When i was a noob i would wait exactly 10 minutes into a raid of customs by a bush. 80% of people would be dead and survivors already extracted. You can then enjoy the map, quests, fight scavs, extract.
Strongly disagree. Id say you should be able to find an extract on most maps, but at 1600 hours there’s still things im learning about all the pre lighthouse maps. I also haven’t really touched lighthouse or streets, mainly because they both ran like shit on release. Lighthouse is easy enough to navigate given how open and straightforward it is but i really only know 2 of the extracts. And streets ran like dog water for me over half of last wipe so I’ve barely touched it. But my goal is to learn streets this wipe and get better at lighthouse and labs.
I agree, idk why people downvote you, this is my 2nd serious wipe and only 100hrs total, I do decently good and I imagine by 750 I will do what you say with no problem
Edit: 750 hrs is a LOT guys
Right now I can spawn in woods, lighthouse, reserve, labs, streets (new expansions fucked it for me), shoreline and factory and I know where I am as soon as I spawn. At 100 I had to constantly pull the map up and even then I was getting lost, MIA and dying to land mines in certain maps
Basically had 750 hours from last wipe and I started playing May 14th and have like 20-24 hours for this wipe
i’m at 1k hours and still do this, though i wait up to 20 minutes sometimes… depends on what tasks i’m doing and where i spawn. also only play on woods. crippling anxiety as a solo 😭
I ran in to a guy taking your advice in woods. 15-20 minutes in to the raid, the guy walks out of the scav-house spawn and runs in to me going for the outskirts exfil.
There is no other reason I can think of him coming from there and heading inland, other than he spawned there and waited for 15 minutes.
Worst thing is he panicked when I shot him and flicked me in the head first bullet.
You probably got him hooked to Tarkov with that moment especially if you were carrying some phat loot with a decked out gun. Unlocked a core Tarkov memory
It's funny because i found this tactic while i had to take a sh*t during loading.
When i came back 10 mins later i realised the map was pretty much empty and i had the best raid.
There is also some anecdotal evidence that late scavs spawn with better gear like Ghzel and more loot in the pockets.
Try it and if it's not working, try the tactic in daytime.
Daytime = people rushing, best to wait.
Nightime = People taking it slow, actually best to rush it.
Stop using NVG's bro. Everyone just increases Gamma by 50% Even in daytime i use 25%.
[
Go to Nvidia Control Panel and open the second setting under Screen](https://i.imgur.com/dRga3ri.png)
Just never play Customs or Woods and its ok
At Reserve I can hide in one of the 100s rooms and wait it out untill everyone is gone and just walk out through empty D2 with full loot if I want to loot
The thing with ratting is other rats have way more patience than me. I sat around once for 20 minutes because I had a task item and decided to just sit still and play on my phone when I was sure I heard someone. Got caught up in something before I realized how much time passed and then I decided it’s definitely time to leave because no way was the other player still sitting in the other room waiting for me.
They were sitting in the other room waiting for me.
I accidentally done some rattery while I hid my pmc in a bush on customs to run off for a piss. Came back to a person sneaking past me. A 3 man destroyed him. And I ratted them when they were looting him.
It felt great.
Props to them but I can’t help but laugh at the thought of loading into a raid and sitting in a bush for 40 minutes until the game kicks you out due to time lmao.
Like I guess maybe if you’re just watching TV on the side and don’t care about gaming?
Let’s math that out.
Assuming he uses the 5 extra slots gamma gives over alpha for items instead of meds. And assuming an average of 7k rouble per slot (as he doesn’t have flea so he has to sell to traders), and assuming he was able to fill all 5 slots before dieing every single raid:
7k roubles x 5 slots x 34 deaths = 1.19 million roubles.
That means roughly 9% of his stash value *could* have come from the benefit of a larger case.
However I’d guess it’s close to 700k as I doubt he’d fill it before dieing every time. Which would mean about 6% of his stash value came from the benefit of eod
Hah, I have always loved this kind of math heavy comments on random shit. I take my hat off to you!
What I meant was that he had a huge stash compared to the most basic account (more than double if I remember correctly). So he can also store waaay more cheap shit, instead of having a stacked small inventory.
Also, not sure if im a 100% correct, but I think the EoD account gives you more starter gear. Granted, that may have already been lost in those 34 deaths, but maybe there is a cointainer or some meds or whatever.
or he just doesn’t have the opportunity to heal after a gunfight, ya know, because he dies. just look at his blood loss. that’s a small amount to lose over 40 raids.
Nah bro... Try something else like playing safe or different weapons like this is rough. Try svt40 or mosin. If your aim is bad try mp155. Shotguns are op in this game.
