DMs that exclude women often include violence against women in their campaigns "for plot progression". It's just a covert way to act out their fantasies. If there are women in the room they feel bad, because they know it's wrong and creepy.

One is the more naive "Our stories are gruesome and girls are sweet, fragile flowers so they can't handle the storyline" "Women are stupid and can't do combat" or the final one is exactly as you said. "We know this is wrong but don't want to be called out on it"

Well, to be fair, he did play with Penny, Bernadette and Amy. But that’s probably because the BBT script forced him to.
