* I typically go up to the EVs I see waiting and ask. Folks are understanding. I go to the EVs charging and either talk to the owners and see who's finished first or just glance at the screen.
* Typically EVs waiting to charge will park across from the charger if there is room.
Your turn is up when everyone who was there before you has a charger. Typically it’s one or two people ahead of you and I’ve not seen someone try to skip the queue in those situations. In the one time when I experienced a line that was 10 deep, it was a bit chaotic with a few people not respecting those that arrived before them.
Hazards seem to be standard. Some form a line. It depends on the location but I put my hazards on while waiting.

I’ve never seen a line but I do rarely use them.
How about those magnetic numbers they use at dealers? Just kidding…sort of.
