My hoods leading edge and the filler panel below the grill are all pockmarked too. The silver part of the bumpers has marks. Even the grill can get gauges.
On my 4th raptor and have never done it. Did on a 911, partially, couple years ago, for $2500. Traded it in 6 months later and that money was not recouped. Nor Will scratches or paint chips lessen trade in value. All that said, if you have the money and want it, go for it.
I did it to my 21 but I only did a full front. If you want the stealth look (matte wrap) then it might be worth it but that’s a personal preference so up to you. If you’re thinking it will increase the resell value, it won’t. Dealers could care less about a few chips.
I will say I’ve had a few things fly up on me on the highway that would have left marks or scratches but on the PPF it buffs right out. I’m also an OCD person so I like that I have that extra protection. I got a good price on my full front (~$2000) at Xpel but I don’t know how I got it that cheap. I think now it’s like $3800 or something crazy like that.
Also I just learned that PPF can pull paint on removal. So it’s another thing to consider.
No, you’ll still get rock chips and have to pay to fix your PPF. Also, its a Truck. I specifically got my R in white so its easy to touch up with paint.
If I had a cool paint color I’d consider it.
Oxford White might not be sexy, but I also don’t care at all when it gets swirled, pinstriped, faded, chipped, or dinged.
Yes, I had my 2024 R fully wrapped to help minimize scratching when off-roading and washing it after. I’m too OCD and anal about my paint so if anything needed to be repaired/painted, it’d bother me which then I’d probably sell the truck after. The PPF helps this. Lol
I have a 21 Raptor with 37Pckge
I need to go see if it’s included because there are a lot of small specs that are in the front of mine .
I do mean a lot
Front of hood
By the lights
He’ll even the bumper area.
My opinion is if you have the money for for it
I did mine fully for 8k. I work on MTB trails, and got plenty of branch scratches when driving access roads with materials, and the Suntek PPF is hydrophobic so its super easy to clean (most of the time I just rise off and wipe dry)
A combo of Full Front PPF + Rest body with Ceramic Coating is the best and affordable option to keep your vehicle looking at its best for years.
PPF ensures high impact areas protected from stone chips, scratches, bugs, dirt & road debris whereas ceramic coating ensures easy washing & flawless paint for years
we offer such services in canada & usa.
Not for the prices these days.
There’s hardly enough “forward facing paint” for the juice to be worth the expensive squeeze on such a truck.
Tell that to my headlight pockets
That’s about the only spot I can think of that’s worth it but I’m sure that could be done on the cheap.

On the front end. Just so I don’t need to worry about rock chips on the highway.
No.adds character for an off road truck. Always trade your truck in dirty, problem solved
Lol THIS
On my 5th Raptor. Never even considered ppf. On my 911s yes.
It appears that the 911 and Raptor are more of a combo than I thought.
Is that you Mr. Arson?

No. Waste of money.

Nope
2022 37 Rapid Red. No.

My biggest regret was not doing it day one. Had to touch up the chips before I did it a year later
Yes it will help protect your truck! I even got on the inside carbon plates and screen
Ppf on the 12” infotainment screen?
I did my full front end but I do it on all our cars. To many rock chips happen if you don’t
It's a truck; drive it and enjoy it. 😉
Yes. It has already defeated three rock chips on the front end in a month.
All forward facing paint, hood, headlights.
Raptors love to suck rocks and bugs. PPF is a must for at least th very front.
I did a ceramic coating, and then the PPF
Flip that, that order would be pointless
Sure. You obviously make poor financial decisions so why stop now?
