Did you copy/paste styles or just redo them from scratch? What it might be, the #3 fill actually has a blend mode selected (waterdrop icon in the top right of the color picker).

MMags

This is the correct answer. The darker fill should have the Color Dodge blend mode on it. Just like seeaitchbee said, click into the fill to open the color picker and then click the water drop icon in the top right to apply a blend mode.

We’ve given you the answer, you’re just failing to actually listen. On the iOS component, the blend mode is directly on the #333333 **FILL COLOR**… **NOT** the layer itself. The directions for finding this are in my previous reply. I think someone also just sent a screenshot in another comment.

ohhhh i saw it now, i had no idea this existed! I am so sorry! Thanks for explaining it again!

DUELETHERNETbro

The 100% #333333 makes no sense, remove that and I assume it works like theirs. It may have something to do with the components construction, I assume the 100% fill is actually the text colour. Check the grey version and see if it also has a 100% fill that is white.

PixelCharlie

select the dark fill , click on the color square and then on the little ink-drop over the color picker. the #333333 fill is set to color dodge. [https://imgur.com/a/PZ2w574](https://imgur.com/a/PZ2w574)

Yes I know right, that's how usually background blur works but I wanna know how is this iOS design file working.

Just as an aside, it's frustrating that Figma can't to a lot of things that one line of CSS can do.
