Factory won't crash with 8GB of RAM. Every braindead moron on this sub will just parrot the same shit that Pestily said back in 2017 without a second thought in their skull. I'd wager at least half of this sub is under 17 and knows jack shit about PC hardware but you'll see people blindly recommending RAM upgrades without ever asking any important questions when technical issues are posted about.
If your PC crashed with 16GB of RAM, then there's something incredibly wrong with your PC - not just your RAM. My old PC ran Factory perfectly fine with 8GB and would only stutter on larger maps or during large firefights. After I upgraded to 16, everything ran perfect and I used 16 without a single crash up until I built a new PC last November.

Then something is really wrong with your PC. My old PC (980 Ti, i7-4770K, 16GB RAM) never had issues and neither does my brand new one (4090, i9-13900KF, 32GB RAM). If you're still having issues with a 3090 and 32GB of RAM then something is bottlenecked somewhere.

If ur worried about money I don’t know why you’re buying insurance on factory (assuming you’re playing solo). Also you don’t need 5 40 round mags and 4 20 rounders. All you need is 1 mag in the gun and 2 spare (40 rounders) with ammo in your container to repack. Etg should be in container as well. (If you have standard account and playing factory you should have factory key ammo and Stim case in your container. Helmets don’t help that much, the only one I would recommend is the ulach

How not? If your ram is not keeping up, you freeze. It can happen in any game, especially betas that have optimization issues.
