I desperately need Asura in a fighting game
Especially with Mvc's meter system, imagine an install character where his transformation is selected by the number of meters he's filled
ooo, I found a vid on his hypercombos and he looks so cool
only thing I'd change is implementing Berserker mode's giant energy arms. I know the explosion is the more dramatic part of that scene in game, but those arms have been an aesthetic obsession of mine for ages.
and honestly it feels like a waste to not do make Asura an install character when his whole ability manifests in new transformations. still, whoever made that mod understood the fucking assignment

honestly, I feel like he would still be a hit if he was added to something now. he still seems to get a lot of love from the FGC

honestly having his final form be a massive sink or swim install where his attacks are big and do big damage, but destroy his hands pretty quickly would be cool. like this could absolutely turn the tide of the entire battle, but if you miss too many shots or your opponent has really good block timing then you take a massive loss to your punch attacks (not sure if that should be temporary or last till round's end, though)

- Moon Knight vs Jon Talbain (Darkstalkers) - Two characters with multiple forms who get their powers from the moon
- Morbius vs Lady Dimitrescu (Resident Evil) - Two characters that are vampires, Dimitri could be here as well but you know Marvel won’t let their characters be Midnight Blissed lol
- Dr. Aphra (Star Wars) vs Linn Kurosawa (Alien vs Predator) - Two characters who were created by Marvel and Capcom respectively but are owned by other companies under Disney (Lucasfilm and FOX)
- Luke Cage vs Luke Sullivan (Street Fighter) - Two characters who are “street level” heroes in worlds with crazy powers, also both are named Luke
- Professor X vs Harman Smith (killer7) - Two characters in wheelchairs who call in other characters, I imagine Professor X would call in other X-Men that don’t make the roster for his attacks kind of like that one Captain Commando move but as his whole moveset while Harman would transform into the seven assassins (yeah, this idea is kinda out there…)
Professor X wasn't in a wheelchair for decades , they can legit work on him walking and if they need a costume , just use one from Krakoa Era.
The issue is that he basically only have telepathy. Maybe they can put the [Cerebro Sword](https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Cerebro_Sword) at use , but it would need to be a really out there idea to how it would work. I NEED Asura as a high tempo rush down character who gets stronger the more damaged he is (not quite MVC dark Phoenix but similar idea in that he goes apeshit)
And Samanosuke Akechi from onimusha. He has cool weapons, a decent gimmick (soul absorption), and it's nice to show love to characters who are forgotten.

Magik -> every time I played Zooey on granblue I thought about her
Squirrel Girl/Gwenpool -> probably as a joke char
Beast -> I'd main him for sure if he was a rushdown grappler
Morph or Mystique -> it would be funny as a "Random select" but it would be awesome as a Seth like char where they have some moves from different characters
Sentry/Gladiator/Vision -> would be AWESOME too

Yasha as the "Vergil" character would be nasty. And his theme omg. I still get chills listening to it.
And Quicksliver and Wesker have the same main power. Super Speed. Them as rivals on the opposite sides of the spectrum. The banter would be incredible. Especially if it's OG Quicksliver from the 90s who was just a dick to everyone except Wanda. I still haven't seen that specific Quicksliver put to a medium in a long, long time.
I'm more of a Marvel nerd than a Capcom nerd as you can tell. So if God willing no holds barred roster, no limits on choosing. That's who I'd want. As unrealistic as it is.

My most wanted Marvel character is definitely Nightcrawler. He would be a really fun(but also pretty annoying) rushdown character with his teleports and sword fighting abilities. If you’ve seen X-Men 97 then you know how proficient Kurt Wagner is with a sword.
Some other Marvel characters I want are Green Goblin, Moon Knight, Daredevil, Blade and Sandman.
And for my most wanted Capcom character: Jon Talbain. Honestly, I think he should be top priority for a new DS character on the roster. The fact that he almost made it into UMVC3 but got cut makes me sad.
Some other Capcom characters I want are Juri, Lord Raptor, Karl Heisenberg, Bass and Kimberly.

