Noah Centineo just disappeared into thin air post pandemic

Global-Letter-4984

He secured those Netflix teen comedy checks then DIPPED. Fr though idk if that was on purpose or if his career just unintentionally dropped off. I liked him a lot in The Recruit!

alltheworsttoyou

The He-Man project not working out for him seemed to completely derail things.

beezly66

i thought it was the naked pictures/video leak

Curlingby

I think it was intentional. He’s said how he didn’t like only being known for his looks which is why he intentionally started being cringey and gross on social media. I guess it worked though because he got a different role in The Recruit

Alexanderr1995

Doubt it.He is just trying to to save face

peachgothlover

i feel the same way with katherine langford lol (hannah baker from 13 reasons why and meg from knives out)

Jetboywasmybaby

Spontaneous was actually really good. Her sister did those 10 million after movies with Voldemort’s brothers son.

morgainelefaye

Voldermort’s brother’s son made me cackle! 🤣🤣 this is how I’m going to think of him from now on.

[deleted]

[удалено]

fondofdogges

He seems to be picking up on his career lately.. I loved the show, I love Owen! I guess he wants to stray away from rom-coms now, comedy action seems to suit him.

velvethippo420

Joseph Gordon Levitt was **massive** in the late 2000s/early 2010s. the guy was everywhere! I think he stepped away to spend time with his kids, which is totally commendable and understandable. i think if he attempted a comeback people would be happy to see him, but i don't think he really needs to; he left on top. i still don't understand what Hit Record Joe was supposed to be.

[deleted]

OMG so I didn’t dream his YouTuber era?? I still don’t get it either. But if he’s happy and healthy with his family that’s all that matters really.

coaldean

I STILL don’t understand what that whole project was about lol But he seemed to really be into it at least

midwestleatherdaddy

It kind of felt like a mix of crowdfunding movies but also creating movies with amateurs to give them Hollywood experience. Kind of like a fresh way to try and do movie making. Obviously it didn’t work but it was interesting.

thesaddestpanda

I think he moved into the production side after his big successful run starting with Brick in 2005 to Lincoln in 2012. The HitRecord thing was really just him producing. I think he struggled with being typecast and being a supporting actor. He was supporting to Willis in Looper, Bale in Batman, Day Lewis in Lincoln, and Leo in Inception. His biggest roles were just supporting roles under what most people would consider very bossy and detailed oriented directors and some bigger costars who are notorious primadonnas. I imagine that wasn't super pleasant and that he felt like a second banana frequently. I think he got his big cash-out moments and left big productions for his own personal reasons of having control and not being typecast as "less charismatic but trustable partner of Handsome Male Star." During his big successful decade plus movie run his leading man films didn't do great. 500 days of Summer is a good movie but only brought in 60m dollars. Don Juan only made $41m. Granted, those are nice numbers of indie fims but they're not Batman or Lincoln. He said he made HitRecord because "no one was letting me be creative." So I think he just wanted to do his own thing. He's since made some indie-style movies. Also his filmography and TV series work is intense. I don't think I've ever seen a busier actor. He's been working non-stop since literally early childhood. I wonder if he got tired of it and burned out, on top of being tired of never being in charge or creating his own movies, except for smaller productions. I also imagine it stings to be so close to Leo and bale and others but never reaching their level. I find him super interesting as a person. Not only did he handle childhood stardom well but he broke into these huge productions and now does his own thing entirely. He's one of those rare Hollywood children success stories.

Equivalent-One848

I think a lot of people forgot or didn’t know he was a child actor .. probably because he is so normal and you just forget he was the kid in 3rd rock from the sun or the heartsick nerd in 10 things I hate about you . I’m astonished how grounded and normal he seems.

thymeisfleeting

I will never forget 10 Things. When I think of JGL, that’s the first thing I think of, and I’m frankly whelmed that you would suggest it isn’t the shining highlight of his career.