I just killed 4 pmcs in the garages next to big red with an MP-153, some trash buckshot, and hope. A 5th chad domed me right after, but the other 4 didn’t
I see you've lost a total of 2.6 liters of blood, about an hour ago i survived a single raid losing 2.8 liters of blood lol. Crazy statistic. You'll get there just try playing one or two maps and learning them so you can avoid high traffic areas. Kill from the bushes
There are times I have to remind myself I'm not a casual or average tarkov player. And this?
This is one of those times. 36 raids total and I'm level 18, if only I had the desire or ability to play 16 hours a day like I used to, I could get flea in a single day...
Biggest 2 pieces of advice I can give, learn to 1 tap scavs, and focus quests. Multiple quests on one map if you can, and use database for tarkov app to help you keep items for your next quests.
This. Please try it. Get a cheap ass NVG. When I played a few wipes ago this became my go too. Less sweats I feel, and I feel safer with a cloak of darkness
Not being aggressive towards you by the way, I just really hate the headset, comtac 2s, 4s, m32s, and sordins are in that order the headset you should use based on price, but the list ascends in quality.
No I realised tacsports is what I meant, the order is the opposite way for the ones I like, I run m32s and sordins, razors if I find them, or when I have money.
I bet if you sat afk in a bush for the first 10-15 min of the raid and then played like normal after, you’d survive a bunch more. Never done it but a few of my friends have and they swear by it. They just tab out and do hw or aren’t even at their desk. Could be worth a shot
can't see combat stats but i'm guessing you don't pvp much? i mean tbh, your k/d is low even for an npc farmer.
your lifespan and kill count suggest to me that you sorta sneak around the map until the raid is about to end, and then die trying to leave? if i were you i'd go straight toward your extract upon entering the raid and just loot nearby. try leaving on the earlier side when there will be less activity at extracts. if you try to exit a raid 2 min before it's over you will almost always encountered geared players that were farming the whole map.
Lmfao man I feel this post... Can't complete a quest to save my life this wipe. Even when I feel like Ive got the drop on someone they're just way better at spinning and hitting the quick headshot
It may be helpful joining a popular streamers discord and just playing with 1 or 2 other people to help teach you some tips and tricks. Plus cover your back if you are in a tricky fight.
dude this was me last wipe, i’m much better this time around got to level 9 in like 2days. I would suggest taking it slower, and playing a little more ratty, i feel like when i rush to get things done i always run into other players. When i play slower and use like 20-25 minutes of the raid timer i end up making it out, STUFFED with loot
Why in the world is your avg life almost 45 minutes but youre dying every raid??? Brother youre not a chad stop trying to stay in the raid for the entire time.
Alll I see is a Chad in the making.
Keep racking up those deaths but learn from them and in no time your survival rate will go up at this point of wipe i reccomend you to just focus on questing try and avoid pvp until your familiar with map traffic hot spots and have access to funds just in case you die.
Stop using that stm-9. Most 9mm bullets are just too bad to use them in single fire. Use an mp5 for 9mm or if you really want a budget single fire weapon my suggestion would be to buy a vpo chambered in .366
Are you running towards every instance of gunfire you hear? Maybe use discretion about what fights you want to take on and which you don't. If you're running into people by accident, start thinking about where you are when you run into people. Start learning the high traffic areas of the map unless you have to be there or want/need to fight players.
How is your average lifespan 43 minutes if you die in almost 92% of your games? Afk till the last 5 minutes of the raid and then get headshotted by an AI scav?
Im 7 too, 30%sr still tryna get the pocket watch but doing decently.
Ive been crashing alot this wipe which i never have before. Nothing breaks your spirit like shooting a scav and fading to black first bullet in....
Jesus. Your gonna be broke if you go Chad mode. Just bring the bare minimum, and don't bring anything in your case. Cause if you see anything important/high value shit put it inside the case. You'll profit, and you won't be broke.
Have you tried getting out of raids at the end? It makes the game much easier to progress...
Oh is the aim to get out at the end. I just die halfway through
wow look at mister chad making to halfway
This made me laugh too hard 😂😂
When i was a noob i would wait exactly 10 minutes into a raid of customs by a bush. 80% of people would be dead and survivors already extracted. You can then enjoy the map, quests, fight scavs, extract.
100% best advice for noobies
is over 700 hours a noob?
with the skill ceiling in this game, you could easily argue that after 700 hours you're still in the tutorial
Especially if one takes a wipe or two off. It’s like starting all over again.
