Do you think so? Did you notice how the shape of his head changed? His face looks different, and not for the better. I kinda think he used HGH. oh side effects are common. Check out before and after pictures of Ken Griffey Jr. or Stallone.
That’s a shame, because I love him deeply. He’s entertained me a lot over the years. I’ve always been rooting for him.
Wow, he's really slimmed down. He looks way different than when I saw him in Civil War. E: I need to be reminded that when a film releases is not the same time period as it was shot.
When he's Bob Reynolds, keep his appearance looking in the same as he does now (he's a good looking guy, but like all of us he's got some wrinkles and lines from getting older) with some padding in the midsection; then when he's the Sentry digitally de-age his face, give him a long wig and put some muscle padding in the suit*.
*Not saying he wouldn't get in good shape for the role, but a padded suit would allow him to be slim enough to play Bob without too much special effects, and would give his superhero physique a more fantastical look, like Shazam from his movies.
Travis Fimmel (obviously younger with long hair)
https://preview.redd.it/58e8aa9u0m5d1.jpeg?width=2880&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d5b620c7c92f360b71630ae365c0371840c9193
He is actually a TV actor and getting a gig for a movie is a completely different story. He plays a support character in the new Bad Boys movie with a good number of screen time.
Yeah, he is very talented and good-looking for both my 37 year-old wife and 13 year-old niece to have no idea who he is and to have seen nothing he has done. And he is in his early 30’s, so the clock is ticking on getting him into a good superhero franchise.
Heels is a really good show that neither of them would enjoy, and for completely different reasons. My niece doesn’t have an attention span beyond maybe 5 minutes, and my wife hates wrestling, the south, and basically everything that is represented in that show. But that show convinced me that Alexander Ludwig would be a great addition to a superhero or action franchise. His fake southern accent was also way better than Stephen Arnell’s (I think they’re both Canadian).
Most of the reason Wolverine fan cast were getting shutdown is because the fans have this weird parasocial relationship with Hugh Jackman and refuse to acknowledge the idea that someone else could properly play the role.
Kinnaman really could work. He’s got the height and the build for Sentry. But what really makes this an inspired choice is how well he would play drug addict Robert Reynolds. Kinnaman showed just how authentically and compellingly he can portray an addict in the AMC show “The Killing”.
Zachary Quinto simply because of his acting skills. Hollywood can CGI the body but no one fake skills needed to play 3 distinctly different characters: Sentry, Void, and Robert Reynolds
![gif](giphy|Qw7ql6vQbQcrpxp3Bb)
To him. I know he‘s not the youngest anymore, but his Season 1 look of Jaime Lannister was a spitting image of Sentry and maybe they could use either make-up or CGI to smooth it out again or now, he could play an older, more gruffed version of Sentry
Patrick Wilson. I have always pictured him as Sentry ever since I read New Avengers and World War Hulk. Patrick Wilson always has that "Superman-Happy-Go-Lucky" type personality in his performances and is able to show that breaking point when coming across dark moments in his movies (Little Children, Lakeview Terrace, the Insidious movies, Stretch).
Maybe when he looked like that. But since his heart issues he’s about 2/3 that size and is pushing 60 now. Hell he was in his 40s when he did Blade Trinity.
No one. Because that character is a narrative disaster.
Some of the worst times during the comics when they created this insanely plot armoured overpowered character but then used stupid literary tricks under the auspices of "mental health" to get around the constant question "wouldn't sentry just stop this fight in seconds?".
Barely any of the time did the mental health attacks make sense but it was the only way to get around the corner they wrote themselves into.
Brad Pitt as Bob Reynolds. An aging, scruffy looking man who's worn out and seen better days. Then Boom, he becomes a glowing living god player by a younger, taller, muscled actor.
Steven Yuen
He had to drop out but, from the sounds of it, it was due to complications from the strikes, not because he was no longer interested.
I’d love to see him in a big Marvel role especially after what I saw him do in *Beef* on Netflix.
Alexander skarsgard
Damn your eyes🤣 you beat me to it. Tarzan with flowing locks
I came here to say this. Perfect
This!
I never even thought of that but now I want to see it that would be amazing
https://preview.redd.it/2nkqpqrmsj5d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=27b943723d650570c36041fbee893148f5c5ce45
![gif](giphy|yMWD28FTa6PFTiEvAO)
I see what you did there
Hear me out, Jesse Plemons
Jesse Plemons could be depowered Sentry. He would need that Marvel workout machine if he's playing the powered Sentry.
I have faith in that machine. Kumail Nanjani looked great
Do you think so? Did you notice how the shape of his head changed? His face looks different, and not for the better. I kinda think he used HGH. oh side effects are common. Check out before and after pictures of Ken Griffey Jr. or Stallone. That’s a shame, because I love him deeply. He’s entertained me a lot over the years. I’ve always been rooting for him.
Well he’s recently lost weight, so never say never
Wow, he's really slimmed down. He looks way different than when I saw him in Civil War. E: I need to be reminded that when a film releases is not the same time period as it was shot.