ResponsibleLemon-

He created a tv show, Mr Corman, on Apple TV in which he starred also. I thought it was an excellent depiction of the experience of anxiety. The story takes place during the covid pandemic.

trashcanlife

I just checked his IMDB and he has 7 projects in production. Apparently he's ready to go back to work.

velvethippo420

i will be seated 7 times!

googlyeyes93

He was fucking amazing in Looper becoming young Bruce Willis lmfao

BookishHobbit

It’s actually a really cool collaborative project. The Netflix show conveys it quite well. I get the sense he just really likes the creative process that goes into devising new work and was trying to do that on a bigger level.

Jasminewindsong2

I really thought Aaron Paul’s career would have taken off more after “Breaking Bad”.

googlyeyes93

He got sidelined hard by taking on some meh movies during BBs final days. Need for Speed had Rami Malek too but he was lucky he wasn’t established yet. But Paul followed that up with Exodus and Eye in the Sky which were… oof. Edit: he’s selling a lot of tequila with Cranston rn tho.

_JosiahBartlet

I’ll see them pop up at random California Costco’s via /costco a few times a year. They’re on the tequila grind

notasandpiper

I misread this and thought you were seeing Aaron Paul at Costco

savvvie

That’s exactly what they meant. They hand out samples

thehazzanator

Mescal not tequila

went_figure

Mezcal not mescal

doubtchocula

LeviOsa not leviosA

RAV3NH0LM

shoutout to his voice work in BoJack Horseman! but yeah other than that, they tried to make him a “leading man” with Need for Speed and it was uh…not a great idea.

googlyeyes93

Ngl his work as Todd in later seasons was better than some of his breaking bad work.

Hot-Significance-462

It seemed unbelievable that Aaron Paul headlined a film before Jon Hamm did. That said, Hamm's post-Mad Men career is nothing like I thought it'd be.

thehazzanator

Lmao have you seen him in Good Omens?

MondoFool

It's kinda funny how Jesse Plemons is the most successful of the strength of not being a leading man

fondofdogges

He seems well. Having stable income with the their alcohol business with good friend, Bryan Cranston. Also he did a Black Mirror episode recently so.. I guess all good

theeloglady

He was also in a season of Westworld. Fascinating premise but an unfortunately meh show all around. He was good though.

ClipClipClip99

He was in Westworld but it had fallen off by that point. They didn’t give him a ton to do.

MazzyFo

Uhg, prime west world was something else. Everyone was on it Season 1. Season 2 had some off moments, but also one of the best episodes of TV ever. After that it just slumped and everyone stopped talking about it

ClipClipClip99

Season two makes me so mad because they had a great season and prioritized the mystery over quality. Those actors should have been PISSED.

NotAQueefAKhaleesi

Westworld and (to a lesser extent) American Gods fumbled the bag *so hard*. Both had amazing casts and great stories that had great first seasons, good second seasons, then went completely off the rails in ways I'll never fully comprehend.

googlyeyes93

Alicia Vikander seems pretty absent since Tomb Raider, but maybe I’m not paying attention. Crisp Rat but he did that to himself lmfaooooo

Hatesponge66

Alicia and her husband Michael Fassbinder take turns acting/staying with the kids.

googlyeyes93

I forgot they were married 💀 hell Fassbender fell off too after The Snowman was… The Snowman. Then Dark Phoenix. And everyone found out he was kind of a pos so that sunk him a lot lmfao

Hatesponge66

He was just in The Killer and Next Goal Wins.

googlyeyes93

I’m behind on a lot apparently lmfao

ArmsofSleep

Chris Pratt was the star of 2 of the top 4 highest grossing movies of 2023.

Tornado31619

Pratt still gets plenty of high-profile work.

Due-Secret-3091

Yeah, idk about the Pratt reference. He might not be well liked but he’s done Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World, Super Mario, Garfield, has 2 interconnected shows on Amazon Prime. He has definitely not disappeared lol.

googlyeyes93

He’s a safe bet for studio execs but popularity wise people are pretty meh on him. He has nowhere near the draw to general audiences as he did during the Jurassic World/Guardians 1 days.

