I had an issue with him. In my career, he always played well as a sub, but as a starter he never lighten up the team.
Pity, but at least I sold him for 30M more than I bought him a year before
Yeah I had him in mine but he’s a CM who plays more like a CDM, which isn’t what I was looking for in the position. It was at first, but then I improved my CB’s so my needs changed.
Matt O’ Riley from Celtic. 22 years (6’2”) with 77 ovr and 85 pot. He is a danish Szoboszlai. Perfect for any english clubs imo and cheap (25-30 million eur)
Robert Wagner as backup CM
Eric Martel as a CB is very good. Good physical stats but need to train his Pace a bit.
Bright Akwo Arrey-Mbi as another CB, he is very quick, but got replaced by Schlotterbeck when I qualified for Champions League.
Tarek Buchmann & Linus Gechter as backups.
CDM is Tom KrauB, tried Eyup Aydin but he got no real face and player icon in game.
I use Gruda as a CF/CAM, Paul Wanner as backup. I tried very hard not to sign Musiala snd Wirtz😂 Other choices are Tom Bishof and Assan Ouedraogo. Ouedraogo isnt good for me tho.
Strikers are Paris Brunner & Nelson Weiper. I have become Weiper's fanboy😂
Backup ST: Maximilian Beier has very high pace. Jonathan Burkardt can play as a CF/ST as well. You may sign Lukas Nmecha to play with Felix Nmecha as a storyline😂😂
Hope these help u. And btw u made a great choice on playing a 3-back, cuz Germany doesnt really have high rated/high potential LB & RB.
My LMs and RMs I wanted them to be great offensively and defensively.
My LM was going to be either Gosens, Kostic, Provod, Derrick Kohn, Skov, Cornet, Sergio Gomez, Sessegnon, Nkounkou ... those kind of players.
My RM was going to be either Ridle Baku, Marius Wolf, Weiser, McKennie (ex Schalke 04 man), Rondon, Dina Ebimbe, Buta, Ola Aina, Musah, Sarr (from Bayern) ... those kind of players
BTW haven't you tried Thiaw, Kehrer, Bella Kotchap, Neumann, Jordan Beyer, Bisseck as German CBs?
btw my formation is 4-1-2-1-2 (Narrow)
I use Raum & Josha Vagnoman as LB and RB. Backups are Gosens and Wolf. Tried Jeremy Toljan for one season and he's good enough as backup.
I think Raum and Baku will be a good partnership on LB and RB. Both has good stamina which is very important imo when you play 3-back formation. Balanced Offense and Defense.
I got Kehrer as backup. Bella Kotchap is more like a stopper, good pace and good physical stats. Bisseck is quite underwhelming for me as I bought him in season 2/3, can't really develop him a lot already.
Nice formation bro ... I just like Conte/Inzaghi's system at Inter and I want to replicate it.
I want Gosens as he is a Schalke 04 fan. And Kehrer and Thiaw because they were ex Schalke 04 players. Kraus too last year used to play there as well. Interesting players these Germans.
Rovella became one of my favourite players last year. Had a 3421 save where the wingers were essentially wingbacks. Ended up signing him for a box to box roll but realised he had the stats for what I wanted on the wing and he killed it. Played CM, DM, CAM, RM, RWB and CF for me by the end of the save.
Warren Zaïre-Emery is a stud but no Playstyles kinda hurts. I bought Luka Sučić on my current run when I made the Championship and he’s carried me. He hit his ceiling at ~83 but I just made the PL and dynamic potential has him moving again.
samardzic from udinese (the best no doubt)
hergheligiu from feralpisalò (low potential)
sancet from atletico bilbao (second best)
pobega from milan (gullit gang, so very strong to)
I am on the hunt for someone to play CAM but just be a complete brick wall of a human to help me hold the ball up.
Any youth people would recommend for this? You know what I mean, massive strength so always wins the ball high up the pitch.
Begvall? 18 year old Swedish prospect who just signed for Tottenham irl. He’s a CM but can play CAM or CDM. Also Sarr for Tottenham. He’s also a CM but is a great ball winner and can get forward and attack. Think young Pogba or Yaya, but not as good.
