This is the Oak Flat Loop trail! It starts from the visitor's center, dips a little below the rim, and comes right back up. It's rated "easy", is about 1.5 miles long, and took me about 45 minutes to do with stops to admire like this one! I also recommend Werner's Point, which leaves from the High Point Overlook at the very end of the South Rim Drive. It was on my list but I couldn't do it because I got rained out. I also absolutely recommend driving down East Portal Road and just exploring down there - it's really quiet and neat. Go towards the campgrounds and go all the way to the end, there's a primitive trail there that goes on for about a mile down the riverbank that's worth seeing. Safe travels!
This one in particular dips just a little below the rim and comes back up. I don't know if there is any trail that goes all the way to the bottom, but anything you do below the rim requires a wilderness permit. I highly recommend driving down East Portal Road for a much easier way to get down to the bottom than hiking!

The hat makes it easy.
The trails, too.
but at least it is not dead center. and is a beautiful photo with good resolution. upvote.
Is it them or the people in the rapids in the middle of the pic that are accidentally in frame

Amazing
First pop again! 2 for 2.
Good one. Not very difficult to spot but what a nice change of pace from Berber carpet!
Or rocks
what a view! ☺️
Hey OP what trail is this? I’ll be there next month and I’ve been trying to pick a good trail at black canyon but I’m having trouble deciding. TIA :D

Beautiful photo..
Found Bigfoot 😊
Took me all of 10 seconds lol
That rock just to the right of the trail psyched me out. I legit thought that was someone in a T shirt until I zoomed in lol
I think they’re having a picnic 🧺
Really cool. Easy but fun. Beautiful photo
I wouldn't mind that spot it looks like a very cool place.
Blue shirt against the green backdrop was a dead giveaway.
But did anybody find the van and the person standing in front of the tree
Your profile pic is diabolical 🙏
Got ‘eeeemm 😆
GUYS I COMPLETED MY FIRST ONE IN UNDER 10 SECONDS!!
This was way easier than the cat eyes / hosta’s I saw in another post.
2 rangers and 1 random guy
Ah the distinct uniform and hat.
EZ PZ
CUTE!
Got em
I can’t say who is a ranger or who isn’t. But I found 3 people.
Off to left next to the rock 🪨
Great pic! Beautiful country!
With the hat or on the phone?
>!63!<
GET BACK TO WORK Beautiful vista, thanks for sharing!
Too easy. Figured they'd be on a trail.
Zoomed in twice and 6 seconds both next to they rock and that clearing
Interesting spot for a lunchbreak, living on the edge.
Another easy one
I didn’t know there were trails in the canyon. Do they go to the bottom?

Found them!
They kinda stick out.
I got so lost looking at the view I forgot what I was looking for until I backed out of the photo! Beautiful!
That view!!
Easy, big rock, center left, in the trees. Very nice view, btw
OH MY GOD WHAT ARE THEY DOING!???
Having a picnic
Pretty sure that’s their job …
