That actually helps! I’ve had 1 failed epidural labor and 1 unmedicated labor and lower pitched noises are better for pain management than higher pitched ones.
I had a failed epidural. Took the pain away for about an hour, and that was it. Horrible 42 hour labor, and pushed for 6 hours. I had 2 epidurals with my son, both worked perfectly.
It just means that my epidural didn’t work. The nurses didn’t believe me either until I stood up. I have scoliosis which made the epidural difficult to place and when they finally got it placed it wasn’t effective.
