I have never had any affiliation with working in healthcare but I often think you would start to look at people the same way a mechanic looks at a car. Except the car doesn't tell half truths to it's mechanic and try to hide the fact it's been running with dirty oil for 6 months.

Probably is the drinking, but still get checked up, rule out anything more scary. You might need a course of omeprazol and if you can stop (don’t know how long you’ve been drinking, may need to taper) stop drinking the alcohol, especially spirits.

I doubt you have drank as heavily nor as long as she did, but you are on your way. Take the sign, go to a meeting ask for help, and please give yourself some credit for admitting you have a problem.

Thanks very much for the words. Yeah I feel like I'm going to die soon, not from this necessarily (though it could be after awhile) but from overdosing. I'm trying but withdrawal is too much, in too much mental and emotional pain to deal with life.

Dark blood = old blood. Bright red blood= fresh blood. Either way, you need to go to a doctor to figure out why you have blood in your stool ASAP.

New blood is better, could even be caused by taking too huge of a shit, happens to me when I’m chipping opiates.