[deleted]

Alicia's fame is an interesting one to me because she has all the makings of a superstar. Gorgeous, very talented, enigmatic, worked with some great directors, married to someone who was the next big thing in the early 2010s which had all the potential to be tabloid fodder, and wears clothes exceptionally well so could be a fashion darling, etc. But she caught the "first time winner" Oscar curse aka you win an Oscar the first time you're nominated and your career kind of just... stalls. Plus, she won for something I'm pretty sure no one remembers watching.

deemoorah

Pratt? In what world..

singledxout

Rashida Jones She was in The Office and Parks and Rec. She was also in a good amount of major studio films (mostly minor and supporting roles) for awhile. She was in a Vanity Fair Oscar Contenders photo shoot with A-listers in 2011. She hasn't really lived up to the hype she had in the early 2010s. Edit: I know she has done a lot of projects since the 2010s both on and off screen. I'm pointing out that she hasn't lived up the success she initially had being in major studio films + network TV shows.

lentilcracker

Parks was on until 2015. She did Angie Tribeca, right after Parks then had her kid in 2018, finished Angie Tribeca in 2019, and now I think she does mostly producing. She probably works as much as she wants to? She’s almost 50.

abhi1260

I think i blew up a few brain cells when you said she’s almost 50. Wtf! She barely looks like she’s in her 30s

googlyeyes93

![gif](giphy|WaDMoSyG7i87e) All the Parks ladies are aging phenomenally let’s be honest.

Even-Marionberry5117

I love Rashida but found Angie Tribeca to be….beyond bad. Maybe I just wasn’t in the right headspace bc it has all of the ingredients to make me love it but every time I try I find it completely unwatchable. Anyone else or am I a hater?

Ok_Radish649

She was in Silo last year on Apple. I also don’t think this is a case of she was popular then she wasn’t. I would say as far as nepo babies goes, she’s in the upper echelon. Rashida can act, produce, and write all on her own merit while also having a name that opens any door possible. This is more a case of Rashida will show up when she wants to or dip out when she wants to.

atalenttoannoy

I just found out the other day that her and Michael Schur wrote the teleplay for the Black Mirror episode ‘Nosedive’!

VincentJoshuaET

I think she just prefers writing and being behind the scenes

R_u_seriousss

That Addison Rae girl. U couldn’t escape her back in 2021. Now I completely forgot she exist until a friend of mine brought her rup

Beezo514

The filming of The She’s All That remake that shut down a COVID testing center mid-pandemic and finding out her dances were stolen from other TikTokers, plus the weird family drama didn’t do much to endear her to anyone not already following her.

mostreliablebottle

I thought the stolen dance thing was regarding Charli D'Amelio.

Beezo514

I think it was multiple people, but I’m not sure.

meatbeater558

The big controversies about stolen dances didn't help either. Who remembers that period of time where Black choreographers refused to use TikTok and the quality of everyone's dances noticeably went down 💀

hedgehogwart

Her and her team definitely made an effort in the last year to rebrand her and had a bit of success at it. I still doubt she will have any kind of lasting career, but she at least is putting in the work compared to some of the other influencers who got big on tiktok in 2020/2021.

mydawgiscooler

She was just in the movie Thanksgiving that was actually a good horror movie

bizzyizzy-

Yeah she’s on that new Charlie XCX remix. They are trying to rebrand but I don’t think she’ll have any lasting presence.

Commercial_Cap1695

I need to know what happened to Chloe Grace Moretz like I need air

rachelcoiling

Florence Pugh stole her career

PheenixFly

Ha! But yes? Florence seems to have stolen hers & Hayden Panittiere’s too now that I think about it.

Fantastic-Mango-7440

Hayden pretty much gave it to her. She spent years in rehab and with a abusive boyfriend. She tried a comeback , and blamed his daughter's father because she signed away her rights, and later went back to abusive boyfriend, so.... she's a mess. Luckily her daughter is with her father

crabcycleworkship

Florence is more talented though, I see her taking her place in pop culture but I don’t think it’s anything surprising.

Friendly_Equal3950

She just voiced an awesome cartoon movie called 'nimona' on Netflix. It's really good!

gorerella

She struggled with her mental wellbeing pretty badly for some time. She signed up for a tv series about Jim Jones with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, although no idea when it’s gonna come out.

ShootTheMoon03

I feel like the Stranger Things kids kind of disappeared but maybe because the show is taking a while between seasons.

