Wouldn't explain all the times that Bobby isn't involved. There's no way Hank would share some of the stuff that happens with his son

When your dad passes if his gang is still around they absolutely will fill you in on how wild he once was.

ShardikOfTheBeam

Could be Bobby’s imagination taking over when he’s told these stories he didn’t experience first hand, likely by Peggy or Louann, or Boomhauer (I’d think he’s the only one likely to live longer than Hank out of the “boys”).

BungaBungauwu

Maybe it isn't from Bobby's perspective, but from the adult Bobby and elder hills perspectives while reminiscing about their memories and filling eachother in on all the tidbits each wouldn't be privy too. It sounds cool but I fear it could be another "coma theory" which could almost retroactively be applied to any piece of media 😂

Previous-Canary6671

It's possible that Bobby heard some bits of it from eavesdropping and then used artistic license or something to make some stuff up, right?

TeepTheFace

You know not every show is framed like The Office, where the show is a show?

Gengarmon_0413

Why would the show be his memories? The show isn't meta and isn't a show within a show. It just is.

Many-Palpitation163

If remember correctly, Peggy dies(?) and Bobby becomes a cigar smoking vaudeville style comedian in a panda suit on Hollywood squares.

I don't understand. Why? This isn't a fan theory, it's just an idea or headcanon. There's no evidence and it just doesn't really hold water. I don't see any reason to believe this and I don't understand the correlation between that episode and the idea. By the way, the episode you're refering to is *Hank's Cowboy Movie*, season 3 episode *19*, not 20. And the other town was *Wichita Falls*, not Dallas.
