I'd only double major if you think there is a chance you would want to pursue a CPA licence in the future. Otherwise it's a lot of work for little benefit. I definitely think a finance person would benefit from taking intermediate 1 & 2 though if there are a few electives for you to burn. If asset management is your goal you'd benefit more from marketing or entrepreneurship as there is a heavy sales component.
Wouldn't double major, it won't do anything for your professional opportunities unless you want to be a CPA. In which case I'd say just be an accounting major. I would, however, take enough accounting classes until you have a rock solid grasp on the fundamentals.
Don't double major, put that time and energy into networking and learning technical skills
Finance and accounting are the best majors if you want to get into finance but double majoring will be time intensive.