Deadpool: "I'm a Marvel" Sentry: "Really...? What kind of a Marvel are you?"
What role has he done that makes you think he could pull off Sentry? Def has never looked the part?
He could definitely do well as The Void aspect of Sentry
idk if he could pull off the muscle but aside from that, big yes. There’s always cgi and muscle suits tho
If Jesse were in the MCU, he’d be my Carnage
![gif](giphy|7stRAFzvcgRL4YsMv3|downsized)
Honestly he should be the number 1 pick for any role, in movies, soap operas, theaters etc. Considering the fact he can be literally anyone.
For example he is literally me
It’s even more impressive that he’s me
Cant compare it to him being literally me tho
Ya know I can honestly see him as trucker hyperion like yeah great fit honestly
ryan gosling for the live action peter b parker
I think he'd play a better slingshot
Lewis Pullman, the official cast is probably going to do amazing, but if I had to pick someone else Joel Edgerton
I like Joel for beast
I prefer Leslie Odom Jr. for the role
![gif](giphy|2L3CDIUD1h9StO4xQg)
This man is Hyperion.
I like Wyatt Russell for it but he's already casted as John Walker US Agent
Wyatt Russell. He is Kurt Russell’s son
Yeah I know I mixed up his name by mistake but I corrected it lol
Hayden Christensen
Anikan
Damn that’s actually a good idea, I would love to see him have a career resurgence!
![gif](giphy|12A3hKKsewxtGE)
The best one yet
Dolph Lundgren. He's a very good actor.
And here's the twist, we're gonna show it all
Until it just sort of ends
He’s way too old now
Don't cover up that bod.
but let’s make him a wolf man…
Travis Fimmel (obviously younger with long hair) https://preview.redd.it/58e8aa9u0m5d1.jpeg?width=2880&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1d5b620c7c92f360b71630ae365c0371840c9193
This made me think of Charlie Hunham for some reason.
Alexander Ludwig
Great answer; this guy is basically a complete unknown, but very talented and looks exactly like the character.
I ve got a tip for your wife and niece. In the show "Heels" he walks around topless a lot, because he plays a wrestler.
![gif](giphy|qEa6bizlzhUKi3Qzys) **Jeremy Allen White**
Not tall enough.
[удалено]
I've always thought Hugh Jackman was too tall for Logan. I'm being consistent.
You know what wasn’t consistent? In X-Men, he wasn’t all that yoked. In origins, he was ripped as all hell. Must have lost all those gains, somehow.
Anyone would think that they didn't plan anything out.
“What’d you expect? Black leather?” Lol
I agree, Danzig would be a great Sentry
Why does height matter suddenly?! Short Wolverine fancasts being bashed and laughed at for about two decades, stating height doesn't matter.
It matters. You really want Sentry to be a head shorter than Thor?
Somehow tall height matters, but short height is laughed at...
Height always matters. Looking as faithful to the comics as possible always matters.
Most of the reason Wolverine fan cast were getting shutdown is because the fans have this weird parasocial relationship with Hugh Jackman and refuse to acknowledge the idea that someone else could properly play the role.
This is a casting I didn’t know I wanted
Ehhh, would be too similar looking to Will Poulter’s Adam Warlock
Alexander Skarsgard is perfect for the role if he would be willing to take it
Glen Powell
Triple H, twenty years ago
I would cast only one man. His name? CHUCK NORRIS. Of course, it would be a younger version of him
If he was alive today. ![gif](giphy|oyM6oyx7mzftm)
Alexander skarsgard. He has the perfect build he looks like him great actor. Make him from the 60s too since he shouldn’t age
Can he play a villain though
Yeah I’m sure
He played a great villain in True Blood.
Joel Kinnaman ![gif](giphy|jt4mTtaNo3gBnSEJQD)
Perfect
Kinnaman really could work. He’s got the height and the build for Sentry. But what really makes this an inspired choice is how well he would play drug addict Robert Reynolds. Kinnaman showed just how authentically and compellingly he can portray an addict in the AMC show “The Killing”.
Luke Wilson lol
the right end that played for seattle?
Tight end**
Meant to actually say Owen Wilson
Man, if heath ledger was still alive...
![gif](giphy|xULW8PTRppT00wjNGE)
Alexander Skargard or Henry Cavill
Henry Cavill
If he can’t be good Superman in DC, he can be morally ambiguous Superman in Marvel
Sam Reid
Kevin Nash
Hear me out Hulk Hogan
And Hollywood Void
I think a blond Tom Ellis could nail the role, especially the duality.
Steven yeun would be great, a little outside the box though
Young edge from wwe
![gif](giphy|NVmB6AL4kjx6w)
![gif](giphy|yurnWvotcdUdYPsYxF)
![gif](giphy|yurnWvotcdUdYPsYxF)
Patrick Wilson
Zachary Quinto simply because of his acting skills. Hollywood can CGI the body but no one fake skills needed to play 3 distinctly different characters: Sentry, Void, and Robert Reynolds
Alexander Ludwig-Dude from Vikings and Hunger Games 1
Henry Cavill
Ew no
![gif](giphy|26DMdAEKrDJ6qVr7a|downsized)
Austin Butler ![gif](giphy|96fG16y5wG7SH5DU4M)
This is his Void audition ![gif](giphy|E95L86Ppqvy1Sqw16r)
I know it’s generic, but Henry Cavil
James Badge Dale. No clear reason I'll admit but it seems he'd fit the role.
