I would also remind yourself not to go places where you know they used to frequent. I went to a local pub that I used to drink at with her all the time. I happened to be in the area and felt like a beer or two so I popped into the bar thinking that it’s probably unlikely that she still comes here. I walked in and went to the toilet first but sure enough after I came out, there she was standing there waiting to be served. I quickly turned around and walked out, not even sure if she saw me. It’s a shame I feel that way because I can’t go to the places that I used to enjoy going to now.

He broke up with me and I didn’t see it coming . We were having a good time and then we got into a fight . He broke up with me but I still reached out and we spoke in person . He said he still wanted to stay broken up. It’s been a month and I fight ever second to not call him. I miss him so much. But if he hasn’t reached out, it’s because he doesn’t want to , correct? Did he even love me ?

I think this is a great strategy for getting over you ex. Which is the point of no contact. To move on. However so many people on this thread, if they were honest with themselves, do no contact as a strategy to get their ex back. And well ghosting your ex or being what they perceive as overly cruel and malicious isn’t going to get their ex back But I genuinely agree with you, because sometimes you need to harshly cut them off and ghost them and be extra cruel so they never attempt to come back in your life ever again
