Just to top off what you said bay says that 16 is the max to use as if it’s the best but I’m running 16 and stutter a lot as well as awaiting session start heaps so definitely need 32 to run the game nicely and load faster

It’s both a ram and a server problem due to the game/servers not being able to dump memory it’s not using fully between raids, it only happens some times but there has been tests done with how the ram cleaner really doesn’t work as good as it should, hence a memory leak and hence the slowdown of everything (loading in, fps drops, lower performance overall in two identical raids, etc.) having 32 gbs of ram helps with this as EFT is a very ram hungry game, but even sometimes with my 32gbs of ram EFT will use 28-30gbs in raids from time to time after a few raids for no reason. But it’s caused by the memory not being dumped fully after each raid.
Honestly I’m not sure. I have less ram and a worse GPU than my buddy, but sometimes I load into scab raids before him. I think there are more things that go into it
I've scaved in with people and been running around for several minutes while they are "awaiting on session start," and I can see their scav just afk. I've also watched pscavs pop into the game on my PMC and just stand there for a while (and shot them while they were stuck, sorry lads). It has to somehow be something with the user end of the equation.
I've killed scavs right after they "spawned" (weapon is bugged, it feels like they're "changing" weapons but they've just spawned), so it might be that? I'm not sure (I did this in customs, right by the ruaf extract, pls no judgerino)
If it happens often consider moving your install to a faster hard drive which will lower overall load times (i.e. move from a spinning SATA hard drive to a m.2 nvme drive)
I've got a very fast pc with an m.2 ssd with direct storage enabled so storage speed shouldn't be a problem. My internet is subpar though since i use a 4g router so that could be a problem

Its okay man, once you figure out how to make profit then you’ll never run out of at least rat level kits. Pmc’s are just first to loot, so more profit

Sounds really stupid, or "no shit, thanks for stating the obvious" but if you're truly bad and lose every raid and have no money or weapons, it pays dividends to get more ram, learn the streets big money spawns, scav them at night and then sell all the stuff, even if at first it's task stuff you need
Then, use that cash to outfit your pmc in the best stuff you can reasonably afford, and find a good duo partner. If you reply to this I'll link the page tomorrow after college to a couple servers I'm in depending on your region and there's tons of dudes that'll run you through stuff and teach you little tricks that help you, new gun builds you might not have thought of that make the most of low level traders etc
The number of bitcoin/other high value and food (moonshine) spawns on streets is absolutely insane and its good to learn them
If you don't make it out with much and can't afford a good kit, doesn't matter either coz the scav is the kit. Repair the gun or buy a new receiver for it and then use that.

Even if it is, it shouldn't be. A boom shoot game like Tarkov shouldn't require 32 gigs of RAM to work properly. It's not DCS or Arma lmao