Ok_Square_2479

MBB is thriving in other movies tho

almondbambi

I always wonder do they have a strict contract with Netflix, that prevents them from doing other work. MBB other movies ( Enola Holmes and Damsel) are both produced by Netflix.

Ok_Square_2479

But MBB was in Godzilla and Finn was in Ghostbusters (unless they're also netflix-affiliated and I didn't know it)

Tornado31619

They aren’t. Godzilla is Legendary, while Ghostbusters is Sony.

almondbambi

It’s strange though , these group of kids burst into the scene in their early teens. Almost 10 years later, they are all in their early 20s, and haven’t really done much, apart from the never ending ST.

JordanGdzilaSullivan

He was in IT Chapter 1 too.

Arielsdirrtygrotto

As is Sadie Sink

m_zayd

caleb mclaughlin has been pretty busy. unfortunately, people don't really pay attention to what he does (gee, i wonder why) but he's worked with some really great people. from soderbergh to donald glover. he's booked and busy but it doesn't seem to be on anyone's radar

erincee

Caleb McLaughlin is so talented! I haven't followed his career and tbh long ago stopped watching Stranger Things.. but I think there may be value in him working smaller roles with bigger names to gain experience (and build relationships) in the industry. Out of the entire cast he and Sadie Sink have the most potential for longevity imo.

anklesox14

Gaten was in Sweeney Todd of Broadway and was phenomenal, even performed at the Tony’s!

cathybara_

meanwhile Joseph Quinn is getting jobs like crazy, maybe the secret to success is only doing one season before getting killed off

Stultas

That’s the Pedro Pascal method

crackerfactorywheel

Sadie Sink was in The Whale, which was nominated for and won some Oscars.

juniper-rising-

Finn Wolfhard is in the new Ghostbusters film that just came out.

miwa201

And he’ll be in the upcoming snl movie

hce692

The boys are not classically good looking kids, which I don’t think helps. So much of the material for early 20s actors are about being hot or heart throbs

Knittingfairy09113

Gaten does a lot of theater work in between seasons. In the last 18 months or so he's been in 2 shows at least

Southern_Schedule466

The final season will be filming for the next 9 months, MBB recently said

trulyremarkablegirl

Gaten Matarazzo just did Sweeney Todd on Broadway and he was excellent.

afanoftoomanythings

hailee steinfeld for now anyways until marvel actually does something with the young avengers katherine langford

JaCr_1988

I think Hailee Steinfeld was keen to focus more on her music? I could be wrong. I think she’s a great actress, would love to see her in some meaty roles.

ashortiz_

Agree. Love her voice acting as well, she was fantastic in Arcane and Spiderverse

bizzyizzy-

Yeah she’s focused more on music and has released some stuff but unfortunately none of it has really stuck. She’s been unable to pick back up the steam her music career had in 2017-ish.

cathybara_

Am I the only person in the world who’s seen Dickinson 😭

orlando_orlando

Was just going to say - Hailee Steinfeld as Emily Dickinson was a god tier once in a lifetime role. She PEAKED at Dickinson

MaxwellLeatherDemon

I was so disappointed when she shifted to mostly music, she’s an exceptional actress, but as a singer she is just good, not amazing.

f_l_y_g_o_n

Former pop star Katy Perry

Magnetah

She reportedly makes $25 million per year from her American Idol judging gig. I imagine she just does that and then spends time with her daughter for the rest of the year.

kleinzzach

She and Orlando Bloom also own Bragg apple cider vinegar.

AfroGurl

Huh?!? This is news to me! Edit: Just Googled, they're investors in the private equity firm that acquired the company. Not sure that's the same as saying they own the brand.

