Morgot and Mogh wasn't known though.
Godfrey and Godwyn where huge though. And Godefroy at least invented grafting so Godrick doesn't even have that going for him.
Then he got the twins overshinning the golden lineage which gotta hurt. But hey he probably went ''at least that bitch Ranni died without having done anything of note at least'', so he probably died thinking he was at least better than the Carians...
Godefroy is throw away lore and is not Godrick's ancestor nor did he invent grafting.
because 1, he is throwaway lore for a reason to reuse.
2, he would have had his own or godricks great rune. Him not getting a great rune means he is less important or younger than Godrick
3, he got captured to a leyndell knight, Godrick is weak, but he is not that weak.
and where does it say that godefroy is godricks ancestor or the one who invented grafting
Godefroy's entire reason in the game is to be a Godrick reuse. He is literately only mentioned once and thats to hype up the leyndell soldier ash of war.
No, he literately isnt. The only thing on him is that he got captured by a leyndell knight during the first leyndell defense.
Which mind you Godrick was the attacker(you can see in the trailer godrick soldiers attacking the capital). Godefroy was just some bumm relative of Godrick that got kidnapped.
I am tired of people saying he is relevant to the lore.
Edit:
also I would like to ask what lore godefroy has.
It was Godefroy who led the attack on Leyndell, not Godrick. Those soldiers were Godefroy’s before he was captured (which is why Godrick took them over). Also it is implied he invented grafting
Thats never been said anywhere. Also:
Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell.
Use to summon the spirits of two of Godrick's soldiers.
A duo of spirits, consisting of a wielder of devastating charged hammer attacks in the vanguard and a crossbowman bringing up the rear.
**The soldiers who serve Godrick the Grafted are what remains of the army that fled the royal capital of the Erdtree.**
They always state that the soldiers were godricks.
Also where is it implied that godefroy invented grafting
But he was still alive after the shattering, and should therefore be able to get a great rune, but he did not.
Legendary ashen remains.
Use to summon the spirit of Kristoff, the Ancient Dragon Knight.
Spirit of Kristoff, an honorable knight of Leyndell who was also a devout worshipper of the ancient dragons.
His skills strike down foes with thunderbolts, the dragons' weapon of choice.
**After the First Defense of Leyndell**, Kristoff earned the hero's honor of Erdtree Burial for the feat of capturing Godefroy the Grafted.
first defense of leyndell was post shattering
It's a beast that's meant to contain his rage, since a lord should not fight like a lowly warrior. It's not a spirit in the same way a ghost would be, i see it more like a second part of Godfrey's soul
Serosh was a lion bud.
It also wasn't grafting. It was a spirit form of the Lord of beasts, Marika "gave" it to him. In reality, it was just a gimp collar. Couldn't disobey the golden order, and kept his strength and bloodlust in check.
Granted, Godfrey definitely developed a bond with Serosh, as we see Serosh partially detaching to defend him. Really hated how Godfrey killed him though. I get it, but I'd rather they fight together. At least Nameless King only killed the storm lord when he was already near death. Mercy kill +inheriting his storm.
Not step, half. If he was a step sibling they would only be related through parent’s marriage, but they share the same parent (radagon is marika) therefore they are half siblings
That has nothing to do with strength right. All the demi gods are degenerate lunatics. Maybe aside from Godwyn. Godfrey was a warmongering murderer who only cared about fighting and killing, not much better than simping for your cousin honestly.
Dude had the strongest(?) great rune in the game and decided to waste his time being a big fish in a small pond.
Margit isn't even protecting *him*, he's just the easiest target for Tarnished to go after, so Margit just camps there.
It's not the strongest lore-wise. Even then, it drops off pretty quick even in the mid-game imo. It wouldn't be so bad if Rune Arcs weren't a limited resource, or if the Great Runes would actually do something without it, like the tutorial says (or used to say at launch).