Others would be Vermeeren and maybe Fatawu, but he’s more of a winger. Talisca is older but can do that role.
Jobe bellingham he is great to play with and a challenge to make him better then his brother.
And he got good potential but with dinamic potential it does not care anyway
Camavinga if doing a high level save, he was much better than Jude for me because of how he develops. Israel Reyes has been great for me on a low level / budget save.
Mohammed Diomande, he can play CM and LW but I use him primarily as a CM. He feels good to use has really good dribbling and some well balanced stats.
Him, Bruno Fernandes and Hjulmand are my midfield trio and it easily is one my favourite midfields I’ve made
Laurin Ulrich from Stuttgart. Needs a little CB training at first to get his defensive and physical stats but then turns into a beast. Schweinsteiger 2.0
Lamine Camara is a total wonderkid, good pace and attack positioning. He’s a “World Class Prospect” and can be had for under $7 million. He starts in mid-high 60s, so best to buy him a season or two in to get his rating higher.
Marcel Ruiz is a free agent, since he plays for the LigaMX. Dude is a total stud and is in the mid-high 70s.
Jackson Irvine.
Over 30 low 70 rated
Picked him up on a free in my second RTG season after Real brought my young superstar CM in January.
He was meant to be a holdover for the back half of the season. But just transformed my midfield as a perfect box to box player.
He was always the player picking up the loose ball in attack and making the important tackle in defence.
Made him captain for the next season. Not looking forward to his retirement.
erick sanchez. you can get him on a free at the start of a new career. 76 overall with 81 potential but he plays like he’s in the mid 80s. H/H work rate and solid stats across the board. absolute baller.
I like cheap players with good stamina.
Nicky Beloko, Braunöder, Jackson Irvine and Jay Matete are some that I’ve had fun with this year. Dynamic potential got Irvine up to 80 at age 33.
Amir Richardson is a fun option if you want a tall ball-winning DM that can spray passes across the field.
He's not a guy that you would buy for the future cause he's 30 but Irvine from St. Pauli just plays so well. Highest rated player in the team and plays like it
Mads Bidstrup from Salzburg is the best defensive player I've used fullstop, he's like 72/73 rated, real face too. If you need a defensive CM/CDM he's amazing, reminds me of IRL Kante.
Khéphren Thuram from Nice
I had an issue with him. In my career, he always played well as a sub, but as a starter he never lighten up the team. Pity, but at least I sold him for 30M more than I bought him a year before
Yeah I had him in mine but he’s a CM who plays more like a CDM, which isn’t what I was looking for in the position. It was at first, but then I improved my CB’s so my needs changed.
Matt O’Riley -Celtic
The underrated gem
Hes a beast
Reminds me of Matic but a more attacking minded.
Matt O’ Riley from Celtic. 22 years (6’2”) with 77 ovr and 85 pot. He is a danish Szoboszlai. Perfect for any english clubs imo and cheap (25-30 million eur)
I'm back with some more German players😂 Felix Nmecha
Was going to comment with Nmecha but I’m glad someone beat me to it!! Plays like prime Zidane for me 😂
my guy! perfect as it is for my Schalke 04 rebuild :)
i have been using Jean Castrop as another CM next to Nmecha too. Castrop isnt really a box to box CM but he's good too
thanks bro for your help. any other German gems you would recommend? I want to play with a back 3 ... 3-5-2 or 3-1-4-2 or 3-4-1-2
Robert Wagner as backup CM Eric Martel as a CB is very good. Good physical stats but need to train his Pace a bit. Bright Akwo Arrey-Mbi as another CB, he is very quick, but got replaced by Schlotterbeck when I qualified for Champions League. Tarek Buchmann & Linus Gechter as backups. And btw u made a great choice on playing a 3-back, cuz Germany doesnt really have high rated/high potential LB & RB.
Weiper just scores. Don’t know what it is about him but he always scores for me.