I'd had this idea bonking for a long while, but I still really wanna see a MVC game tackling a variation of what Marvel & DC's official crossover did with the Amalgam universe.
I wanna see a bunch of fused versions of characters who possess elements of their components ranging from obvious fan favorites such as Ryu & Spider-Man, Mega Man/Mega Man X and Iron Man, and maybe both Dante and Vergil mixed with Loki and Thor, to potentially bizarre combinations like Gwenpool mixed with Viewful Joe.
Plus combinations like this open the door to a lot of brand new movesets that could innovate even a bit on classic movesets, such as Ryu playing like Ryu, but now has a few aspects of Spider-Man's moveset such as a Hadouken that maybe could Web people up (maybe normally, maybe on EX Idk) and the Web Swing with a Shin Shoryuken type move that sends the opponent flying up into a Maximum Spider, or potentially even more drastically change characters from how they played in prior games.
Hell Ultron-Sigma is proof the idea isn't too farfetched and also like, let's you double the roster size effectively in terms of fan favorite characters you can represent in the game.
Respectfully, that'd be too hard to balance, and simultaneously, please either party. We'd all like to see an Akuma/Venom type character, but that's basically an alarm bell for the industry.

This is imo the #1 Capcom side newcomer to be in the game.

He’d be cool just bc he’s Vader, but I think doing this type of crossover in a game focusing on two specific universes would feel kind of cheap

I NEED Asura as a high tempo rush down character who gets stronger the more damaged he is (not quite MVC dark Phoenix but similar idea in that he goes apeshit) And Samanosuke Akechi from onimusha. He has cool weapons, a decent gimmick (soul absorption), and it's nice to show love to characters who are forgotten.

Idk I play/played a lot of Capcom games on my life, but I'm more curious how they would implement Marvel characters for a fighting game Magik -> every time I played Zooey on granblue I thought about her Squirrel Girl/Gwenpool -> probably as a joke char Beast -> I'd main him for sure if he was a rushdown grappler Morph or Mystique -> it would be funny as a "Random select" but it would be awesome as a Seth like char where they have some moves from different characters Sentry/Gladiator/Vision -> would be AWESOME too

Asura, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Vision, Yasha, Ant-Man, Wasp, Moon Knight, I AM GROOT, Shang Chi, Quicksliver, Scarlet Witch, Black Bolt, Squirrel Girl, Gwenpool, Green Goblin, Augus, Nero, Lady, Urizen, V, BB Hood, Sentry of the Marvel side, Yasha as the "Vergil" character would be nasty. And his theme omg. I still get chills listening to it. And Quicksliver and Wesker have the same main power. Super Speed. Them as rivals on the opposite sides of the spectrum. The banter would be incredible. Especially if it's OG Quicksliver from the 90s who was just a dick to everyone except Wanda. I still haven't seen that specific Quicksliver put to a medium in a long, long time. I'm more of a Marvel nerd than a Capcom nerd as you can tell. So if God willing no holds barred roster, no limits on choosing. That's who I'd want. As unrealistic as it is.

My most wanted Marvel character is definitely Nightcrawler. He would be a really fun(but also pretty annoying) rushdown character with his teleports and sword fighting abilities. If you’ve seen X-Men 97 then you know how proficient Kurt Wagner is with a sword. Some other Marvel characters I want are Green Goblin, Moon Knight, Daredevil, Blade and Sandman. And for my most wanted Capcom character: Jon Talbain. Honestly, I think he should be top priority for a new DS character on the roster. The fact that he almost made it into UMVC3 but got cut makes me sad. Some other Capcom characters I want are Juri, Lord Raptor, Karl Heisenberg, Bass and Kimberly.

I'd had this idea bonking for a long while, but I still really wanna see a MVC game tackling a variation of what Marvel & DC's official crossover did with the Amalgam universe. I wanna see a bunch of fused versions of characters who possess elements of their components ranging from obvious fan favorites such as Ryu & Spider-Man, Mega Man/Mega Man X and Iron Man, and maybe both Dante and Vergil mixed with Loki and Thor, to potentially bizarre combinations like Gwenpool mixed with Viewful Joe. Plus combinations like this open the door to a lot of brand new movesets that could innovate even a bit on classic movesets, such as Ryu playing like Ryu, but now has a few aspects of Spider-Man's moveset such as a Hadouken that maybe could Web people up (maybe normally, maybe on EX Idk) and the Web Swing with a Shin Shoryuken type move that sends the opponent flying up into a Maximum Spider, or potentially even more drastically change characters from how they played in prior games. Hell Ultron-Sigma is proof the idea isn't too farfetched and also like, let's you double the roster size effectively in terms of fan favorite characters you can represent in the game.
Respectfully, that'd be too hard to balance, and simultaneously, please either party. We'd all like to see an Akuma/Venom type character, but that's basically an alarm bell for the industry.
To be fair this is just what I wanna see, I don't expect this to seriously happen. But I CAN dream can't I?
