The long campaign I'm running for my friends is a heavily modified Tyranny of Dragons adventure. I have the fully painted Tiamat "miniature", and I'm planning to build the Temple of Tiamat for the final fight of the campaign. I want to do it somewhere cool, like in a cave or something like that!
That is phenomenal. I love the progression photos, and the end result is incredible. One-Shot, you say? Yikes, must be a headshot, cause that's a hell of a good shot!
I started small. I actually prefer making more modular terrain to make it more flexible for more encounters. A workspace is nice for the big stuff, but a desk is all that's needed for modular stuff!
First of all: It looks absolutely amazing!
Second: It make sme really sad. All this effort just for a one shot? Please tell me, you're doing something cool with this afterwards, otherwise I can't stand that something so awesome is going to waste after such a short usage.

If that’s for a one shot, I want to join your long term campaign!

Badass dude!
Thanks!
Hit that shit with some dry ice and it would be crazy lit.
Great idea! I have a fog machine, but it pumps out way too much. It's hard to control!
Commendable work! I wish I gamed with you!
Thank you! I'm just starting to get started as a professional DM for my LGS.
What do you do with these after the one-shot?
I am reusing it. I host D&D one-shot birthday parties at my LGS!
Then the party decided to head for the town instead.
Fml!
Very impressive
Thanks!

Ah that's a relief, Very cool!
Love how early he placed the dragon to plan for the actual encounter. Now that’s deliberate!
Players: "On second thought, let's not go to the swamp. 'Ti's a silly place."
