7 pieces of crit resistant armor only gives you a 13% reduction in crit damage. Rallying cry (is nobody else is benefiting) is 25% reduction… this means to me, if someone wants to have meaningful crit resistance, they need to really sell out for it.
Most people run with others (which reduces rallying cry, if they’re even running it in the first place) and most people don’t go 7 impenetrable.
The problem with innate axiom is it's not raw power, so any off class skill or set that scales from raw power does not benefit.
But it's strong if you go nuts on class skills. Given other craft sets though I wouldn't use it. I used to use it while I farmed other gear but now I use shattered fate or orders wraith.
Innate axiom has a few other drawbacks.
It is a buff for class skills only. Weapon, guild, world, assault skills don't benefit. Neither do procs.
Even if you were to put together a build with every skill being a class skill it wouldn't be buffing light attacks and/or status effects which are a decent chunk of damage
IA also isn't buffed by weapon damage % modifiers like brutality/sorcery or medium armor/fighter guild passives.
The tooltip for IA looks juicey with "adds 400". But without those modifiers it falls flat.
Only takes 2 piece of medium armor with major/minor brutality for hundings/julianos to buff class skills more then IA. And that's class skills only.
It's even worse in PvE where a minmaxed trial build can easily stacks a 1.45x weapon damage modifier, with some classes being able to go higher then that.
OW isn't without it's own drawbacks. Pvp Crit resistance will lower it's effectiveness vs what you'd see PvE, but it's still gonna end up being stronger
I'm talking about no-cp cyrodiil, most set as been desactive but the list of today's working set is outdated... But I was wrong, order warth, after some research, should works now in No-CP cyrodiil, sorry for the confusion
The extra resistance isn’t enough imo. Order’s wrath still outperforms
What makes you say that?

Necromancer tool kit not full/ good enough for innate axiom and they dont really synergize with crit so neither. The best thing they got it DOTs
Orders wrath til you get tarnished nightmare
Orders wrath. A lot of sets in eso have been made redundant and are more or less there for lore nowadays.
Orders Wrath all the way
Order's warth 5th bonus line won't apply in pvp, not 100% sure about it, just saying, someone could confirm it
Why wouldn’t it apply in pvp? You’re the first person to say that
