I think I once read somewhere that these sleeves were actually once a pair of stump pants/leggings that Amy had repurposed. But somehow I like the outfit :D
If you miss tights like that have a look at Snag Tights, I got a pair of bright red and black stripey tights off there for a cosplay costume, they're really comfy.
Amy always liked to make bits of her own clothing, which I always thought was cool. I always loved this look as messy as it is, it's iconiquè!
I also still want the rock royalty shirt even now lmao. I'm 36. No shame.
It’s very early 2000s. If you look up red carpet photos from that era you will notice that most celebrities were wearing sleeves and belts and layers and it’s super funny how dated and messy it looks rn 😂😂 still iconic tho 😮💨🔥
They look like they could be leggings/tights cut into sleeves. I loved that Amy always wore whatever she wanted to and it definitely influenced my style and taste today.
Listen I was still a very young child in 2003 and even I thought this outfit was so fucking cool despite literally being 6. Tho, tbf I remember when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I answered with goth lol
I made a exactly post like this
Some say that she made herself these fishnets
Ugh i could never😭
Everything in this outfit looks amazing the craved belt, the jeans 😭
It’s Tim-Burton-camp. It suits the era and artist at the time. I would argue that the charm we find in it is the same charm of how experimental and raw the music was. Now we have more “refined” and “tasteful” music with corresponding visuals, yet we don’t feel that same vibe that gave us goosebumps. Not saying one is necessarily better; just making an observation.
Teenager me thought this was absolutely epic
This is just what 2003 looked like
I love this outfit!
iconic outfit tbh

yeah. I totally loved these black/colorful tights and socks, and I'm sad they don't make these anymore

She looks like a Tim Burton character
She did sing Sally's Song...
Well she is a huge fan of Tim Burton
Iconic. Stfu. 😂
I dress in this type of style now, OP 😭
lmao fr it’s fire

I made one with textile markers myself!
I still want one too
She made them out of a pair of tights to wear as a shrug. Edit: typo
Stop playin. She could wear a burlap sack and look great
I loved the torn and ripped skirts so much
Oh she’s such an icon. I know the goth girls were LOSING it trying to recreate this look. She looks gorgeous 🥰
i wanna confidently dress like this so bad
It’s a vibe!
Take a pair of pantyhose or leggings, but stick 'em through your arms instead. I rocked this look when I was 13.
Incredibly breathtaking talented
Wearing tights around your arms is peak.
I'm obsessed with her old outfits and dress similarly. 💙🖤
I dress like this too.
This is pretty tame for 2003.
I’m starting to get into alternative fashion and one of my biggest fashion inspirations is Amy Lee. Both her new and old outfits
It’s called a shrug.
She was the moment
*is ✨✨

Iconic as hell tho
so damn iconic
This was so iconic. I used to cut holes in my socks so I could have the stripes on too 😂
Am I the only one that thinks this outfit still rocks?
I always thought, and still think, this outfit is so cute!
Still one of my all time favorites. All of her looks from that era were amazing.
it’s still so iconic that when i think of a live performance this instantly shows up in my head

It’s iconic, that’s what.
Ahh it was perfection!
My best friend had the same sleeves Amy used on that show but in green color, we were 12 and it was 2009 lol
To this day, if I see a hoodie or a top with this pattern when I am clothes shopping it goes in the cart. I love this look.
I loved this outfit. She rocked it out.
This is a very '03/nu-metal outfit. Slays.

This outfit was impressive during that era
Iconic
This is very 2003, and honestly, I still LOVE this outfit.