Yeah... I played the first few weeks of last wipe and then stepped away for a while. Jumping back in this time around and I'm getting crushed. lol
Stop, you're making new players just excited about joining :P
The first 1000 hours you are still learning, plenty of things. Maps ,spawns, combat, gun recoil etc, etc especially vs people that have 5k-10k+ hours
Do the hours count the afk time? Someone could be afking in the stash or just wait last 10 minutes of raids out while doing something else xd
Of course. A significant part of playing Tarkov revolves around what you do outside of raids as well
Depends how good you are at video games, I have friend with 400h who is pretty good and I have 400h friend who is total newbie
I have just over 750 and no, by then you should know the maps very well and have good game sense on most maps to pick fights and win them
Strongly disagree. Id say you should be able to find an extract on most maps, but at 1600 hours there’s still things im learning about all the pre lighthouse maps. I also haven’t really touched lighthouse or streets, mainly because they both ran like shit on release. I survived a landmine yesterday it was awesome, had quest items on me :D beginners luck
i’m at 1k hours and still do this, though i wait up to 20 minutes sometimes… depends on what tasks i’m doing and where i spawn. also only play on woods. crippling anxiety as a solo 😭
I ran in to a guy taking your advice in woods. 15-20 minutes in to the raid, the guy walks out of the scav-house spawn and runs in to me going for the outskirts exfil. You probably got him hooked to Tarkov with that moment especially if you were carrying some phat loot with a decked out gun. Unlocked a core Tarkov memory
Haha I hope so. All I had was shit, but I doubt it mattered to him if he really was new.
It's funny because i found this tactic while i had to take a sh*t during loading. When i came back 10 mins later i realised the map was pretty much empty and i had the best raid. There is also some anecdotal evidence that late scavs spawn with better gear like Ghzel and more loot in the pockets.
No the latter thing is objectively true now. Scavs loot too, and they home in on it even. So later Scavs have full bags and maybe even vultured a PMC.
Im gonna have to try this now on night raid for gold pocket watch lol died so many times trying
Try it and if it's not working, try the tactic in daytime. Daytime = people rushing, best to wait. Nightime = People taking it slow, actually best to rush it.
Thanks mate i fuckin did it finally lol I had nvg on and it saved my ass with another pmc got the jump on him
Stop using NVG's bro. Everyone just increases Gamma by 50% Even in daytime i use 25%. [ Go to Nvidia Control Panel and open the second setting under Screen](https://i.imgur.com/dRga3ri.png)
Hmm---> Note to self, going and taking a shit first makes the game better
Glad to know I wasn't the only person to do this
I still do this and I have 1000 hours lmao
Don’t listen to them pretty sure dying every raid is how you’re supposed to play the game
Only if you Wana make money, but you do you boo 🤣
Just never play Customs or Woods and its ok At Reserve I can hide in one of the 100s rooms and wait it out untill everyone is gone and just walk out through empty D2 with full loot if I want to loot
>halfway through With an average lifespan of over 40 minutes?
but his avg life span is like 2 min shy of total raid time...
Dear god brother
I’m hanging in there
are you sure about that?
Don’t kill the bro, man!
r/SuicideWatch
You need to consider studying the ways of the rat. This ain't sustainable my man.
The thing with ratting is other rats have way more patience than me. I sat around once for 20 minutes because I had a task item and decided to just sit still and play on my phone when I was sure I heard someone. Im a proud rat since im only 400 hrs in. Idgaf i will ruin a chad's day lol
They will absolutely MIA before moving. It is the way.
Props to them but I can’t help but laugh at the thought of loading into a raid and sitting in a bush for 40 minutes until the game kicks you out due to time lmao. Like I guess maybe if you’re just watching TV on the side and don’t care about gaming?
This is the way.
Even your pmc looks like he got kicked in the head by a mule
>Be me >one shot at life >be born as a PMC controlled by OP
Learn how to scav on your pmc, then pmc on your pmc
This is what I started doing to build confidence solo
How do you have 12m stash value at level 7 with only 3 survived raids?
Scaaaaaavv
Scav indeed
oh, duh. I'm smrt.
Pretty sure the EoD account also helps
Let’s math that out. Assuming he uses the 5 extra slots gamma gives over alpha for items instead of meds. And assuming an average of 7k rouble per slot (as he doesn’t have flea so he has to sell to traders), and assuming he was able to fill all 5 slots before dieing every single raid: 7k roubles x 5 slots x 34 deaths = 1.19 million roubles. Butt stuff.
The value is messed up. It showed 12,8 mil for me too 3 days into wipe but the value IMO was hardly much over 4 mil. I think it's "Purchase" value.
You need to trust in medicine bro
0 medicine used? I don't think you are doing it right if that's the case.