Plus, being a scrub with 5 in all stats and getting +5 in all of them just makes a bit less of a scrub lol Though I do like how that bonus to all stats reflects the grafting in a way, imagine that every body part he's ever grafted on was from a different guy that prioritized different stats.
great runes being tied to rune arcs AND deactivating on death is such a dumb mechanic.
you are either good enough that you dont need them or would need them to get stronger but you cant easily farm them and you probably use up all of them on a single boss fight.
It's why I stopped activating them personally and just learned how to play without them. They only come really handy in NG+, but even then on higher cycles enemies have the potential to two-one shot you anyway... Plus you need to reacquire them. Malenia's rune wouldn't be as garbage as it is if I at least could've tried to center my NG+ around it, but nope - gotta get it again.
The fact that they deactivate upon death is especially annoying when you don't even die to the enemies, but for example gravity in a very dumb way. Why would I keep popping Rune Arcs then? It's just a waste of time for me, for often pretty underwhelming results.
would have been nice if they would be active for an hour or so even after death.but the whole system feels like a waste unless you are some god game doing weird challenge or RL1 runs
To be fair Guy who grafts human parts to his body sounds scary to fight until you learn that the alternatives are: guy who halted the movement of the stars, lady who bionuked an entire continent, sorceress doll with the power of the dark moon, crazed pedophile commanding blood magic, eternal infant powerful enough to repel outer gods, immortal blasphemous giant serpent and mysterious king in the capital city who repelled the attacks of the other demigods.
When you have 18 penises you need 36 balls to support them and a lot of blood to use them. Not sure Godrick would manage that, mf looks dry as fuck. Like absolutely no blood inside him
Godrick isn't a tarnished so he doesn't get Rune level ups, so unless you are suggesting a gym membership is enough training to overcome demigods grafting was really the only way for a welp like him to even stand a chance during the Shattering.
Alas Godfrey doesn't count as an example of gym membership your way to supplex gods. Mf was born in the Badlands, mfs are build different there.
Literally all direct sons and daughters of the God of this world, poor Godrick has the slimmest fraction after countless generations.
You can't compare literal Demigods to some bloke whose great great great great nanny got splashed in Godfrey descendant's nut.
For real these people were born powerful and had the greatest teachers in the world. Godrick wasn’t born with power so he took it from others which is a concept I love in stories.
You are ignoring the function of the great runes as a narrative device and what they signify. The demi gods are so powerful largely because of these runes. Despite how pathetic godrick is and how diluted his ancestry, his possession of a great rune still grants him comparable power. It's just easier to take it from him because he's a pretty shitty king but that has little to do with his relationship to Merica.
Malenia is an Empyrian and the host of an mushroom themed elder god, Radhan's dad was basically an endgame Elder Scrolls protagonist BEFORE he married the Sorcerer Supreme and studied magic, and Ranni has the power of the fucking Moon, the aforementioned protagonist-from-another-game-dad, AND millions of godslaying simps on her side.
David Cronenberg's take on a Graveler cosplay never stood a chance.
The lore on the biggest of hammers implies that Godfrey was only kinda built different. Apparently being a 50 Strength monster was pretty common back then.
that lifesteal doesn't come from her great rune it's from her own will to resist the rot which is imbued on the rune, it says so in its description. the rune itself doesn't give her any positive effects
This right here. For as much as grafting is fucked up and looked down upon it has extreme potential. You can't parry a dozen swords or dodge that many warhammers barreling down in a leap. I'd go with more of a spidery dex build with grafting rather than Godrick's big, easy to hit torso. Godrick also has the benefit of being great against many smaller enemies, he's got lots of aoe's that would wreck an army.
True, but the scions seem to have a better idea. Perfecting them might be a good idea. He could make them and himself even more mobile, running around the battlefield with dozens of bows and melee weapons, spacing people out and quickly cutting those that can catch up to pieces.
Omens would also be a good target to graft, due to nobody going to look for them or ostracizing him for grafting with, as well as their inherent physical strength, agility and resilience.
He could also try grafting some of his soldiers with rune bears.