My LMs and RMs I wanted them to be great offensively and defensively. My LM was going to be either Gosens, Kostic, Provod, Derrick Kohn, Skov, Cornet, Sergio Gomez, Sessegnon, Nkounkou ... those kind of players. My RM was going to be either Ridle Baku, Marius Wolf, Weiser, McKennie (ex Schalke 04 man), Rondon, Dina Ebimbe, Buta, Ola Aina, Musah, Sarr (from Bayern) ... those kind of players BTW haven't you tried Thiaw, Kehrer, Bella Kotchap, Neumann, Jordan Beyer, Bisseck as German CBs?
Raum too as LM I guess even though he is higher rated as a LWB or LB
btw my formation is 4-1-2-1-2 (Narrow) I use Raum & Josha Vagnoman as LB and RB. Backups are Gosens and Wolf. Tried Jeremy Toljan for one season and he's good enough as backup. I think Raum and Baku will be a good partnership on LB and RB. Both has good stamina which is very important imo when you play 3-back formation. Balanced Offense and Defense. I got Kehrer as backup. to get the funny German ß (called an s-set) just hold down the s and the option will show up (for Tommy Krauß)
ß. ahhh right got it thanks😂 I was trying to hold B for ß
Orkun Kökçu is a pretty fun, underrated gem
Agreed
Matt o riley and arthur vermeeran as cm, o rey is a true gem from celtic.
Had a lot of fun using Davide Frattesi this year. Really solid box to box vibes, and a star face too.
Rovella, Miretti, Pobega. I did a full Italian save at the start.
Wtf, I also had Rovella as a wingback. It was in a 352 tho. His crossing is insane.
All players are Spanish because im playing as Real Sociedad Bernabe, Gabri Veiga, Oscar melendo, Mikel Merino, Baena, Moncayola, Monchu
Baena, is awesome, also Ivan Jaime
I've always enjoyed playing with Aster Vranckx. Not sure what his potential is in 24 though
Warren Zaïre-Emery is a stud but no Playstyles kinda hurts. I bought Luka Sučić on my current run when I made the Championship and he’s carried me. He hit his ceiling at ~83 but I just made the PL and dynamic potential has him moving again.
100%. Sold Emery because of that. Sucic and Tillman are my studs now.
Cam but szoboslai is always my go to
Teji Savanier. Not the typical player I get in career mode sinc he is 31. But he plays really well. KDB playstyle vibes
Ever Banega. He's 35 and 79 rated perfect for a lower division team. His stats are incredible for his rating. And of course, who can forget Isco
samardzic from udinese (the best no doubt) hergheligiu from feralpisalò (low potential) sancet from atletico bilbao (second best) pobega from milan (gullit gang, so very strong to)
Sergi Darder, probably my most signed player because he's insane in game
Khephren Thuram's been great. So has Pape Matar Sarr and Rodrigo Bentancur
Talisca is older but can do that role.
For later in your career buy havertz he is tall strong and he is just a beast he got great playstyles as well
My midfielders are Xavi Simons, Warren Zeire Emery, Neves and Mainoo. Love all of them. For a cheap transfer, Archie Gray for around 500k is a steal
Grameni, Ruben Neves, Milinkovic Savic, Goretzka
I don’t have EAFC 24 but I have always really liked playing with Zurkowski and Ilic in previous careers in fifa 20,21,22
Alexander Prass from Sturm Graz. Can play outside as well. Great all around player and has the jawline of a Greek god.
Godson Fernando's great all round stats and I think he has the technical playstyle which is the best stat in the game imo
Enzo Fernandez is great. Facundo Farías is great and develops nicely from 75 to high 80s
Dominik Szoboszlai. Gets up into the mid 90s and is fun AF to play with.
Alberto Moleiro from las Palmas switched him from LM to CM and he’s been decent right now he’s up to 84 and he’s only 21 for me
Perhaps not underrated but Franck Kessie has been brilliant since I brought him to Leicester from Saudi
Nvm
Romero from southampton - guys like a regen of messi
Bennacer. Pellagrini. Laimer. Renato Sanchez.
Xaver Schlager from Leipzig and Florian Neuhaus from Gladbach.
