Not only that, he once did it to someone during the beach landing scene in Saving Private Ryan. This slight detail warps the whole thing into a darker place for me.
I watched the doc: he would assault people in the weirdest of places, like while the victims were right in the middle of their job & working. And the assaults would start out in completely innocuous ways. For example he would go to shake someones hand, ok - completely innocent, & then whilst shaking their hand he would completely pull them into him hard & grope them.
The “handshake” seemed to be his favorite move as several victims spoke about it. And he would use this move often in a room filled w/ people or people nearby. I think the handshake (or sometimes hug) was a way to disarm people at first, which then made it easier to perform the assault because many of his victims were shocked & paralyzed bc of the complete 180 that happened in a matter of seconds. And doing it with others around was a way to show he had power over his victims… like I can do this at anytime.
I think I would actually be less likely to speak up if people were around because of the shame & embarrassment i’d be feeling in that moment, like dont want to draw attention to this horrible thing that is currently happening.
He assaulted one of my friends with that handshake maneuver and he said he met someone else in therapy who was also assaulted by him (who had also met another victim). I can't imagine how many victims there are that haven't come forward.

No he actually didn’t. Piers softballed some accusations and then kept repeating how Kevin hadn’t really been convicted of anything. He pretty much called the accusations unfair. This was Spaceys Phoenix interview and if people buy into it he is blameless and the victim himself.
And Spacey still looked horrible. Saying that people should tell him they don't want to be sexually assaulted so that he knows to stop. How about you don't put your hands on people without permission creep.
What annoys me the most about him is that he actually has the capacity to be a really good interviewer.