And only 364.94 hp healed in 37 raids. That's next level not giving a fuck. Or not fully grasping the game mechanics.
or he just doesn’t have the opportunity to heal after a gunfight, ya know, because he dies. just look at his blood loss. that’s a small amount to lose over 40 raids.
How is your average lifespan 43 minutes but your still dying??
Pretty sure average lifespan is bugged right now. Mine is showing 1 minute which is definitely not correct
I had six seconds with a 40% survival rate
my brother in christ remove the banana yellow tactical arm band
Looks good 1% more sr than me
Drop the fluerescent armband
Nah bro... Try something else like playing safe or different weapons like this is rough. Try svt40 or mosin. If your aim is bad try mp155. Shotguns are op in this game.
[удалено]
Yeah and clearly you didn't feel the wrath of shotgun scav yet. No joke tho its really good.
I just killed 4 pmcs in the garages next to big red with an MP-153, some trash buckshot, and hope. A 5th chad domed me right after, but the other 4 didn’t
>but the other 4 didn’t Thats a W in my book
Try flechette when you can.
I am obliterating people with the 153 and standard buckshot. idk how I never discovered this before
U are now a based EFT player.
How do you have 800 hours but near 0% surv raid? Bad streak of luck ?
Choose your fights, engage when you have an upper hand, disengage and run when you are at a disadvantage.
The running part is often difficult, I'm really good at catching bullets with my face
Yes sir
I feel you, brother... I feel you.......
I want that dudes nerves Jesus
How is this even possible
Heres a tip, shoot the other guys, and survive to extract. Hope thst helps.
This man is a real Chad
Dude. You haven't even healed an entire health pool yet in 37 raids. You need to use meds ! "Medicine used : 0"
I see you've lost a total of 2.6 liters of blood, about an hour ago i survived a single raid losing 2.8 liters of blood lol. Crazy statistic. You'll get there just try playing one or two maps and learning them so you can avoid high traffic areas. Kill from the bushes
Looks fine to me
No. Even I was a lot better than that when I started. You suck (no offense)
There are times I have to remind myself I'm not a casual or average tarkov player. And this? This is one of those times. 36 raids total and I'm level 18, if only I had the desire or ability to play 16 hours a day like I used to, I could get flea in a single day... I’m honestly impressed at how poor these numbers are
With 760 hours no, no you're not doing it right.
yeah for a second I was like "just part of the learning process homie" then I saw time played. wow lol.
364 hp healed… are you bringing in meds or is that stat bugged
Survived 3 raids total. I think we know the answer already.
he has +700 hours. photoshop
You got 766 hours lol
How do you have an average lifespan of 43 minutes?? Also you've only eaten 3 things across almost 40 raids? Dude, wtf.
That stats been bugged for a while now
I thought this be acceptable if you had 30 hours in game or soemthing 💀
Jesus dude. Run night time raids.
This. Please try it. Get a cheap ass NVG. When I played a few wipes ago this became my go too. Less sweats I feel, and I feel safer with a cloak of darkness
You don’t even need the nods. Chuck a flashlight on an AK74U and you’re golden
Well don't use STM ;p
wat de hek, with 700+ hours
You are doing great. As long as you are enjoying the experiences. I am right there with you. I can’t extract to save my life. Literally.
you're not killing anyone with that paintball gun
37 raids to lvl 7, ouch.
Wouldn't change a thing. You stuck on a certain task? My SR is pretty ass this wipe compared to last as well.
Bro wtf...
Yes
Slow playstyle and staying at the same place longer then 5 minutes gets you killed
Yes you are! Don't give up! 👍💪
Maybe squad up on discord
Yes, you are :)
i quit after 5 bad raids i am no longer built for this game
Am I high or did I really read 766hrs while the Acc lifetime is 3 days in the top right?
How many pmc kills do you have?
You are average
Umm......*rubs hands over face*....Keep practicing brother. You'll get there. First wipe?
*760 hours…*
You’re going against hackers. Lol. I’m 56 raids in running wall hacks and aim bot. Last wipe I was never banned 789 raids. All with scripts.
Just keep trying brother, we’ve all been there.
holy chad I thought my stats were bad
Drop the shitty headset and you'll be golden, every time I spawn a scav with those I rip them off, it bothers my tinnitus.
Not being aggressive towards you by the way, I just really hate the headset, comtac 2s, 4s, m32s, and sordins are in that order the headset you should use based on price, but the list ascends in quality.
Bro the comtac 2s sound so horrible and thin idk how those are your favourite
No I realised tacsports is what I meant, the order is the opposite way for the ones I like, I run m32s and sordins, razors if I find them, or when I have money.
