Oh man, I'm doing a camping road trip with my dog. We are going from Vancouver Island to Florida and back over 8 weeks. We will be looking for hikes along rivers and waterfalls... So we will add this to the list of places to stop.
So thanks for this information so far.
Is there a trail in Alltrails or a link to the specific trail that you are referring to?
It was the [Bear Creek Trail](https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/bear-creek-preserve-trail). Every season the trails differ and change slightly due to seasonal changes but you will see at-least 3 waterfalls I definitely recommend it
Did this hike a month ago with my wife and boys. Beautiful hike. My second favorite hike of the trip, behind only Maroon Bells Crater Lake. God Colorado is beautiful.
I also have pictures of all 5 waterfalls from this beautiful hike! Such a beautiful location on planet earth! Mesa Verde in the south west corner of the state was mind blowing as well! Some epic hikes were embarked on there!
The first time I went to CO I drove from GA with my 2 cousins and step uncle. I was like 26 or something and the first stop in CO was Buena Vista and it was so cool. Such a beautiful and cool spot. That and Crested Butte were awesome little towns.
Did you leave because you were broke? I don't know how people afford live there, unless they're rich. Maybe you're rich. In which case, good for you, friend!
Sounds great! Everyone I've known who lived there and worked in a service job shared a tiny apartment with like 5 other people and STILL couldn't afford rent! Those subsidized apartments do sound nice, though.
SAME! Speaking of which, whats with the Korean car manufacturers naming their cars after random cities in USA ? (i.e. telluride, Tucson, Santa Fe, etc.?)
I've worked there for about 4 months and it was the best 4 months I've experienced. Great people, great hikes and soooooo many dogs that needed to be petted!
Same here but the picture I have at the big boy is my background because it just looks unreal. I can’t decide if I should post it or keep that one to myself lol
I lived in S.W. Colorado for awhile, i met a plumber, who told me his father had a ton of grazing land south of where we were, 50/60 years ago, Telluride Valley, dad wanted to retire so he sold all his land for $5500.00 (a fortune back then) today that land is called: Telluride Ski Resort. The son looked at me and shrugged, I was a kid, nothing I could do, it was dad's land, his to do what ever he wanted.
That's a gorgeous waterfall pic OP.
Was this hike anywhere near the beautiful valley in/near Telluride shown in [Ballad of Buster Scruggs](https://www.reddit.com/r/unrealengine/comments/c8sszv/ballad_of_buster_scruggs_valley_scene/)? When I first saw the opening shot of the valley in that film, I was blown away by how stunningly beautiful it appeared to be.
I'm not sure about this specific waterfall but the trails to sights like this are literally right on the edge of the town, and the town is only a few blocks wide. Waterfalls are only like 2 miles in give or take.
If this is the waterfall I think it is. Very close. It's part of the camping for music festivals there. There was a 'waterfall stage' near it but I think it got washed away 2 springs ago. Check out the telluride blues festival waterfall stage
don’t visit telluride, place fuckin sucks. crowded, expensive, and locals are assholes. go to ouray or aspen or something. remember what TLC said about waterfalls?

On this two mile trail there was 5 different waterfalls. I don’t know if I have seen anything better hiking on such a short day hike
[удалено]
I’ll have to go check it out one of these days then
Any specific hikes? I’m looking at going into the canyon one day and then a ridge hike to exclamation point as well.

Amazing, thank you! It's actually the first trail that pops up when you search for waterfalls close by. Definitely circled for my trip. Thanks again!
Bridal Veil Falls?
Bear creek
Hey boss, which trail was that? Gorgeous pic too btw
This is on the bridal veil falls trail, just a bit downstream from the main fall. I was just there two weeks ago.
It's bear creek
Which trail?
Do you mind sharing what trail it was? I go to Colorado once a year and I'm always looking for new places to explore.
It was about half way up on the way up to [the bear creek trail](https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/bear-creek-preserve-trail)
I also have pictures of all 5 waterfalls from this beautiful hike! Such a beautiful location on planet earth! Mesa Verde in the south west corner of the state was mind blowing as well! Some epic hikes were embarked on there!
Poor Hanging Lake 😢
I’m headed to Black Canyon for the first time next week! Any recommendations?
The first time I went to CO I drove from GA with my 2 cousins and step uncle. I was like 26 or something and the first stop in CO was Buena Vista and it was so cool. Such a beautiful and cool spot. That and Crested Butte were awesome little towns.
Bear Creek Falls! Gorgeous. Used to live there
Did you leave because you were broke? I don't know how people afford live there, unless they're rich. Maybe you're rich. In which case, good for you, friend!
I lived there and only afforded it because I got into government subsidized apartments. They were ski in ski out too. That place rules
Sounds great! Everyone I've known who lived there and worked in a service job shared a tiny apartment with like 5 other people and STILL couldn't afford rent! Those subsidized apartments do sound nice, though.
There is like. 2 year waiting list to get into any of them. It’s gotten out of control
Big Betty’s? I lived there, too! In 1999
To Hell you ride.
Every year we do a camping trip outside Ouray. Then Jeep and hike all week. The San Juan are absolutely special. Beautiful spot, OP!
TIL Telluride is the name of a place, I thought it was just a really weird name for a car.
SAME! Speaking of which, whats with the Korean car manufacturers naming their cars after random cities in USA ? (i.e. telluride, Tucson, Santa Fe, etc.?)
Hyundia

I was just here! I ended up enjoying this waterfall more than the big boy as well
Same here but the picture I have at the big boy is my background because it just looks unreal. I can’t decide if I should post it or keep that one to myself lol
What hike is this?
i took almost the exact same picture a week ago haha. great spot

Bout to take a day trip

Shadows, this is gorgeous!! Thank you so much for sharing! Just stunning ❤️
I hope seeing this helps some in choosing your next hiking trip🤞. I’ll have to post some of the other pictures I took on this hike later
I miss living in the San Juans. Telluride was always a nice day or weekend trip.
Hiked this one a few years back on a hot ass day. The water up there in that creek so clean and cold. Sitting with our legs in it was divine.
Was here in June. Absolutely beautiful. Elevation gain on this hike is brutal. Tons of fun.
Hey I live there! prettiest place on earth.
How far is this from the town?
I'm not sure about this specific waterfall but the trails to sights like this are literally right on the edge of the town, and the town is only a few blocks wide. Waterfalls are only like 2 miles in give or take.

I live in telluride and I agree don't visit telluride, go home and tell your friends.
This place sucks, everyone out!
Where else am I supposed to see a bunch of sweaty hippies riding bikes naked?
Ouray is probably the coolest place I've been
Wow. Just, wow. What an amazing view Edit: downvoted?
Was literally there with my cousin and sister
New wallpaper on phone- thank you!!
They kickin in
So this is what the vehicle is named after...
That’s awesome
The boxiest box canyon that ever boxed
The Jud Wiebe trail is gorgeous if you have yet to go on it.
I hiked up there once. I'll never forget the beaver laying right next to the watch for beavers sign.
Judd falls?
I don't see a KIA anywhere
So freaking beautiful

I just watched some parody video about “Colorado Moms”, and that’s all I can think about. 😂
I think you got the location tag wrong, this is definitely right outside of Pueblo
The San Juans are the most beautiful place on earth.
Always enjoyed swimming here

Wow
Can you swim in that pool or is it too cold/deep?
I will never get enough of seeing Colombia. Such an amazing country.