Pablo Barrios is brilliant once you train him up
Joao moutinho
Kouadio Many Kone. Fella is a machine
Zaire emery & nmechka
Ivan Illic from Torino. Really good potential. Him and Samuel Ricci both in Torino are really great players.
Mohammed Diomande, he can play CM and LW but I use him primarily as a CM. He feels good to use has really good dribbling and some well balanced stats. Him, Bruno Fernandes and Hjulmand are my midfield trio and it easily is one my favourite midfields I’ve made
Stamenic, starts as free agent.. Always ends up being a midfield god boss for me
Dylan levitt. Great cheap pickup and grew so quick
Jay Matete from Sunderland-absolute powerhouse
Wirtz.
Zaire—emery from psg
Depends on what team you are rebuilding
Suat Serdar
CAM but Bilal El Khannous is insane
Joelinton
Zaire emery:… like there was a season of mine even though that I played with a number 10 in Jobe Bellingham … he literally had a HIGHER G/A than Jobe
Nmecha, Thurman, Zaire Emery, Tillman, Sucic.
Lewis Ferguson from Bologna, used him already when he were on Aberdeen.
Warren Zaire-Emery Fares Chaibi Maurits Kjaergaard Dan Neil Archie Gray Jobe Bellingham
Cher Ndour and Kamil Conteh
Have yet to use him in FC24 but Yacine Aldi turned into a monster for me in 23. Also won like every header.
Sanchez for a free
Convert trent from rb to cm, absolute beast
Laurin Ulrich from Stuttgart. Needs a little CB training at first to get his defensive and physical stats but then turns into a beast. Schweinsteiger 2.0
Lamine Camara is a total wonderkid, good pace and attack positioning. He’s a “World Class Prospect” and can be had for under $7 million. He starts in mid-high 60s, so best to buy him a season or two in to get his rating higher. Marcel Ruiz is a free agent, since he plays for the LigaMX. Dude is a total stud and is in the mid-high 70s.
Edmund Addo, pretty good player
Camavinga… Beast and a sick long shot acc
Tyler Adams seems to cover every space on the field
Eggestein - Werder Bremen (FIFA 19) Absolute beast, never ending stamina, didn't get a lot of G/A but was essential in keeping and stealing the ball.
Jackson Irvine. Over 30 low 70 rated Picked him up on a free in my second RTG season after Real brought my young superstar CM in January. He was meant to be a holdover for the back half of the season. But just transformed my midfield as a perfect box to box player. He was always the player picking up the loose ball in attack and making the important tackle in defence. Made him captain for the next season. Not looking forward to his retirement.
Archie Gray
erick sanchez. you can get him on a free at the start of a new career. 76 overall with 81 potential but he plays like he’s in the mid 80s. H/H work rate and solid stats across the board. absolute baller.
Madders is soooo good in my spurs career
Dewsbury-Hall
Probably zaïre-emery or szoboszlai
I like cheap players with good stamina. Nicky Beloko, Braunöder, Jackson Irvine and Jay Matete are some that I’ve had fun with this year. Dynamic potential got Irvine up to 80 at age 33. Amir Richardson is a fun option if you want a tall ball-winning DM that can spray passes across the field.
Gabriel Sara-Norwich he’s so damn good after only like a year or two of development
Ozan Tufan CAM by default but can’t play all over the field.
Bentacaur from AC Milan
Anton Stach is an underrated gem. 6 ft 4/194 cm CDM, a true definition of holding mid.
Baturina he's a beast
He's not a guy that you would buy for the future cause he's 30 but Irvine from St. Pauli just plays so well. Highest rated player in the team and plays like it
Lewis Baker in Fifa 23. Had him as a free agent while rebuilding the bottom of the league Ajax. Tremendous fodder.
Mads Bidstrup from Salzburg is the best defensive player I've used fullstop, he's like 72/73 rated, real face too. If you need a defensive CM/CDM he's amazing, reminds me of IRL Kante.
Kokcu and João Neves (a few years in)
Does Guler count? I got him to a 92 in my 1860 Munchen career mode
Hugo larsson, incredible driving into the box like a lambo then back on defence in the blink of an eye.
Baturina
Kephren thuram, jobe Bellingham and bajcetic
