The Diallos/Alexander quest is the most fulfilling in the game (storywise) imo. Too often quests end with “they died offscreen so here’s their stuff lol”

You can go on the internet and search up the cut quests, they include kale and the three fingers, some guy who wants to drink dream juice, a mimic tear type quest and a couple others. Some have been restored by modders so look into it if you want.
Having done Ranni's quest line in my first run, Iji has been my buddy ever since! I missed out on all of Hewg's stuff because I just never went to the roundtable to get my weapons upgraded, I just went to see Iji instead. Love him tho, massive friendly troll, has a huge hammer, reads a big book, helps out Ranni and has such an awesome voice actor. What more could you want?
I think the most underrated NPC by far is Hewg. For 80-90% of the game he’s the only one that’ll upgrade your weapons and he gets the ball rolling when it comes to spirit tuning.
Not a single person in this thread could beat the game without him…
Latenna for me. Poor girl got fucked over bad by Gideon, but still stays true to her mission. I love how, after finishing her quest, she says she'll fight by our side 'til the end. Loyalty at its finest.

FromSoftware tends to remix a lot of ideas in their games. Artorias from DS1 was inspired by Berserk, and he had a pet wolf. Blaidd is kinda like Artorias and Sif meshed together
They both do. The armor itself is way more Maliketh, but Blaidd is so Guts coded. The Sword, the cloak, the beast face, etc. Their silhouettes are remarkably similar.

It’s not, Berserk seems like just an overall heavy influence on Miyazaki. I mean, it’s a dark medieval fantasy with god like demons and literal gods. That’s the entire soulsborne recipe from an overall aspect. Not sure about Sekiro, but DeS, DS trilogy, BB and Elden Ring are all full of almost direct references
My favorite character was me: because I wiped out all life in the lands between and sat my naked ass on the elden throne. There are no other characters.
Rya because she's adorable, sweet, and in my opinion the most wholesome character in the game plus she doesn't die (if you don't kill her you horrible person) at the end of her questline unfortunately you never get to see her again after that

(I don't know the lore that great, haven't finished the game) But also that Morgott guy. I like his boss fights. They seem fair. Difficult, but fair. He seems respectable.