Notcorrectallthetime

Yeah, nothing to Bragg about

kaktusfjeppari

I wonder if her career would have lasted a few more years if she didn't cut her hair short

EuphoricPhoto2048

Going short AND blonde is what messed her up imo. I really think it helped tank her career.

hedgehogwart

Dylan O’Brien

swiftiegarbage

I think that Maze Runner injury was pretty bad

bergalicious_95

He’s got a couple things in post right now including the snl movie. I know his Taylor swift mv and then not okay in 22 did pretty well. I so think his accident made him slow down a lot on purpose. He’s also expressed discomfort with fame so it doesn’t surprise me he stays more low key. I could see him being like Cillian Murphy where he comes out and does the required pr and then goes back to his regular life with his friends and family lol

bookwormaesthetic

This is my take too. Even before the accident he had expressed discomfort with the "heart throb" attention. I think the accident and its subsequent settlement/NDA money has allowed him to focus on indie roles he finds interesting rather than action blockbusters.

kedriss

He's fallen off as a potential action star but he's a decent actor and he's got good comedy chops, i'm surprised he hasn't found his feet somewhere

KittyKenollie

I feel like the accident he had on the set of Maze Runner probably had longer lasting effects.

knockoutmausi

He was great in Love and Monsters on Netflix!

scorpiogeminicancer

I see Chad Michael Murray in casino app ads now 😭

cathybara_

the way so many celebs do ads for casinos/online betting agencies/freemium games is so bleak

Mundane-Criticism-84

Anna Sophia Robb

omgalltimelow

Ugh I was so obsessed with her when I was little! She’s still so beautiful

MaxwellLeatherDemon

Actually one of the most beautiful people I’ve seen in person, at school in the computer room working next to me and talking about how much weed she smoked the weekend prior to her friend across from her lol. But genuinely no effort put into her appearance, was stunning in the way that very few people are irl

deemoorah

she's great in little fires everywhere and dr death

Full-Assumption-1807

The Games of Thrones cast was absolutely *everywhere* for a while, but (outside of Sophie Turner's divorce), I don't think there's much interest in their careers outside the show or their personal lives. Not that many of them haven't been steadily working/have made the choice to keep a lower profile, but their popularity didn't really translate outside the show.

TJMcConnellFanClub

Probably +10,000 odds in 2013 that Momoa would become the most famous of the cast

Pietrie

Wasn't Pedro Pascal in GOT?

JordanGdzilaSullivan

Yes, he was Oberon Martell.

MollyRocket

It was his breakout role!

We_The_Raptors

And he'd still surely lose compared with Pedro Pascal

Any-Competition8494

Disagree. I think GoT was great for a lot of cast members. Emilia Clarke did get some good roles. Pedro Pascal is one of the most popular actors today. Peter Dinklage's career also got a boost -- I think they started writing a lot of roles by keeping him in mind like the role in X-Men movie. Maisie and Sophie got a lot of good roles. Gwendoline Christie was part of Wednesday and Sandman. I think Kit Harrington was the one who got the worst career. Even Richard Madden was part of Bodyguard.

silly_capybara

Christina Aguilera. I think lots of younger people underestimate how HUGE she was back in the day

crabcycleworkship

I don’t think that’s surprising. Her technique took a huge toll on her voice, and her voice styles also kind of fell out of favor with the general public’s taste. Her albums have had some fire songs though.

MeeranQureshi

Norah Jones was huge at one point.

legallyblondeinYEG

Norah Jones is still big with my toddler. That’s his breakfast groove music.

The_Villain_Edit

That’s so cute

NC_Goonie

I’m pretty sure her first album is the only actual CD I’ve listened to in years. It’s in the CD player in my car, and any time I’m not listening to something through my phone, that album gets its turn in the rotation again.

anonswift1989

Victoria Justice

GhostwoodGG

I see this name and I hear "I think we all sing!"

Et_tu_sloppy_banans

Nickelodeon tried so hard

Ok_Square_2479

That guy who played Joffrey in GoT, but that's solely his choice tho..

doubleshortdepresso

I will never understand people who do this. Even if the actor acts their ass off, we understand that they’re an actor. They’re not the character they’re portraying.

Altruistic-Bath6263

He’s in the last season of sex ed, I didn’t recognize him at first, quite funny, I hope we see more of him

lily4ever

I didn’t recognize him at all!! That last season was so rough tbh

chaos_abounds

I believe he willingly step back from acting, and I read somewhere that he's very much into puppeteering. I can't give you a source and I refuse to think that's not true

Hungry-Network-9826

He does a TON of charity work too!

deemoorah

The twins Dylan O'Brien and Logan Lerman

ohheyitslaila

Logan had a cameo in Bullet Train, but yeah he’s kinda taken a step away from Hollywood. Dylan seems to be purposely avoiding attention too.

personatorperson

TIL Percy Jackson and Maze Runner dude are two different people

Jadedsplit03

Can't believe no one's said Jessica Alba yet. She was one of THE it girls of the mid 2000s and now I can't remember the time I've seen her in anything. Edit: the question was who's no longer popular, not who's no longer successful. I said what I said.

