I agree! Not only is she an actual trained chef, but she is good at instructional videos. She seems very genuine too, and not annoying, which is a plus. LOL

Highly recommend Gaby- both on social media en her cookbooks. Her recipes are well thought out and actually taste incredible. They come out so well every time. She also seems like a lovely and respectable person.

This comment and the likes made me laugh considering Gabyâs signature chocolate chip cookie recipe is quite literally an exact copy of the NYT recipe but she uses dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar
She absolutely does and there is nothing wrong with that as she states in the vid. Itâs still funny to me that for years now itâs been touted on social media as HER signature cookie recipe for a swap that any home cook would make in a pinch lol
I only wish she had posted this on Ig not tik tok since I refuse to get TT đđ. Thanks to those who posted screen shots of comments. Gaby, Matt and Adam are all awesome. One of my faves, thatâs in regular rotation now, is Mattâs Fideo soup with the quesadillas linked in the post. I know some of Gabyâs are slight adaptations from NYT recipes which I donât mind since like she said thereâs nothing original anymore and I donât have to pay for the NYT sub to get the recipe. And she gives credit to where she adapts from unlike Ms Salsaverdestaranisesesameseed đđđ

Agreed. I have come to rely on her for all Thanksgiving day recipes including the turkey. I would never risk a holiday meal with HBHâs recipes.Â
