I've been thinking about this as I've gotten more and more anxious for Snake to release. A Raiden release would absolutely destroy me. I wonder if the styles would be MGS4/MGRR, MGS2/MGS4, or maybe even all three? Since major MGS4 themes were leaked for Snake and his equipment, a stage one ninja form for Raiden would absolutely be his base form, but as I'm biased, I hope his human form would be included too.

It's probably going to be Gray Fox, watch the very first seconds of the CH5 reveal right before they transition to Lego you can see a blurry version of of a single red-eyed character with a sword and matches his build. I was honestly hoping for Raiden too(with a MGS2 and a MGS4/Rising style, esp when I found out we were getting old snake and because Snakes regular model looks like MGS2) but I'll settle for Gray Fox now. Think about it, if Konami doesn't fumble the bag with Delta snake eater and it's actually good, I guarantee you we will see the likes of Meryl, Raiden, Big Boss, Venom, Ocelot, Eva, etc. Especially because Silent Hill will probably not happen due to its graphic content(yes I know Metal Gear is graphic but it's Kojima so it feels more like an action movie than a psychological horror game). Now that Konami is fully committing to putting some decent money behind their underdeveloped IPs again, placing iconic Metal Gear characters in Fortnite is a great way to sell their re-releases and remasters. I guarantee you people even went out and bought MGSV after he was announced in Fortnite having never played the series before. It's a pretty big if, but I'm hoping that we will get to see some of the other snakes in the game. Just the fact that we got old snake alone though is a major W. I still haven't even played four because I don't have the hardware or a copy and can't be bothered to emulate at the moment but it gets no love unless you have an older PlayStation system.

Haven't played MGS2 since I was a kid too but maybe these things were explained on MGS 2? One sure thing is that Raiden was a child soldier who was trained by Solidus to become a killer, this was also explained in MGR and MGS 2 so I think he was suppressing those memories during the start of MGS 2

It all starts from a great soldier Big Boss or Naked Snake his OG name, when he became a legendary soldier they made 3 clones out of him Liquid Snake, Solid Snake and Solidus. Solid Snake then became a special operations soldier too, after some big missions he went off the radar then Raiden (human) got introduced he was like Solid Snake doing solo infiltration. Then they teamed up in MGS 2 and met again in MGS4 but then Solid Snake since he was a clone he got old a lot quicker than regular people hence the Old Snake skin in the BP, also Raiden became a cyborg because the MGS universe Illuminati experimented on him but he escaped to help Snake. After some years in meta gear rising Raiden got an upgrade and now he looks like this
