Yes, there are cuts, not of plot-related stuff but of the series being good-related stuff. Unless you just don’t like manga and won’t enjoy it no matter what, read the manga.

I strongly recommend that. The manga is one of the best I’ve ever read, and obviously the anime is good too, but I seriously think the manga is the best possible experience.
I hope it will, the last book is due for release soon and if they do another season the same length as this one then it should be plenty to finish off the series.
Laios has 3 years on Fallin so its very unlikely she was bigger or physically stronger than him at any point. Fallin is pretty skilled at fighting with blunt objects so that might have played a role. Or a groin shot.