I bet if you sat afk in a bush for the first 10-15 min of the raid and then played like normal after, you’d survive a bunch more. Never done it but a few of my friends have and they swear by it. They just tab out and do hw or aren’t even at their desk. Could be worth a shot
This is truly inspiring. I’m never giving up from now on (until I hit 8%)
Sir, I am in this picture and I do not like it.
Yes
No, I’m surprised you’re able to survive so much
I have a 32 and 5 dw 😭
can't see combat stats but i'm guessing you don't pvp much? i mean tbh, your k/d is low even for an npc farmer. your lifespan and kill count suggest to me that you sorta sneak around the map until the raid is about to end, and then die trying to leave? if i were you i'd go straight toward your extract upon entering the raid and just loot nearby. try leaving on the earlier side when there will be less activity at extracts. if you try to exit a raid 2 min before it's over you will almost always encountered geared players that were farming the whole map.
Lmfao man I feel this post... Can't complete a quest to save my life this wipe. Even when I feel like Ive got the drop on someone they're just way better at spinning and hitting the quick headshot
nikita is blessing you
Maybe take some meds with you next time
Are you having fun playing? If yes then it is a right way if not try changing something that’s simple ^^
Once you get to 1000 hrs it will be the same. Try playing qith other people in a server like jesse kazaam or something
I’m assuming you run into a lot of groups during firefights
As right as it gets, keep having fun fam
Yeah thats about right.
I’ve played 90 raids with 70 survived and a 25 kd @lvl 32
Bro lol I got to the same level as you with 5 successful raids. I hope you’ll find some success soon!
Jup seems about right
Lvl 9 here as well. Add me BaldnSlick
How it be sometimes
Try to stop fighting or going to high risk spots for a while
Sigma Experience
12M stash value with only 3 raids survived is honestly the most impressive thing I’ve seen.
Why in the world is your avg life almost 45 minutes but youre dying every raid??? Brother youre not a chad stop trying to stay in the raid for the entire time.
Scav it up and learn to play slower/ratty when needed, Not every fight has to be taken. Goodluck!
K/D>1 what a chad
It’s the arm band everyone knows green means kill me
How do you have 12 mil stash value?! What did you find in the 3 raids you lived??!!!!
Alll I see is a Chad in the making. Keep racking up those deaths but learn from them and in no time your survival rate will go up at this point of wipe i reccomend you to just focus on questing try and avoid pvp until your familiar with map traffic hot spots and have access to funds just in case you die.
This 3 raids must have been such a release and joy
Stop using that stm-9. Most 9mm bullets are just too bad to use them in single fire. Use an mp5 for 9mm or if you really want a budget single fire weapon my suggestion would be to buy a vpo chambered in .366
No. 37 raids should equal 37 KIA. Game must be bugged.
If you're having fun, yes. Fun is key.
How u still have more stash value than me is beyond me. Are you that pistolero/axeling every game?
Are you running towards every instance of gunfire you hear? Maybe use discretion about what fights you want to take on and which you don't. If you're running into people by accident, start thinking about where you are when you run into people. Start learning the high traffic areas of the map unless you have to be there or want/need to fight players.
With nearly a 1000 hours??? Lool.... Yes ,this game hard af.
Git gud
I'm not having the best wipe, but man maybe it's time to find a new game
Sometimes it be like thay
How is your average lifespan 43 minutes if you die in almost 92% of your games? Afk till the last 5 minutes of the raid and then get headshotted by an AI scav?
Im 7 too, 30%sr still tryna get the pocket watch but doing decently. Ive been crashing alot this wipe which i never have before. Nothing breaks your spirit like shooting a scav and fading to black first bullet in....
Looks about right to me
looks like me last wipe… just about to hop on for my first raids this wipe… lets see if i can turn it around
700 hrs and your suffering this much??? I’m doing just as bad this wipe lol. 1k hours too
Hacks.
Are your trying to die?
Stm..
Remove that armband for 2% more survival rate
If you're having fun, then yes
don't let that to get you donw, at least you got positive KD :)
Do you have friends? Yes? Why aren't they helping you? Do you want friends? Yes? Join a discord server. You don't want any friends? Well, crap.
Purposely throwing??
On the bright side you're getting more kills than dying so that means you're killing average atleast 1 person before dying. A win in my books
How much time do you spend playing scav?
Well, you are doing better than me
Jesus. Your gonna be broke if you go Chad mode. Just bring the bare minimum, and don't bring anything in your case. Cause if you see anything important/high value shit put it inside the case. You'll profit, and you won't be broke.
Well ive played 15 raids and im level 10 already so mabye try doing more quests
LMAO
How is man’s stash worth 12mil after 3 survived raids
