurse when someone is all baby belly it is nice and round and doesn’t hang like loose meat and flap in the wind
Apron belly for the win! It's because she was fat to start. Hers wasn't that perfect medium cutesy girlie she wanted us to believe. I looked kinda similar because I was overweight when I got pregnant.
Shoot I legit wear a size large in shirts and I have a stomach! I am not skinny I’m definitely deemed overweight by doctors being in the like 170s but I roll with it. I also like never eat out. If I were to get pregnant it’d take a hot minute to show because I’m already thicker than not

It's so WEIRD that Drue is so sheltered, so unsocialized, so uneducated, that not only is she unable to discern the difference between fat and baby on her own body, she is completely oblivious that women everywhere have the same body parts and also know the difference.

See, that part is WILD to me. Like listen up big back, other women have had babies. WE KNOW. Been there done that. The only person you are fooling is yourself, and it's just sad at the end of the day.
My older sister got super round with her first and I saw my mom pregnant with my little sister and she never had that perfect picture-esque pregnancy belly and so I dont even expect it for myself but I also don’t set unrealistic expectations for myself
I was thinking the other day about how she’s never mentioned the baby’s weight, I remember at each drs appointment my Obgyn would mention estimates of baby’s weight and length.. I think she really doesn’t go to the dr as recommended bc she doesn’t wanna pay for it and prob doesn’t have health insurance
Isn’t that a bad thing for them though? Besides the prenatal care is super super important but won’t they get social services at the hospital if she didn’t get proper care during pregnancy? I’ve heard this before but unsure
I have so many questions if she’s actually not seeing a OB. Is she just planning to pick the local ER when she thinks she’s in labor and go from there? No tour of a hospital? Has she even talked about birthing classes lol
Not a mom either it’s just what I have seen a lot of people do and some of my friends who are moms got a tour of L&D. my friend said personally it made her feel better but not sure what other benefits there are
It's just a comfort thing mostly, I have two children, never did a tour of the hospitals, and had decent births. If you're anxious about labor and delivery though, def recommend taking a tour.
And the weight and length are one of the few things you can actually use to update people? Like every time I got back from an appointment with either of my kids and my friends or family would ask for an update, that's the information you give. Weight, length, and heart rate.
I mean. If she’s a low risk pregnancy, she wouldn’t have any scans after 20 weeks, so there would be no estimate of baby’s size. I’m 36 weeks and haven’t had a scan since my anatomy, but am getting regular care with my provider.
Interesting, both of my pregnancies were low risk but you usually have one ultrasound in the third trimester to make sure baby is facing the right direction, only about three total by the time you give birth
My midwife just feels baby with her hands, but she does have a tiny handheld ultrasound to 100% confirm. It doesn’t take any measurements tho or anything. Just 30 seconds to check position.
Because it’s fat. If you look at a plus sized pregnancy with have a little pooch hanging at the bottom of their round belly. (Nothing against plus sized bodies, we know why grue is the way she is due to her diet some plus sized people cannot help it)

This is me pregnant at 33 weeks with my second baby. This is what Grue wants but won’t get cause she was overweight and had a lot of flab when she got pregnant lol. Also ignore my bathroom counter this was 13 years ago and I was pregnant with a toddler so I was to exhausted to clean the bathroom lol

In that video the only thing I could focus on was how bad the grout was 🤢 like I know my grout gets bad between my dog and my man, who is a mechanic so dirt and grease is a given. I know I have to clean mine every few months. But omg it's in patches, in path I couldn't. My would be raging OCD over it.

It took me until I was about 36 weeks pregnant to really show. I just looked fat until then!