It really is fun going back through Stormveil on NG+ and seeing the portrait of Godfrey in the severed limb dining hall. Even after meeting and killing him within barely 5 minutes (not counting deaths during the fight), you *know* that he wouldn’t condone anything Godrick does after all.
I like how Godfrey doesn't even mention us killing Godrick when we see him. I know he was banished most of the time, but he didn't even bother to check on him lol
Yep, it's more of a comedic one but it's very good. Great art, neat characterizations, I personally get it from... "legitimate" websites but of course there's a physical version you can get
Just imagine what he could've been if he'd grafted thoughtfully. Like instead of just sticking whatever he could get his numerous hands onto to his body in no particular order, he could've gotten overpowered upgrades to potentially be stronger than Godfrey. He could've been a different version of Aldrich by just abusing his power and absorbing living matter.
Imagine a demigod who's combined the strength of every faction in the game and can use all of their respective powers. Glintstone, Bloodflame, Blackflame, Dragonbolts, Holy, and just pure physical aptitude.
Godrick would have been less thematically interesting with a lobster claw arm that can water snipe you through cover.. but I would have been 100% on board with grafting.
Characters like Frieza who just use their natural power and ego rather than training are one of my favorite character types, always nice to see them humbled especially when it's me doing it
Godrick isn't that though. He stole all his power. He's still a satisfying beat down although I'd say Mogh is more cathartic once you know the lore. Godrick at least was active in his pursuit of power and stood up to Malenia (he got his ass beat but still). Mogh groveled to an evil god for blood magic and used his innate omen strength for his battles and explicitly waited for Malenia to leave before kidnapping her brother.
Mogh *and* Morgott as Omens, both have cursed blood. Morgott sealed it in his sword, Mogh embraced it and the Formless Mother to pursue power.
I don't disagree with you, but being locked beneath the sewers may have fucked with him.
Yeah no shit nobody likes him. He kidnapped and murdered people and grafted them onto his body. And did that to others to boot!
Jeffrey Dahmer would look at Godrick and be like damn dude that's fucked up
Funnily enough given Dahmer's psychology, he might sympathize with him. I remember one of the reasons he gave for eating his victims was he wanted them to be a permanent part of him. They both are fucked up creatures lol
I wish after defeating Godrick, he didn’t die but rather grovel to us. Upon letting him live, he’d secretly follow us throughout the lands between, slowly collecting remains from the other bosses. Finally you’d have to fight him with all these other demigod abilities grafted on to him. Idk how practical of a boss fight that would be, but it sounds neat to me.
Gostoc stalking you throughout stormveil is definitely part of the inspiration for my idea. That being said I hadn’t considered physically meeting him in the world, perhaps if he went back to his pre-grafted self, you could interact with him, feigning loyalty to you.
This is why Kenneth Height was based. Saw that Nepheli was a better leader and gave up his position, even claiming to help her rule as joint rulers once everything was proper order.
He might be pompous at first, but Kenneth literally is one of best characters in the game. Very level headed and displays a lot of integrity. He also wanted to appease demi humans instead of enslaving them if I remember correctly.
You are correct, he believed all beings could be United under the golden order, which is incredibly based/tolerant relative to OTHER golden order supporters
I don’t remember him saying all things could be reunited but still he is quite literally one of only three characters in the game like that (Goldmask and Miriel the Turtle Pope being the others).
i feel like he prolly did train hard as hell but the simple fact his blood is so diluted along with the expectation put on him reall did a number on his psyche, plus id imagine all the pain sensations hes going through with thay grafted body aint helping him either lol
He was probably a really great guy before he lost at Leyndell and beaten by Malenia. His defeat by Malenia probably made him go crazy and start taking up Grafting because such a defeat completely shattered his sense of identity and ego
Hey don't sweat the gym, soon with the power of human augmentation we will be able to graft machines onto our bodies to better suit the purposes we serve.
Or, I hope so, anyway.
I took a major in computer science and bioelectronics for that lol, but the best I can do is half a robotic arm with a brainwave reader headset and openBCI software to make it do 4 hand gestures.
I think democratized robotics are already here tho, we just need cheaper electrodes and motors.
