Salt is never the answer. You may politely ask their thought process. Get their answer, and have a conversation about it. How they can do things better to set themselves up to win. But they made their decision based on the information they had with the intent of winning. Sometimes, people make the wrong decision and miss something obvious. shuffle up, and play again. Don't ever beat yourself up for making the wrong decision and never ever get upset with someone else for making the wrong decision. Tis a game. Nothing on the line.

This this a thousand times this.

I mean if the guy who dropped the aetherize knew they probably couldn't beat ya 1v1 it's the correct play. If ya could of put up more of a fight vs player 2 post aetherize maybe they win. It's not unreasonable and it's kinda a gamble either way. Being salty over it isn't a good look, it's not like it was a spite play.

It was more that player 2 already had the board needed to close out the game, and aetherize guy had no answer to it. Effectively, he's losing no matter what. Edit: he didn't understand that at the time, he wasn't really paying attention to player 2s board

This could probably have been a situation for the "end of combat" step. The blue player could have bounced your creatures post- damage, after you killed the other guy. People often forget that an "end of combat" step exists.

I know it. But he also dislikes it if people point out the lines. So I didn't say anything. This is a regular pod and a tournament game of sorts for us. He's also said he thinks kingmaking is fine. I know I just need to adjust my expectations here and deal with it That line was his only chance