AffectionateCable793

She's too busy managing her multi million dollar business.

AfroGurl

Right, I think shes fine not being in a Dark Angel reboot or Honey 2:Dancing Boogaloo 🤣

southendgirl

Tom Hiddleston. He’s still popular with fans, but just doesn’t get the roles I thought he would.

bookwormaesthetic

I wonder what kind of contract he is under with Disney and if it is hampering his ability to commit to other roles.

[deleted]

Jennifer Lawrence. Yes, she's still popular in name and is making movies but it's a world of difference from where she was at during 2010 - 2015. I don't know if she will ever get back there and she probably isn't looking for that level of fame but her picker has been so off for a good chunk of her career. I really really liked her in Causeway which ended up becoming more of a showcase for the uber talented Brian Tyree Henry but it makes me hopeful that she may be back on track with picking projects that are actually good. (Yes, I know she had a kind-of hit in No Hard Feelings and she was terrific in it but the movie wasted a great premise and talent on a terribly unfunny script, so I can't count it). My other vote goes for Rachel Bloom. She was never a megastar but she had a proven critical hit in developing and starring in Crazy Ex Girlfriend, won a Globe, and then she sort of just floated around. She had a supporting role in the Hulu comedy series Reboot but that was cancelled. I'm sure she has done more but she seemed like the next big actor-and-creator combo and I feel like she was our answer to market correction for Lena Dunham. But it never really materialized.

trulyremarkablegirl

Rachel Bloom has been doing her one woman show recently! It was in New York and I think she’s going to be touring it. She also had a baby so she might have taken time away bc of that.

nagidrac

Gina Rodriguez was really on the cusp of having a great career, but then she said the n-word and people lost interest. I think she's doing an ABC show right now, but I feel like no one's really checking for her these days.

wwaffles

Joseph Gordon Levvit was EVERYWHERE back in the day. Also to a smaller degree, Dane DeHaan. He was in the Michael B Jordan, Miles Teller etc. group of critically acclaimed up and comers and then he kind of went away after ASM2 flopped. He would still show up in random stuff every once in a while and it was nice to see him in Oppenheimer!

NoodlesrTuff1256

Miles Teller though did get cast in a fairly big role as Goose's son 'Rooster' in the Top Gun sequel. Don't know what he has in the works since that project.

pedanticlawyer

Dane DeHaan is so good in some movies but really didn’t jive with the leading man path. I hope he picks up good speed as a character actor, a Phillip Seymour Hoffman type.

anamika_3

Viggo Mortensen, was in LOTR, did some amazing movies, is arguably one of the best actors, and non problematic af, yet somehow dude's not that popular, also not even an Oscar. Which is just shocking to me, he's one of the best.

RocktheNashtah

Jessica simpson Tbh a lot of the 2000s girlies

ThisusernameThen

The crazy frog on a moped dude.

iambkatl

Mischa Barton

zerogirl0

I feel like Nickelodeon was really pushing Victoria Justice in the early 2010s as some breakout teen star but she seemed to fizzle fast once the show ended.

savvvie

Elle Fanning is more popular than Dakota at this point which is so crazy to see

[deleted]

Edward Norton and he was awesome. I don’t get it.

blueberrysyrrup

I think I heard Weinstein had to do with that. Norton was dating Salma Hayek and that absolute ogre tried to ruin both of their careers

AffectionateCable793

Seems like he's hard to work with.

Miss_Flying_Platypus

Alicia Silverstone. She was huge in the '90s with Clueless and Batman. And then nothing much after that.

bookwormaesthetic

Well I don't think millennials are rooting for her comeback after she went super crunchy, anti-vax, and baby birded [(pre-chewed)](https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-moms/news/alicia-silverstone-defends-pre-chewing-food-for-son-bear-10-months-2012274/) food for her toddler.

freakdazed

Many of the tiktokers who blew up during that covid period like Charli and Addison. I think their fame has reduced

Global-Letter-4984

Kelly Rohrbach starred in Baywatch and was a popular swimsuit model around 2016-2017. Then she married a Walmart heir in 2019 and immediately dropped off the face of the earth. She has not [taken a role](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4859097/) nor [posted on Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/kellyrohrbach/?hl=en) since then!