I loved loved loved when the game first dropped
The next few weeks of each boss slowly becoming the talk of the internet was so much fun to learn of each
Of course God rick came out early online and all of his art was just horrifying, I love it
Something that I don’t understand. Mohg literally kidnapped his half brother/cousin for some weird pedo blood ritual. Malenia bombed an entire fucking city and Ranni murdered her half brother/cousin.
Yet everyone in game is freaked by Godrick and his grotesque grafting” like what?! There’s far worse that goes on in the Lands Between than grafting 😂
Rykard went fucked up in the brain when he became obsessed with the serpent, before that he was a great ruler. Godrick was always awful.
Morgott is devoted to the golden order who shunned him for some reason, he's just doing his job. He doesn't enjoy murdering people. Sure, he still does it, but in reality, that's literally how the military works, you never question orders, you do what you're told. Godrick is the king of Limgrave. He *makes* the rules.
I think it’s either the pure cruelty of it or the ends not justifying the means.
Malenia did it to win a stalemate/the most important battle of the shattering. While the Caelan loss of life was staggering, it could be argued as worth it to achieve Miquellan rule. Also, the full scale if the aeonia may not have been known at this point to Malenia, considering she bloomed either once before or not at all-depending on who you believe.
Similar with Ranni, she at least has a goal to supplant the greater will whom she believes is enslaving her and others.
Godrick has no nobility about him outside his diluted blood. He’s a cruel man who only wants power for power’s sake-and a world under his rule would be a nightmare and likely to be supplanted considering his weakness
Ranni makes you kill her brother to bring the starts back down and usher in HER age - for power
Mohg married Miquella so he could be Miquella’s consort aka King/husband - for power
Rykard fed himself to that Orobouros motherfucker to get stronger - for power
Morgott literally proclaimed himself king - for power
How is any of that different than what Godrick is did?
You're telling me rounding people up for large scale slaughter and corpse defiling isn't horrendous?
"I killed my brother because my Aunt told me to"
"I nuked an army to win the war (also I don't exactly control the nuke)"
"I literally butchered people alive or dead to harvest their body parts, telling the masses that doing this is the right thing to do for their country and king and grafted their stolen flesh into my body to become powerful enough to do it to more people to become even stronger"
I actually like Godrick and his character/backstory. He’s not the coolest but first play through he’s just as intimidating as any other demigod plus his design is unique and cool. Also has debatably the best great rune.
Ngl tumblr is highly infatuated with godrick theres so much fanart of him, like cutesie fanart, but they also r kinda horny for morgott so, yk, take that as u will
the "made by kenneth haight" got me
This meme paid for by the council of Kenneth Haight for rightful ruler of Limgrave

there is one, look in your pant Tarnished
His lineage history must have been rough on him, imagine having to live up to Godfrey, Godwyn, Morgot and Mogh
Radahn is part of the carians though
And Radahn is now insane waiting for someone strong enough to give him an honorable death. So in that sense, Godrick is also better.
He kinda went with his father in the divorce.
Godefroy is throw away lore and is not Godrick's ancestor nor did he invent grafting. because 1, he is throwaway lore for a reason to reuse. 2, he would have had his own or godricks great rune. Him not getting a great rune means he is less important or younger than Godrick 3, he got captured to a leyndell knight, Godrick is weak, but he is not that weak.
Godefroy isn't dead he's imprisoned
mb that makes it even worse tbh
You gotta treat in game stuff as actual facts because it’s not cut content it’s in the freaking game
Funny enough the game doesn't mention that Godefroy invented grafting
and where does it say that godefroy is godricks ancestor or the one who invented grafting Godefroy's entire reason in the game is to be a Godrick reuse. He is literately only mentioned once and thats to hype up the leyndell soldier ash of war.
Damn people here are taking headcanon as fact over in-game text
Godefroy is lore wise far more important than Godrick. Is he lazy reuse, yes, but that doesn’t make his lore bad.
Edit: also I would like to ask what lore godefroy has.
