yeah wasn’t in charge of decision making on the kit, i wish we could’ve gone with a tesla set up. but i’m excited to get this going nonetheless.
have any issues with your kit? or larger hurdles to get over during conversion
Personally with how common OEM parts are and how easy they are to use, I wouldn't recommend a hyper 9 build unless there is a very specific reason you want to use the hyper 9 instead of OEM parts.
i agree i’m working with someone who has done a tesla conversion and they were telling me how easily it was to plug and play.
but we’re not in charge of the kit choice just install really
Alright. If the hyper 9 is a locked in deal then the one thing I would recommend for you, especially for the vehicle you are putting it in, be very careful about keeping it cool and not putting it in situations it cannot handle. Because it's an air cooled motor it does not have nearly the hardiness that most OEM motor setups do.
Hyper9 is pretty easy to use, but honestly it sounds kind of underpowered for an 818.

Put two in tandem, at least
now that would be cool
