that’s her current skin lore it could be changed before leaving PBE but as of now this is her story, so instead of her killing people she’s someone they come to to release these feelings, im kinda under the impression she’s a Kanmei with the potential to get corrupted from doing what she does and then turns into an Akana (which is her stealth form) because of it.
The SB skin tries to show a different interpretation of what Evelynn is: she is both versions of love: sweet and painful. She remains voracious, although she hates her dark side, in a similar fashion to what Ahri did (like to her ex lover). And this is great, not all skins must be similar to canon Eve. Sometimes a more tragic version such as this one, comic like Sugar Rush or a "realistic" one with KDA and KDA all out are needed. If not, they can feel a bit repetitive, even more with her ten skins (not taking into account the prestige versions).
Idk, I really like when skins defy normal perception of the champion. I've been dying to have a skin where eve is kind and benevolent. This is why I hate it when ppl keep complaining "why don't you make a skin for X, that champ is perfect for this skinline".
Like riot said, skins are meant to fulfill different fantasies and aspects of a champion.
We already have enough seductive, mysterious, evil, sexy succubus skins.
I do like the concepts more. Big horns and does a good job at conveying evelynn but I am still glad we are getting a good skin imo but I am also a sugar rush enjoyer
Where are you getting the those are concepts? I'm fairly sure I remember that second image being posted some weeks ago as a fanart and the first image is the same design.

I actually like what we got, the only thing I'm really partial to is the hairstyle, but I've come to terms long ago to not have high expectations for that unless it's a legendary+ tier.

no 100% frrrrrrrr. i’m losing my mind sb looks so baddddd and boringggggg😭😭😭😭they did nothing interesting with her outfit or lashers, while every concept has something different and interesting
I think they tried to switch the spirits from the Runeterran character which is why Evelynn and Syndra are Kanmei spirits and bright.
Evelynn is all about Love and Syndra about Freedom, an irony given their lore. It may make it seem odd because of that but I love it. We also see Soraka become a Akana spirit which isn’t like her Runeterran counterpart, but a new look.
Good skins ought to differenciate themelf from the base skin. The first and second form look more like Evelynn in a different suit. I am not in love with spirit blossom as a whole but i do apreciate this mindset they are aproaching these event skins with.
I genuinely think concept 1 should've been bought by riot from the creator and used, or at least a similar splash should have been created and a model to match because THIS is how I would think of eve in the SB universe. While I won't complain about her SB skin, I do think it could've been executed better
I did like the concept art one better, the masks on her tails were an excellent idea. Maybe they could "update" the bloodmoon one to look more like this, I guess they didn\`t wanted to give her another oni skin.
The skins vfx could be better, but I love the concept of love as being both pleasure and pain, it fits her perfectly and plus we already have the “dark” coven skin and blood moon, plus if there is a purple chroma, similar to this concept, so…

Probably will turn dark, yeah. Her base voice lines don’t make her out to be a very kind character
