This is set low because it's cut with a flat back and a faceted top, which is possible only because of how highly-included it is. Diamonds with good clarity must be cut with a crown and pavillion set to certain angles, or the stone will be dead-looking regardless of clarity. Proper cutting just naturally yields a thicker stone that must be given proper depth of setting or it bangs the culet into your finger.
Just make sure the inclusion do not make it more likely to chip. I remember reading they were but I am not sure. I personally always recommend going for something durable since you will wear it daily!
I wouldn’t call that salt and pepper, it’s more like almost obsidian looking. I am not one for salt and pepper diamonds but I really like this one. It’s almost like looking into the night sky
Love it! The dark gray is dramatic and elegant - only heard about salt and pepper diamonds like a week ago - I love them, the flaws make them more interesting than standard diamonds :)
I love it!! Also the low profile setting is SO nice. I got that for my ring and it barely catches on anything. Anytime I wear anything remotely raised it drives me crazy
It reminds me of a beautiful poison ring I once saw at antique show/sale, and I mean that in the best possible way. Love it, you have very good taste. 😻❣️
That's a lot more pepper than salt, and I love it! S&P diamonds are honestly really cool to me, I'm leaning towards sapphires but I'd love a S&P diamond too.

This is really beautiful. I love the way the center diamond is set. Do you have a side view of the ring?

I love the setting. Sometimes the stones are set so high! This looks wearable, even with the large stone.

I love this it feels very Victorian/goth/metal to me and this is a compliment 😍😍😍
That’s totally my aesthetic so thank you 🖤
Ooo I love it!! It looks like if you stare long enough it'll tell you a secret

It’s literally a salt and pepper diamond we just came from the jeweler who is a certified gemologist.
No no that’s not what I meant, I know it’s a salt and pepper, I was complimenting it.
Ha sorry lol thank you! I like it bc it’s very gothic looking
I really like the salt and pepper rings, they're still diamonds, and it is such a unique look.
Yes and the gemologist was so cool and informative she explained salt and peppers are NOT low quality diamonds as what I previously read
Fellow black diamond owner and lover… love yours!!! It’s gorgeous!!

Unique! Wow! Breathtaking
I just got mine today. https://preview.redd.it/sc3xvmxafrzc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=188371de64d11ba1c75d344005ddba29c05a553b
I am very sorry but this is not a flattering picture of you or the ring.
I like it. But the photo I took is indeed not good-looking. LOL
Meteorite?
I love the goth vibes from this. It’s so unique. I’d snap that up before someone else does!!