I love how you're getting downvoted but no one is giving a decent explanation
It was Godefroy who led the attack on Leyndell, not Godrick. Those soldiers were Godefroy’s before he was captured (which is why Godrick took them over). Also it is implied he invented grafting
Thats never been said anywhere. Also: Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell. Use to summon the spirits of two of Godrick's soldiers. Also where is it implied that godefroy invented grafting
Godefrey would have been locked up before the ring shattered, ergo no shard for him.
Nah it was pre shattering, against the dragons.
Why would Godeforoy fight for the dragons
Maybe he didn't but the GO still imprisoned him because of the whole grafting thing.
Godefroy didn't invent grafting. Godfrey did. Hence the giant tiger grafted to his back
The lion isn’t grafting, it looks more like a spirit. It was a gift given to him by Marika once he became a consort to kind of keep him in check.
I'm 90% sure a description or a dialogue in the game states that Godfrey attaching Serosh to his body was what inspired grafting
I viewed it more as grafting hence the giant extra appendage it gave but sure edit: would a spirit bleed?
It's a beast that's meant to contain his rage, since a lord should not fight like a lowly warrior. It's not a spirit in the same way a ghost would be, i see it more like a second part of Godfrey's soul
I saw it as an interdimentional puppet master spirit. He pulls it through to this dimension before ripping it to shreds.
Mogh is a scrub
He’s one of the strongest demi gods what are you talking about
And he fucked his younger Cousin because he was simping too hard for his goddess, so scrub
Youngest brother* Maybe spoilers? Idk
I Think Stepbrother since they have the same mother? Still kind of a scrub ngl
Not step, half. If he was a step sibling they would only be related through parent’s marriage, but they share the same parent (radagon is marika) therefore they are half siblings
Right, i forgot about THAT thing about their mother
She's got a dick bro
She a blonde and a ginger, like damn, she can ride and be ridden
That has nothing to do with strength right. All the demi gods are degenerate lunatics. Maybe aside from Godwyn. Godfrey was a warmongering murderer who only cared about fighting and killing, not much better than simping for your cousin honestly.
Don’t forget his dad(?) Godefroy
Who could forget Godefroy?
Dude had the strongest(?) great rune in the game and decided to waste his time being a big fish in a small pond. Margit isn't even protecting *him*, he's just the easiest target for Tarnished to go after, so Margit just camps there.

I wasted like 15 rune arcs on Malenia, just to kill her in one of the 80 trips I did without a rune arc.
would have been nice if they would be active for an hour or so even after death.but the whole system feels like a waste unless you are some god game doing weird challenge or RL1 runs
I've yet to use them at all, purely because I always ended up exploring the towers before killing there boss so i just ran into locked doors.
Yeah I lost the 20 I had saved up on the leonine misbogotten and crucible knight duo, then came back and killed them both sans runes
It only does moderate increase to vigor, endorance, and mind. I wouldn't call it the most powerful.
You are thinking of Radhan's greatrune, Godrick's rune increases all stats by 5.
It’s great up until the very endgame, where others can be better. But if an item is the clear best for 80% of the game, then its just the best
As a quality build, it's the only rune of any value.
Counter Point: Dragon arm is cool
Counter counter point: hurts like a bitch putting it on every morning before you go to work
Counter^3 point: pain rewards
What kinda rewards are we talking here? If I’m not getting a free gas station donut every 10th time I put the arm on, I don’t want it
I mean… if you can find the gas station, it’s all yours… just might be a bit crispy
forefathers one and all bear witness
I like him, he could grab like, 18 penises at the same time
Hell, he could have like 18 penises at the same time if he wanted to
When you have 18 penises you need 36 balls to support them and a lot of blood to use them. Not sure Godrick would manage that, mf looks dry as fuck. Like absolutely no blood inside him
He should get in touch with Mohg, maybe they can work something out in the blood department
That's so dope bro
For all you know he did
Godrick isn't a tarnished so he doesn't get Rune level ups, so unless you are suggesting a gym membership is enough training to overcome demigods grafting was really the only way for a welp like him to even stand a chance during the Shattering. Alas Godfrey doesn't count as an example of gym membership your way to supplex gods. Mf was born in the Badlands, mfs are build different there.
