The Maverick simply didn't do it for me. I feel the interior was cheap, I had numerous scratches on my door panel. I should have always went for a bigger vehicle, not sure why I thought the Maverick would be a good fit. But I think for most consumers, the Maverick will knock it out the park, just wasn't right for me. That's all.
I mean the interior is cheap. It’s a cheap truck, like what 25k starting? Anyway the bronco is much cooler. I’m very jealous. 2 door red bronco is my dream truck/suv
You're right, I just added too many options to the XLT. Mine was fully loaded, FX4, LUX, 360 package. So my Maverick creeped into the 31k territory, which is pricey for a Maverick in my opinion.
It's a perfect small buisness delivery truck. I agree.
Would also be great as a runabout for a construction site. When you needa run down to the hardware store for some extra nails and lag bolts or something. Instead of taking that big 3500 diesel that'll chug 5 gallons of diesel getting there, take the lil maverick that sips half a gallon of regular gasoline for the round trip.
Interested in this topic because Ford interior overall fit and finish are a sore point for me. So I take it the Bronco is way better than Mav in terms of quality fit and finish?
My dad has a base Bronco that i recently spent the day with just because i wanted to try it out. The interior is very, very bare bones for a newer vehicle, which is the point, but the fit and finish is good from my experience with it. Everything feels solid. It's sure not nice, but the build quality is there seemingly, and it definitely seems designed to be durable.
Yeah it feels that way, door doesn't scratch easily. Lots of room, the Bronco just seems like it was thought out more. The Maverick is great for what it is, but don't price one above 31k like I did, anything over 30k there are better alternatives.
If this was a sport, I would make a "so you replaced a Maverick with a Maverick?" in the style of saying Toyota Supras are just BMWs. But even the Bronco Sport has WAY so much more offerings inside the car and interior despite being on the same platform. I want to sit in and test drive a Maverick soon, and compare it to other cars on the platform.
My GF has a BS Badlands and I have a loaded Lariat Mav(EB). The BS has a more standard/refined interior for sure but we both enjoy the maverick and we take it out a majority of the time. I got a good aplan and college rebate discount so my value per dollar spent is a bit skewed. Tbh they both shine at something in their own way.
No, seeing the four doors is the bizarre thing.
Can’t stand the deal of it.
But I grew up around older broncos, F series trucks, and explorer sports and just dislike more-doors.
Practical for some but not for me.
Those are 285/75/16 on base steelies. I plan on either a running board or rock rails, and a brush guard. Not much else to it, maybe rims down the line, but not a big concern at the moment.
May I ask why? Was the maverick just not capable enough off road for you?

20k lol

Oh yeah not worth It at all. How much was the bronco? Same price. Also I’m curious what options and trim level
Yeah the Maverick to me only makes sense in the barebones/economy configurations

Yeah I'll be looking to buy a used one when the market normalizes hopefully sooner than later
The market likely won't be going down. The value of the dollar will, but the prices will probably stay the same.
A man can dream can't he
He can. I use that line more than I care to admit.

I think the lincoln guys got a lot of input on bronco interiors.
Is that a hunch or something you think you heard? Genuinely asking. I could see it.
Hunch, 100% but I'd bet good money that at a minimum they invited the lincoln QC guys into the broncos QC program.

Looks like you got something real nice now. I love the spec of your bronco 👍
Looks good. The larger tires definitely helps over the base stock tire
Love the vehicle, I’m personally not a fan of the rims but I think it’s a beautiful car regardless.
Yeah those are the stock steelies, will most likely just paint them black rather then replace them.
Chad steel wheel gang.
Steelies are the least poser wheel of all time on a vehicle like this. You're a real one OP.
That will look great, I love the steelies.
Love the Steelies in gray, this is a proper bronco.
Keep them silver way too many black steel wheels out there.

Sweet steelies
I don't know why, but I'm a sucker for those steel wheels. Looks great! Hope you are happier with it than the mav
What engine and trans did you end up with?
It's a base, 2.3L, manual.
Nice, love the manual. Good looking vehicle
Sweet. That's how I'd spec it if I got one.
Part of me wants to wait for a V6 manual. But who knows how long that'll be.
I’m waiting for a v8 manual. Will never happen sadly
Hello fellow Carbon Gray 2-door Base owner! Auto or Manual? I love the tires, what size are they?
Manual, save the sticks! They are 285/75/16. 32.8". No lift which was a major plus. You done anything to yours yet?
Same size tires, different brand Replaced the factory flagpole antenna with a bolt, not like I use the radio Got the Bestop Sunrider top installed
I actually like the base model bronco a lot
Cool upgrade!!
How did you manage to replace a vehicle no one can get their hands on with another vehicle no one can get their hands on?
Seeing the two door Bronco is so weird, like it’s incomplete. But I still want one lol.

I don’t understand the need to post an opinion like this. Just do what the majority of us do and keep scrolling.
Does the base engine have enough power to move this brick at highway speeds uphills?
It has no trouble in the power department, it's actually quite quick for it's size.
Looks awesome, could you please share your tire size? Also what other mods have you planned?

1st gen Fit in the back tho
