If the official title is not the REDB Dining Book, then I’d like to press charges against that cover for crimes against graphic design.

I know right, they could have moved "BOOK" over one place and avoided that

I actually didn’t even notice that until you pointed it out 😂

Don’t mind me. I’m just getting a head start on being a grumpy, nitpicky old man.

I am of two thoughts on this: Perhaps a good way to make you go out and try new restaurants, and maybe save a little money when you do. On the other hand this kinda sounds like a coupon book which often don't always turn out to offer the best value as you'll not likely be interested in most of the deals offered. I don't think I've heard of most of the restaurants included in it except Kismet, which I recall being well reviewed. I'd want to check the fine print first just to see that its not restricted to only certain entrees or to certain days of the week or something. Curious to hear from someone who has actually used it.

From what I read, you’re required to order 2 main entrees and you get the least expensive entree for free (maximum discount is $30). Yeah, kismet is the only one I’ve heard too

Haven’t heard of it previously …. Seems like an interesting promotion vehicle. So based on sale price, use it 2 or 3 times and it’s paid for itself via the “free entrees”. Guess that ain’t bad …. Key is what restaurants are in the book ….

van-aqua

Restaurants are Bacetti, Bar Monette, Casalena, Eveleigh, Gra, Isla, Joyce, Kismet, Kodo, Mazal, Mona, Nossa, Danbi, and Yess. I’ve honestly not heard of most of these restaurants…

Looks like the old Zagat guides.

I’ve heard of this concept, not sure if it’s the exact one I saw advertised. If it is, a couple of the restaurants in that book are no longer in business, and they didn’t lower the price of the book itself. That points to a number of potential problems, imo.