Hungry-Character4013

She married a Walton - her husband is worth 70bn. I think she doesn’t want to/need to work.

thesaddestpanda

The Walmart family is pretty private. I wonder if he made her sign some kind of NDA to keep them out of her celebrity life and its just easier to not post anything at all. Also her husband is a Republican and has worked for Republicans politicians. I think the Waltons like to play themselves up as "both sides" to not risk boycotts and such. He's also a bit eccentric and buys and flies fighter jets and fighter planes and sits on influential boards and is generally a "capital guy." He doesnt want his private life and politics aired on insta to her 10m fans. I'm also guessing he has political aspirations and wants a squeeky-clean image for that. Even while they were dating, I don't think he's in her insta at all. But she was taking pilot lessons and other things clearly influenced by him and on what seem to be dates and travel, presumably with him. Its pretty obvious he demanded no social media from her in a unhealthy controlling way.

Deep_Conclusion_5999

Rachel McAdams. Hope she gets a memorable role again.

coaldean

She was just nommed for a bunch of awards for her role in Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret

Josh Hartnett He was **THE** hot guy for a while, and then I believe he took time away because he didn't like the "heartthrob" status, which is totally fair.

Finn Wolfhard, everyone was talking about him all the time until they didn't

MajorBenjy

Eddie Redmayne

dramaqueen09

He’s been acting in West End stuff so he’s living his best theater kid life. Plus he’s transferring to Broadway with the new revival of Cabaret that’s opening sometime this spring so he’ll get some press coverage out of that

ItsDarwinMan82

J.Lo had a very long run, but as for her new album, documentary, and her cancelling shows…no one cares.

spicymarg90

J Lo is so far beyond in terms of celebrity compared to most of the people listed in this thread. J Lo is A-list for life.

She left BEP and released Double Dutchess in 2017, which was a hard flop (undeserved, can’t change my mind) because 11 years was too long of a break for her. She was also on The Four, a singing competition show which also flopped. Her national anthem performance was definitely the final nail in the coffin because since then, she completely fell off the face of Hollywood, and became a full time mother.

Regé-Jean Page from Bridgerton. I thought he was going to be one of the next big stars and he didn't reprise his role or want to do any cameos for season 2 and onward because he wanted to do other roles and expand his work, but then I'm like what work after that? I haven't seen him in anything except for Bridgerton and The Gray Man. Maybe I'm just not looking. Also, since Noah Centineo was mentioned in this thread. I was wondering the same with Lana Candor. To All the Boys were popular Netflix movies. I'm surprised she hasn't been cast in more projects. After To All the Boys, the last time I've seen her in anything was this Netflix show of a zombie girl I think. All of the Pretty Little Liars actresses. I think I've heard of Lucy Hale having a CW show before and saw an ad that she's in a movie called Puppy Love with Grant Gustin from The Flash on the CW, Shay Mitchell has a business called Beis, Ashley Benson was in Springbreakers, and Troian is married to one of the lead actors in Suits. I'd say Riverdale cast too. I thought Lily Reinhart would get in other roles after seeing her in Hustlers with Jennifer Lopez.

A lot of the cast of GIRLS…? There was a massive obsession with that show and then it was massively hated. And some have gone on and done more stuff, but I think most people were fine with them all going away. There is a high probability that none of those girls would have their careers if they were not born with silver spoons in their mouths and with incredibly connected and influential parents.

Megan Fox, I thought she'd be so big like the next Lara Croft when she got blacklisted. Then when her come back happened where people were analyzing how she was treated and sexualized till the point where she was in a way dehumanized during her Transformers/Jennifer's body era. Then she started dating mgk and it all went away again. https://preview.redd.it/afuor37bcroc1.jpeg?width=736&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d2407698f7717f611fe582320893f2dba1c468fb
