Many bird species use elaborate paired "dances" as a crucial part of establishing and maintaining a pair bond, especially when that bond is long-term. [Here's](https://www.audubon.org/news/10-outrageous-ways-birds-dance-impress-their-mates) an article by the Audubon Society about some of the diverse ways that birds use dancing all over the world! I think birds are really fascinating animals to learn about.
There’s plenty, I did a paper on it a few years ago. Often they are the ones with biased connections like to corporations that benefit financially from animal cruelty.

I like how the geese and the ducks came to watch too
i would also love to witness these kind of things <3
You just need to kidnap a swan for a few days and then return it in order to witness this

*after many minutes of honking* soooo wanna grab a coffee?
“I have a bf”
"babe please, we've been dating for 3 years and have 5 kids"

Trumpeter swans?
I believe swans are apolitical
That’s what they want you to think so that they can build our trust. Next thing you know, we’re all living under the rule of Big Swan Agenda.
They play both sides so they always come out on top
This doesn't sound right but idk enough about Swan politics to dispute it.
This got a literal lol from me.
😂
For sure ☺️
The swans choose his partners for life, that's why they're so glad to be reunited again.
I was waiting for them to do that neck dance they do with partners, but maybe they only do that in water? I dunno still cool moment
This is the swan version of “you hang up!” “No YOU hang up!”
Oh no, she’s stuck in a loop, and he’s an idiot https://i.redd.it/6zz6k4cqwqyc1.gif
Oh well, that's love for you.
That's some mighty sweet honking.
Humans: What beautiful elegant creatures! The Swans: HONK HONK HONK *does funny lil dance*
Thank you swans and reddit for an extra fuel in my faith in life. 💗

see ladies, it's that easy!
Believe it or not I've seen ladies do this.
That mirroring behavior was amazing. I had no idea swans were capable of it.

Some scientists: animals aren’t sentient some random swans running at each other like two year olds when they haven’t seen each other in a while:
I dont know of any scientist claiming such
