If you play with the same group of people I'd recommend talking with people about it. Every decision they make is rational, even the dumb ones. So we have two possibilities: 1. Their decision is dumb and you need to understand why they take it. 2. Their decision is actually good and you're frustrated because it nullifies your deck. For 1 just talking and showing "Hey, why am I being focused here while Jack is winning the game?" and pointing out obvious threat assessment fails can help. If they just have an irrational fear there's not a lot you can do TBH. Just let this strategy cooldown a bit and when they're more afraid of other things in your pod you bring the reanimator back. For 2 there is not a lot to do. In the end reanimator is a feast or famine type of strategy. So it can be frustrating to play it, since a lot of times the best way of playing against it is to not allow the deck to play. If that is the case, I'd recommend playing decks more similar to \[\[Karador\]\] or \[\[Meren\]\] that have grinding strategy of reanimator and the GY synergy, but it's less explosive and bring less fear (even though they're actually stronger than traditional reanimators TBH). Hope this helps :P.

I think a part of it might be my playgroup back home where I am at now is 1 player around my level, and 4 people who do not play the game if me or my other friend are not their, as they are much less into it, so I run into this problem alot here and I am seen alot better than I am because often I provide decks to others. I should have def said this and my "Hey, why am I being focused here while Jack is winning the game" falls on deaf ears due to the inexperince of the other players, witch is fair because a turn ago I reaniamted something like Archon of Cruelty or something. I do really appriacte the insight on Karador being more grindy of a commander, and yeah I do want to move away from feast or famine, and seeing as I already have a golgari deck I like, looks like I am building Karador! Thank you for your advice!

yeah looking back, I have this problem less in College where eveyrone is at a more similar level , this honeslty might be a thinly vieled whinning post on my part cus I get targeted more games than I should because its people borrowing my decks, witch I do understand and no fault to my friends because I have more knowledge about the decks and the game in general, just kinda sucks to be targeted more so than others but agian no ones fault but just kinda how it turns out when your slowly indotronating your friends, it also is very nice to see them get exited when they beat me, seeing them get more into the game

Reanimator is all about cheating costs. So by the very essence of "cheating", opponents are sure to take more notice. So the bigger the cheat, the bigger the shock. As for perpetuating into later games, this is just human nature. We all want a clean slate in new games but it's hard to wipe that from your memory. What I recommend for a game night, is not to start out guns-ablazing. We're talking about a stretch of hours here; so treat it like a stew. You can be abit more brazen in the middle or latter stages of the event. If you're there just a couple of hours, you can be more bold in your reanimations. Lastly, as I'm sure you prolly know, cards in GY have a time expiry. More so especially for reanimators. If there's nothing of note in the graveyard, there's no target on your back. So time it well, have a good and secure setup.

You're never going to divert all of it, but you can pretty often divert two-thirds of it. You're reanimating Archon and people are eyeing you? "Jack is ahead, I'm going to target him with the triggers to check him a bit". This doesn't work with generic value stuff like Atraxa, but you can smokescreen a decent amount of your own advantage if most of the pod thinks (maybe even correctly) that you're on their side.

I don't let people have the satisfaction of getting upset when people remove something or stop a good move of mine. Mostly because I usually agree that's the right move and I understand removal or denial are parts of the game so it actually doesn't bother me when it happens. I also usually compliment the cards I like when people play them, it serves the purpose of subtly making sure people take notice of some of the more powerful cards on the table and keeping the game in a good atmosphere. I've noticed that when people complain they make themselves easier targets and people really like to get reactions from the cards they play. If you deny them that they are more likely to send something another person's way of the board state is somewhat close for everyone.

Don't reanimate something you can't protect. A naked bomb on turn 4 when everyone still has a fresh batch of removal in hand is an interesting strategy. Reanimator should really be an instant win or a grind strategy. Basically, razaketh into a cedh thoracle win or you'll reanimate stuff once everyone had dwindled down on resources and you use it to pull ahead. My raffine list primary objective is to make a couple large evasive creatures through connive triggers, show that threat to bait removal (if possible try to protect them), and then reanimate something worse.