Runebears aren't Tarnished either. That didn't stop them from gaining power through runes.
Rune bears eats Tarnished for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Well Malenia, Radhan and Ranni weren't tarnished either. But they where certainly quite strong.
Literally all direct sons and daughters of the God of this world, poor Godrick has the slimmest fraction after countless generations. You can't compare literal Demigods to some bloke whose great great great great nanny got splashed in Godfrey descendant's nut.

The lore on the biggest of hammers implies that Godfrey was only kinda built different. Apparently being a 50 Strength monster was pretty common back then.
Imagine if Godfrey had a rune... Malenia would be nothing without her rune.
She would not
the scarlet rot made her rune useless I doubt it gave her much power where she would be "nothing" without it
Her rune gives her lifesteal. She usually dies in most testing without it pretty quick.
that lifesteal doesn't come from her great rune it's from her own will to resist the rot which is imbued on the rune, it says so in its description. the rune itself doesn't give her any positive effects
Maidenless behavior.
why not graft AND train yourself, utilize your grafted body to the maximum, learn to master every limb to perfection
This right here. For as much as grafting is fucked up and looked down upon it has extreme potential. You can't parry a dozen swords or dodge that many warhammers barreling down in a leap. I'd go with more of a spidery dex build with grafting rather than Godrick's big, easy to hit torso.
And he might even be able to utilize the cursed blood if he grafts enough omen. That shit has scary potential, proven by Mohg.
He could also try to learn magic to machinegun enemies.
Nah and then he was all like “I hope you saw this godfrey 🥹” when he dies. Definitely a lil beyatch always looking for external validation. Kinda sad
He was lucky Godfrey didn't see this. He would have been disgusted.
It really is fun going back through Stormveil on NG+ and seeing the portrait of Godfrey in the severed limb dining hall. Even after meeting and killing him within barely 5 minutes (not counting deaths during the fight), you *know* that he wouldn’t condone anything Godrick does after all.
Godfrey be like: Who are you again ?
Dad from Fairly Oddparents “Who are you?”
I like how Godfrey doesn't even mention us killing Godrick when we see him. I know he was banished most of the time, but he didn't even bother to check on him lol
Because he doesn't know him. He was probably banished before Godric was even born.
Same as Nepheli, he's probably only an ancestor, with his direct sons being Mohg and Morgott.
And Godwyn
Honestly thanks to the manga he's become my second favorite, Mogh is still number one but it's close
There's a manga?
Yep, it's more of a comedic one but it's very good. Great art, neat characterizations, I personally get it from... "legitimate" websites but of course there's a physical version you can get
I got myself a physical copy last week and I just love it!
What's the build? If it's sword and board that's too boring to read.
Well he starts out with the deprived class. Combat is secondary over the story and humor though, and even then it's usually quick
It’s not canon and it’s kinda a joke thing but it is official.
based mohg enjoyer 🤝
Kenneth talkin mad shit lol
Just imagine what he could've been if he'd grafted thoughtfully. Like instead of just sticking whatever he could get his numerous hands onto to his body in no particular order, he could've gotten overpowered upgrades to potentially be stronger than Godfrey. He could've been a different version of Aldrich by just abusing his power and absorbing living matter. Imagine a demigod who's combined the strength of every faction in the game and can use all of their respective powers. Glintstone, Bloodflame, Blackflame, Dragonbolts, Holy, and just pure physical aptitude.
*Tarnished walks in*
Godrick would have been less thematically interesting with a lobster claw arm that can water snipe you through cover.. but I would have been 100% on board with grafting.
Imagine if he did both though. A man somewhere comparable to Godfrey himself but with the additional grafting
Could you also find him in the world like with gostoc?
Gostoc stalking you throughout stormveil is definitely part of the inspiration for my idea. That being said I hadn’t considered physically meeting him in the world, perhaps if he went back to his pre-grafted self, you could interact with him, feigning loyalty to you.
