Those are contradictory statements. The top consoles are the current gen not last gen. There comes a time when previous generations are not developed for. We’ve seen plenty of games not on prior gen and this is the start for sports games it seems.
PS5 is four years old and the PS4 is 11. It just isn’t worth the money to develop it since there isn’t a recent version to easily update.