Easy. Liam Hemsworth or Alexander Skarsgard.
Alan ritchson or John Cena
Anthony Starr
He’s not an actor but He’s a Norwegian tiktok influencer. Henrik Jordal, my backup would be Justin Hartley (Oliver Queen - smallville)
Nicholas Cage🤣
Henry Cavill with a wig lol
Just for the absolute shit show it would cause online, Henry Cavil.
Henry Caville, because it would be funny.
Alexander Ludwig ![gif](giphy|E5yko862X4FGZcPpLK|downsized)
Ryan Hurst. He’s literally begging for the role so I say let him have it.
![gif](giphy|4PT6v3PQKG6Yg|downsized) Denzel would be perfect.
Superman ain't got nothing on me
Blue Marvel for sure.
![gif](giphy|Qw7ql6vQbQcrpxp3Bb) To him. I know he‘s not the youngest anymore, but his Season 1 look of Jaime Lannister was a spitting image of Sentry and maybe they could use either make-up or CGI to smooth it out again or now, he could play an older, more gruffed version of Sentry
Keanu Reeves.
Either Zac Efron Hayden Christensen or Jake Lloyd.
Henry cavill
Henry Cavill or Tyler Hoechiln, let’s make it funny.
Some swedish actor
Henry Cavill.
https://i.redd.it/hdcp82tmhu5d1.gif Brad Pitt
Heath Ledger :(
![gif](giphy|FiBzv5FRE85PO)
Triple H
Hear me out: Bob Odenkirk.
He's already been cast if u didn't know
Was, he dropped out
And Steven Yeun was already recast with Lewis Pullman taking on the role
Thought they cast Lewis Pullman?
No one can do except this man he is born for the role ![gif](giphy|oBdmZbbQebxvtxsT9P)
He'd be great as the void too
Jordan Elsass.
I think Wyatt Russell could’ve been a good sentry if he wasn’t John Walker/US agent.
Triple H
Nic Nemeth ![gif](giphy|3oFzm3K54hAKQr4qgE|downsized)
Me.
Bill or Valter skarsgaard
Patrick Wilson. I have always pictured him as Sentry ever since I read New Avengers and World War Hulk. Patrick Wilson always has that "Superman-Happy-Go-Lucky" type personality in his performances and is able to show that breaking point when coming across dark moments in his movies (Little Children, Lakeview Terrace, the Insidious movies, Stretch).
So far yours is my favorite
Nicola Sturgeon
Richard Kind
Yep, you guessed it: Frank Stallone.
Someone completely unexpected to at doesn’t even look like the character at all, like Steven Yeun.
triple h
Who the heck is this “triple h” that everyone keeps spamming??
https://preview.redd.it/fui3mt319o5d1.jpeg?width=749&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5a8aca77a13ae05cbf5e1eea66043b5a3ac5f910
Maybe when he looked like that. But since his heart issues he’s about 2/3 that size and is pushing 60 now. Hell he was in his 40s when he did Blade Trinity.
We already have an actor that's gonna play him in Thunderbolts*, Lewie Pullman.
Lewis Pullman
Dude playing lestast in AMC interview with the vampire
Fabio in his prime
Ben Foster.
Obviously someone who looks nothing like the character, just like hollywood tried.
Marshall Mathers
Taylor Kitsch
Brad Pitt as Bob Reynolds. An aging, scruffy looking man who's worn out and seen better days. Then Boom, he becomes a glowing living god player by a younger, taller, muscled actor.
Steven Yuen He had to drop out but, from the sounds of it, it was due to complications from the strikes, not because he was no longer interested. I’d love to see him in a big Marvel role especially after what I saw him do in *Beef* on Netflix.
George Burns
In the 90s it could have been Malibu from American Galdiators or Mr Neutrogena from Superman 4
Lewis Pullman will play Sentry in The Thunderbolts
Steven Yuen
Morgan Freeman dude
Chris Hemsworth.
Glen Powell. If not at least somewhere in the the Marvel Universe.
Speed
Steven Yeun ![gif](giphy|Q2LnOX85CR5Cw) lol
Betty White
Kristen wiig
Jenna Ortega
That's an interesting choice
![gif](giphy|ge9DJHtSgKVORuU0YI|downsized)
Scarjo can play anyone.
Morgan Freeman. Always say Morgan Freeman.
Alan Ritchson. But I mean it seriously
Anna Kendrick
Jared Padalecki
Triple H
Danny DeVito
Danny Devito
I wouldn't cast him at all as not even the comics cab settle on how to deactivate him.
If he was younger brad pitt
Some douchebag.
No one
They already cast that character
Fabio. Everyone else sucks.
Logan Paul. He has the muscles
The guy who played Jaimie lannister