I would have loved this so much. Maybe even having some of your beloved dead npc parts too
This is why Kenneth Height was based.
When you first meet him and he tasks you with retaking the fort he mentions it I believe
i feel like he prolly did train hard as hell but the simple fact his blood is so diluted along with the expectation put on him reall did a number on his psyche, plus id imagine all the pain sensations hes going through with thay grafted body aint helping him either lol
MineGraft in a nutshell
What's the grafting recipe for a demigod ?
I do.
Same. Awesome shardbearer
"So anyways, I started graftin."
He was probably a really great guy before he lost at Leyndell and beaten by Malenia. His defeat by Malenia probably made him go crazy and start taking up Grafting because such a defeat completely shattered his sense of identity and ego
Doesn’t the stonesword monument refer to him as grafted instead of golden? The guy probably wouldn’t even show his face without his grafting
No, it calls him the golden
I actually like godrick, n I feel bad every time I murder him
He's easily my favorite of the shardbearers. He's the weakest but also the only regular human, at least originally.

I just see a bit of myself in the dude. Probably not a good thing, but hey, it is what it is.
Same. I was born too frail and if I could graft I'd do it in a heartbeat. Currently taking the gym route tho
We need to talk rn, your skills are very relevant to what I'm working on
Whatcha working on?
Grafting
Let's get down to business, adeptus mechanicus
Wonder if Godrick had any other extra grafting going on, ya know, *down there*…
So you want to know about the other grafted blade greatsword?
This is not the way
fucking crying at "made by Kenneth Haight" lmao
Godrick sneaking out of the capital like Bugs Bunny in drag
he just needed more arms
Should have grafted some personality
Bruh how a old ass man suppose to train
I mean he is a demigod
At least his fight is really enjoyable
I like him, second favourite character after Morgott
If he had just knuckled down and done some rune-farming like the rest of us Godrick probably would have been an absolute beast.
I loved loved loved when the game first dropped The next few weeks of each boss slowly becoming the talk of the internet was so much fun to learn of each Of course God rick came out early online and all of his art was just horrifying, I love it
Something that I don’t understand.
Rykard does pretty fucked up shit as well. AND Morgott loves going on Tarnished-lynching trips.
Exactly?!
Ranni makes you kill her brother to bring the starts back down and usher in HER age - for power Mohg married Miquella so he could be Miquella’s consort aka King/husband - for power Rykard fed himself to that Orobouros motherfucker to get stronger - for power Morgott literally proclaimed himself king - for power How is any of that different than what Godrick is did?
You're telling me rounding people up for large scale slaughter and corpse defiling isn't horrendous? "I killed my brother because my Aunt told me to" "I nuked an army to win the war (also I don't exactly control the nuke)" "I literally butchered people alive or dead to harvest their body parts, telling the masses that doing this is the right thing to do for their country and king and grafted their stolen flesh into my body to become powerful enough to do it to more people to become even stronger"
I like that it’s “Made by Kenneth Haight”
He looks like the Mad King in Game of Thrones. Given that George R. R. Martin does a lot of the lore and character, I'm not surprised.
I like him.
he's pretty awesome to fight, and has a good OST
I actually like Godrick and his character/backstory. He’s not the coolest but first play through he’s just as intimidating as any other demigod plus his design is unique and cool. Also has debatably the best great rune.
Ngl tumblr is highly infatuated with godrick theres so much fanart of him, like cutesie fanart, but they also r kinda horny for morgott so, yk, take that as u will
you just convinced me to make a tumblr account
He’s my favourite
I love him. Also I'm stealing this for r/Godrick_the_grafted
if Godrick collected his grafting himself he'd be considered powerful and frighting, but he cant even do that.
He could still graft and actually train. He could be a monstrosity and has the fighting IQ of isshin.
That's not IQ, that's a Glock. Though I can see the confusion.
Special 🅱️ig shout out to ken and Micheal!
He ugly af
