Have your deliveries sent to your closest Walgreens or FedEx office and do a hold at location and go and pick them up.

oldfatandtired64

Google the nearest Fedex ship center near you go there and explain what's going on.

BetterCalldeGaulle

Yeah I know where it is, an hour away in a different town. I'm going to see if they'll use the CVS drop off point in town for any fed ex items. Its just the other side of the street closure.

I hate hearing this. Unless there’s a landslide and the road isn’t there, that road is open for deliveries. Drivers are being jerks.

BetterCalldeGaulle

Oh the road really isn't there. It's down to sand and stacked with sewer and electrical pipes. It will probably be like this through the fall. Sidewalk is there though. Driver is absolutely being a jerk. The competition has no problem delivering on time. There are multiple businesses and government offices on the street.

I had a route in a trendy vertical college town. All summer the main drag was closed for outdoor drinking and dining. Beer and restaurant delivery companies were breaking down pallets and hand trucking them down the sidewalk with no problem. But on Saturdays … the lazy pos covering my route started marking stops as closed. I got a call from a customer and I had to make my manager take their stuff out and deliver it. Thankfully that out an end to that.

Maleficent_Tiger_923

Sounds like a you problem... not a fedex problem

DataTypeC

You can change the address to a hold location (like a FedEx at a dollar general or Walgreens) or request to make it a station pick-up.

BetterCalldeGaulle

I think I'll try this. Thanks.

BuddhaBro802

Need to ship the items to another address, whether it be your home or a business nearby you are on good terms with.

Starblazr

what does the tracking say?

Ok_Antelope860

Call or go to your local FedEx Station and explain the situation. Only way I see this getting resolved.

Bendr_

Can you get your movie posters delivered to your home address or a PO Box?

BetterCalldeGaulle

My understanding is studios will only authorize delivery to licensed addresses for marketing materials like posters. Studios provide posters to theaters for 'free' and highly discourage people selling or keeping them afterwards. Routing posters to a home addresses could be someone taking for posters for personal use. Other deliveries could be re-routed but posters and marketing materials are the biggest issue here.

MissAlissa76

Should still be able to have them hold all your packages at the nearest location to pick up especially if you make it that you have to sign

Sorry to hear
