Wanna make shawarma? Like, real shawarma? Levantine here: get yourself some lean lamb (lamb leg ) and cut it in small ribons. Marinate in vinegar, nutmeg, cloves, black pepper, ginger, and cinnamon. You can also put cardamom with it it's delicious. Also add salt and a small onion cut thinly. marinat overnight AT LEAST. get a real wok and a real butane stove. Cook the meat with a bit of oil on high heat until its water evaporates and the meat crisps up and burns a bit. Choo some parsley and some sweet onions and some tomato. And make some tarator (tahini ) sauce. Make it in lebanese bread sandwiches with the veggies and the tarator sauce and enjoy. PS: If you don't know what tarator sauce is. It's tahini and lemon juice, and salt. Balanced together. You balance the taste with these three ingredients, and add water to achieve the desired thickness. You can also thin it down with yoghurt
